I know she is non p4p, she knows Sukhumvit well from working in offices along Sukhumvit. I also know her cousin, who comes from a rich thai family, and has a good job. Met the cousin on Khao San road the first time, but have not meet the cousin in Sukhumvit even if she knows that is where I stay.
No offence, I know where you are trying to come from (met her on a dating web site right?), but you are making asumptions about how I know this girl.
You'll just have to take my word as to how I know this girl.

I would suggest then, that in the future, if you want to meet someone who is definitely not P4P, you do so somewhere other than Gulliver's (Starbuck's, for example or if you want a pub, then, The Londoner, The Bull's Head or Robin Hood). The girl might not honestly know the implications of going to Gulliver's. But, it simply doesn't look good for her to go there, even if she's only middle class.

Gullivers
I haven't been to Gullivers in a while, but I use to take a "friend" who was a Good Thai Girl there for dinner on occasion. We always ate out on the terrace and she would never go inside. She didn't mind being seen outside eating, but I think inside was too much for her to handle. I have seen other respectable Thais there also, usually earlier in the evening around dinner time, but never later at night.

There are always exceptions, in Gulliver's too - may be you were lucky. But - in general the girls you meet there are involved into P4P, and in general girls not involved into P4P will not go there.
Just as clarification, I was talking about Gulliver's, not about Sukhumvit in general.

Now the life is more and more expansive in Thailand and many students or "normal" girls are hunting in hot spots like Gulliver to find additional sources of cash. This means that they would be the happiest to find a boyfriend.. and, if it is not possible, to find a man for the night.
This is the same situation on web sites... My personal experience on Thai Love Links ("TLL") is that only 10 % of the females there are normal girls which are on this site without any money driven objective.
Let me give you some figures... I have shagged 63 girls met on TLL in a little bit more than one year... It was amazingly easy for most of them... I do not know if it is a representative sample for statisticians but you will admit that it gives me a not-so-bad glance on the population of thai girls interested by Farang males.

If you would meet this girls, you would never imagining how she can be a *****.
These girls are not chasing 2000 bahts... no rabbit hunts... but tiger hunts... They are the most dangerous predators because you are almost sure that they are GOOD girls.
On the 10 % remaining, i think that these girls would be marvelous girlfriends. i wish that yours is in this part of the sample.
