All half dozen or more of them said no to an ordinary sexual request commonly agreed to in Bangkok and I did not take them. I have gone there because friends want to go. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. I used to much prefer Pattaya over Bangkok. But that was 20+ years ago.
One point some miss is that it isn't just a serious treasure hunt to find a girl worthy of engaging based on her looks. It is, as you alluded to, a matter of finding one who will go with you. And I will add a further hurdle; after you've found the looker that agrees to go with you, how godawful will she be in the room after all the effort. In my experience, that third one turns out to be the highest hurdle of all.
On my last trip it struck me that, not only are the vast majority of bargirls, go-go girls and freelancers in Pattaya virtually un-doable based on looks, even the regular girls working in the shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, going to and from their offices, etc. are way less attractive than their Bangkok counterparts. I think the pull and potential opportunities for the better looking (and better skilled, more accommodating) women of this part of Thailand to the Big Mango in the north is just too great to resist as soon as they can rustle up the 150 baht or so to take that 2-3 hour bus ride.

Plenty of ladyboys trying to vie for your attention and a horde of non-descript girls out front of the numerous massage parlors. Its a convenient place to stay, but not the block you would expect to find above average girls on.

I'd like to know where in Bangkok other than maybe Thermae bar and Rainbow in Nana you are finding hotter working girls than the top Pattaya gogo bars. Which gogo bars did you visit most recently in Pattaya and when?

Agree but there were 3 places in the Summer in the area. One was a young and cute girl at U-Turn cafe a few doors down from Post Office. The other place were Kiss Chill and JJ Karaoke on 3rd Road between LK President and Cherry's restaurant. On some nights, Kiss Chill would have the best lineup in Pattaya, competing with top gogo bars. Unfortunately, all 3 places have been shut down since around October/November.

But as some have mentioned below, other parts of Thailand - even the unpleasant capital - may still offer some hope for those capable of major spending & arduous searching.

Even in these extravagantly expensive places it seemed very picked-over.

[/QUOTE]Ha ha. Surely this depends a lot on personal taste. I hate the girls in Rainbow 5 and find very few are exciting me in Thermae as well. Have not even been in Rainbow 1 for quite a long time. So not rating these as top for Bangkok for my taste. I would not claim that pretty Pattaya girls are too difficult to find. However your taste won't be like mine.
I assume that with prices in Pattaya getting much closer to Bangkok prices these days, that the standard of girls must have improved a lot. In former times, pretty girls would have known that they could make possibly double the money in Bangkok over Pattaya, but I assume that this has evened out and not the case any more.

[/QUOTE]I only remember Bacarra as the name of one go-go bar we went into. There were 2-3 others but don't remember the names. Also, Windmill Bar, but I would not use that one as an example of Pattaya's finest looking P4 P girls.
They all had customers and seemed to be popular clubs. I think Bacarra was the one where the 2-3 very good looking girls could not pull their eyes away from the young Asian customers as they entered and sat there. And I would say neither me nor my friend got warm and encouraging vibes from any of the better looking girls in any of the go-go bars we went to. They acted as if they were the Grand Prizes in all of Pattaya. Which I suppose they were even though I would not rate any I saw above a go-go bargirl 7. 5 or 8 at the outside in terms of looks.
And as I said, the level of attractiveness is just the begining of the hurdles to clear before you get to a truly worthwhile experience. Attitude and vibe would be next and that is where the aloof disinterest from the 2-3 good looking girls in those bars comes in.

I have found girls that were not keen to even answer (not even a single word of rejection), when I spoke to them quite nicely, I thought, to check if they were available. They could have given me a simple "Mai Waang" (busy). Choosing the right venue is critical. Normally it is me, completely ignoring the unwanted girls approaching. LOL.
We get to know we are second class citizens in some clubs (assumed Stingy? or arrogant? or demanding?), and others are demoted to 3rd class, etc.

If I see someone I like I will get them a drink while they are on stage. If she wasn't smiling she will have a huge smile when she knows money is coming her way. Next time you're in town ask me for a current list of the most fun and good gogo bars to find nice girls.

Why does it seem that so many people make a point of posting complaints about their Pattaya experience? They went to Pattaya and their visit did not live up to their expectations, therefore Pattaya is done? Hey I spent a few days there last month, and I had a blast. I can't wait to go back. So, what did I experience that the not satisfied could not attain?
I would opine that those who complain simply have unreal expectations, and possibly an exaggerated sense of self-importance. What? The most beautiful women in Asia didn't throw themselves on you? I guess my standards are a bit lower. I was happy with having cute Asian girls call out to me ever 5 feet I walked.
And these complaints about not getting the most attractive women reeks of insecurity. I've had beautiful girlfriends in the past and was even married to a beautiful East European woman for 12 years. I say she was beautiful because I was constantly told she was. Whenever my colleagues me her, they told me that straight out. Unfortunately, one of her colleagues felt the same way and she reciprocated his feelings. I'm a happy bachelor now, and an even happier monger. I've got nothing to prove by seeking out the most beautiful women. I just want to have a good time with girls 30 years my junior. I'm 59, so that's easy!
But one thing I have learned from it all is that looks are not directly proportional to performance. That was the case with the ordinary women I met. And it applies to working girls, as well. One thing I have found since I resume mongering since the end of my marriage is that the prettiest girls can be the most "subdued" when you get them in the sack. I encountered this dilemma in Medellin last April. Beautiful girls, but didn't compare to what I engaged in Berlin, and nowhere near the level of service I got in the LOS. I didn't have any disappointing experiences when I was in Thailand. But, I did notice the most exciting sex was with ordinary women who did not stand out. Rather, they made themselves obvious by propositioning me assertively, offering me a great price for an hour of sex, and then delivered more than expected.
So, if you are caught up in your own insecurities, or have something to prove by paying for sex with a beautiful woman who is otherwise out of your league. Well. That is your business. But, don't dump on Pattaya. Or any other mongering destination because Ms. Universe didn't rock your world for $50.
Yeah, we all want some sweet young thing to bang. But Best looking doesn't equal a great fuk. Case in point: Met an older lady in Telephone bar last trip, she was thick but had a curvy shape. Great attitude in the bar. Took her upstairs, and this chick had MAD skills!! She's like Viagra to me, always gets me to pop twice, and is a 3 holer. She's late 30's, and is probably the oldest lady I've banged in Thailand. Needless to say I keep in touch with her.
I've also met some great mid thirties ladies in Bangkok. Found out recently, one, who I thought was late twenties is 34 yrs old.

