What is the best way to get back to USA.
Hi,
Would love a trip to Tijuana. But, I only have a passport. So, I don't know how long the line is to come back. I don't mine an hour wait or even hour and 30 minutes. But, trying to get back after a reasonable wait. Any suggestions? I would like to go maybe tomorrow until Monday morning. Thanks.
Walk-in motel tomorrow (Sat 5)?
I just found out I can nip down to Tijuana tomorrow, Saturday 5th March. I've been casually browsing this forum over the last few weeks but not read everything, and the situation changes fast.
I have turned up in Tijuana once before and eventually managed to find a motel without a reservation (but I must have tried 4-5 before succeeding). So, given it's a Saturday, will probably arrive around lunchtime, what are the chances of finding somewhere half decent in the Zona Norte or Downtown (Centro?) areas? Somewhere safe to walk to at night from HK, maybe $30-50, nothing fancy as long as it's clean and safe, and will take US $ cash. If you have particular motel names to look at, I'd appreciate it. I don't speak an ounce of Spanish beyond pleasantries. An in-room safe would be good. Do you guys take your passport to the bars or leave it in your hotel room? Thinking of taking driver's license but not passport to the club if there's a safe.
Like I say, I've been before but that was years ago. Can I use a phone discreetly inside HK, eg sit in a corner, back to the crowd? I just want to spend a few hours and might like a break to browse Reddit or whatever. Still $1 for a quick consensual grope? $10 for a female drink, $80-100 for sex (though I probably won't)? BJ inside HK?
Finally, COVID. Are we kind of back to normal, wrt crossing the border, sitting in a bar? No masks required anywhere. Except at the border perhaps and on the trolley? Plan is to arrive on the trolley and use that crossing.
Thanks.

Crusader,
Weekday avoid crossing back between 5-9 AM when long lines of people cross into the US for work, school, trade ect. The lines are unpredictable, but the wait is usually only 5-15 minutes between 10 PM and 5 AM. My wingmen walk back late at night every weekdays and weekends, hardly any delay late at night.
Depending on your schedule, you may want to pack up and play until the early morning hours, then cross back early, sleep on the US side to avoid unpredictable long lines at the border.
You can use your phone in HK. I cruise the internet and check my msgs all the time in the middle of the club, no problem. HK uses security cameras and relies on meseros to spot guys video or take pictures, but you can take pics with the chicas who sit and drink with you. If they suspect you to video the club, a security guy would politely warn you and want to check the camera. They are very polite unless they know you as a career offender.
Lock away your passport in Cascada's safe. You only need ID if you pay with credit cards. If not, cash is all you need to bring hehe.

There should be vacancies in Cascada and Rizzo de Oro Sat noon, $75 and $60 singles for the night respectively. They would probably let you check in early before the 3 PM check in time. If not leave your luggage at reception and come down to the club to play. Both places are open for girls from HK and Chavelas; they also lets you take street girls to your room. Only Cascada has safes. Good idea to leave all your valuables in the safe and take only a stack of cash down to the club to play.
Hotel Leyva (or Posada de Santiago) next to Chicago Club takes no reservations, strictly first-come-first-serve, always has rooms, $25 for a night. The rooms are old and sparse but clean and safe enough. A wingman reported cock roaches invading his luggage, so watch out. Hacienda de Santiago, same owner as Leyva, same age, same price, is a couple hundred feet West on Coahuila. You can walk to HK and other bars safely from these hotels.
Don't worry about the lack of Spanish. Workers in La Zona Norte have been dealing with Gringos for decades, so they can communicate, or use G Translate.
