Map from Movenpick to other locations.
Movenpick would be a 10 minute walk to Classic, and I guess less than a minute to Emporivum. It's probably the nicest hotel within walking distance of Classic and Emporivum, though I have not yet stayed there myself.
Going north from Movenpick to:
Emporium, Classic, Travel, 1001.

Google Maps is your friend.
I will be staying at Movenpick for a month.
Those wanting Movenpick might also take note that at 14 days before arrival, price seems to go up quite a bit, and keeps going up. I planned to stay at Movenpick last time, mainly due to the terribly repetitive breakfast at Redtop, but by the time my travel dates were finalised, the price difference between Movenpick and Redtop had grown too big for me. Redtop price seems to stay the same however, and rooms have the added bonus of a bath, for those of us who care about that.
Luminor I ruled out due to lack of decent (if any) gym and / or swimming pool.
I like the generally-central location, and my budget can easily handle the $100/ night rate. I've done too much travel for business and other purposes in the last 4 decades to be happy at a 3-star (or less) location for more than a few nights. Verified it is guest-friendly by email. And as EA pointed out, I'll get more Accor points when I head to Bali after Jakarta.
Millenium Hotel Sirih Jakarta
Has anyone stayed at the Millennium Hotel Sirih in Central Jakarta? It's located just a block southwest of Monas, a solid 4-star hotel, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious for the price for about $50 per night on Agoda. I'm looking for a centrally located spot with convenient access to the bars in North Jakarta, Blok M in the south, and CJ and BATs.