I met a girl at Insomnia last May (who was quite new here then having just come in from the Udon Thani area after a divorce after 8 years and 2 sons. Husband got himself a lady on the side and she left him). We hit it off then and had great vibes, attitude and total GFE. A solid 7. 5 and about 28 yo. Find out on this trip that she left Pattaya after 3 months at a GO GO (Aussie guy wanted her to stop working and paid the Go Go place (not a top Go Go) about 25 k baht. Was going to take her back with him to Australia after 10 days but could not get a visa. Later, she did not like Pattaya and went back after about 4 months in total with 100 k baht saved up. She said that when she was here there were nights when she'd go with a man, when she wondered if she would be alive the next day. Meaning, there are many, many low life, horrible guys here that these girls take a chance with. Things take their toll. Having to drink all day to earn money, then head out ST or LT, then sleep and come back and keep doing that again and again.
Well, she wanted to come back and stay with me but I held off for about a week. Could not find much better, so I had her come in after about 10 days here. Never any discussion about money, she paid her way in by bus (about 10 hours overnight ride), we never discussed money when she was here.
We/ I had a great GFE time and enjoyed music, discos, food, shopping etc. I'd bought her some dresses which were all XS USA sizes and all fit her super great. Took her to 7 all you can buffets (5 lunch buffets at the Hilton). Great live music venues, 4 times at Insomnia until at least 5 am. She always stayed snuggled up all the time and always together in bed for a true GFE. Spent a lot of money in total, obviously (but gladly) and after 10 days I sent her back home to her parents (oldest of 2 daughters), after she deposited the money I gave her (I was generous there too) into her bank account here. She paid for absolutely zero things when she was here, no rent, no nothing and also did a few touristy spots with me. I take cabs a lot and moto taxis only for very short rides. So, she felt pampered I am sure.
The point of all of the above is to say that:
1. Yes, it is difficult to find good ones. But when you find them, treat them well, and if it fits your MO, keep them for as long as you like the experience.
2. Hunting every night takes its toll on us too.
3. As we get older, we get pickier, and girls with today's Facebook, Instagram and other dating apps have more choices. Even at Insomnia I see so many Turkish guys throw money (like raining 20 bahts. 1000 bahts at a time) and stuff money 20,50 and 100 baht notes into the girls bras and panties when they are dancing up on stage at Insomnia). So, the girls see this and their expectations go up too.
Actually, from what I can see the younger guys ( in their 20's and 30's and way better looking than me) are not as picky. And, I think it is because they don't have the benefit of the inventory of comparisons tha we older guys have. And, IMO that is our problem. We are too picky. I know am! Very, very picky.
4. Adjust to the new realities in the world and play the field as it presents itself. There are many nice girls, but percentage wise only about 5-10 pc, so a lot of work, time and patience is required, if you are picky like me. Don't give up. Keep trying until you get what you want. Don't settle. You don't have to scrore every night, or a new girl every time. Quality counts. Dress cool. Always come across as fun and upbeat, even if you are in your 50's like me!
I had a similar experience in Lima, Peru in October for 2 weeks with a 20 yo, 7.5. So, I believe my overall thoughts are not specific to Pattaya. It's a different world out there...in terms of limited options, greater competition, more expectations, i am older now and the younger ones are not blind.
Well, I will be off again to adventure, explore and search anew, to see if I can find 1-2 more good ones in the next 10 days that I will be here this trip ...so I am hopeful and optimistic. I do have some back up numbers for 3 girls ( all 20's and 2 7 to 7.5) from Insomnia on this trip. But, I am still holding out for a long shot!

Even in Thailand, I have a first GF and 2nd semi-GF and they are not in Pattaya, even a couple of other priority girls, that I am not at all bored with. Very limited time available for Pattaya for foreseeable future. Maybe in a few months. LOL.
It would indeed be nice to have a little bit of guidance since I did not get to Pattaya for over 20 years. LOL This was caused by being stupid enough to have a GF all that time except for about 1 year, where I could have taken the big opportunity. If I never had any GFs, I would have been a lot better off.
I should never have listened to small brain in my dick, and had sympathy for girls in tough circumstances. LOL
