I popped into a few knock shops last week. First stop was New life as I'd heard from most veterans here it offered consistency.

Having spent a lot of time in southeast Asia, and in Indonesia, I can tell you factually: Indonesia is just about the safest place anyone can visit on the planet. Yeah, some of Bandeh Aceh and some parts of Sumatra are full of radical Wahabi Islamic dudes that don't want you there. But, the rest of the nation: Far, far safer than anywhere in the US Europe or South America. Thats just a fact, and by every single crime metric available can't be disputed. Anything anyone says contrary to that is simply patently false.

I've never felt unsafe in Medellin: though I stay out of Centro at night, and only roam around Parque Lleras and Poblado after dark. I keep some cash and a photocopy of my ID in my front pocket, wear jeans with long sleeve button down shirt everywhere: got to dress like the locals do. And I smile at people and don't act like a jerk. Medellin is a great place to hang out.

I am curious if the Mansion exists anymore sans Jake. And if Jake's arrest has changed any of the monger scene in Medellin.

Of the three Dominican Republic is the easiest. Get an account on Dominican Cupid and within 2 weeks you'll have women from all over the country sending photos, videos and doing Skype shows. 18,19, 20 all the way to 40 year old will be contacting you. The whole country, mountains, sea, rain forest, even desert is easy to get to and cheap to fly there.

I can't speak for Brazil, but my opinion is, go to the DR for a week or two of easy, cheap sex. Go to Medellin if you're going for a long stay.
