Trip to St. Piter. My experiences, tips etc.
Hi there,
As a long time passive member I finally did a trip to st. Petersburg and wanted to share my experiences.
Things to bring with you:
- about 50-100 euros should be changed into rubles in your home country for 1st expenses (tips for taxidriver to hotel, liftboy, prepaid phonecard etc.).
I got a much better exchange rate in st. Petersburg. My VISA gold creditcard allows me to withdraw money from ATMs without.
Further charges 3 times a year. I used that and got 78.5 rubles / euro which is very good. Only better place was a suspicious looking.
Place in a backyard at Nevsky prospekt 83 (just a small sign with a Euro and Dollar sign on it pinting ack there). They got me 79,4 rubles / euro.
Without further fees.
- a Smartphone.
Get a prepaid phonecard at the airport. I got one from Tele 2 with Internet only (no phonecalls or SMS possible). This cost me 350 rubles for unlimited.
Internet. I used the phone with the following very helpful apps: Microsoft translator, google translator, whatsapp, google maps, Uber and a random mail app. This makes navigating and setting up dates much easier.
- a laptop.
Not a real necessity, but browsing the internet for dates, writing emails in the warmth of your hotel rooms is easier with a laptop. I also used it for music while having a girl on my room. Also having google chrome with automatic translation of Russian (kyrillic) websites at hand is very good. It would even be better for you can use Tineye.
Things I also did in advance:
- Lingotaxi.
I booked myself a taxi in advance with an English speaking driver. He was waiting for me when I left the security area with a sign with my name on. I immediately asked him to help me get a prepaid card. He also knew in advance at what hotel he had to drop me off so. Easy start. You can also try to get contacts for girls from him or get his phone number for he could be your English driver for your trip which I did not. Maybe next time.

Hotels:
I stayed at the "Grand Emerald Hotel" which is a 5-star hotel in the center. Large rooms which are quite old fashioned but nice. It had just one disadvantage: 2 guys of the hotel staff were standing at the entrance 24/7 and the elevator could only get you up using the keycard of your room. Getting a girl to your room means you have to get down and meet her at the entrance. Walk of shame afterwards included. I don't know if the hotel staff really cares but it made me feel uncomfortable.
I also checked out the, oft spoken of, "Corinthia". Even more in the center than the Grand Emerald Hotel it has a large entrance hall which makes it easier for girls to get past the reception (concierge). I could not check the elevators (keycard necessary), but I would recommend the Corinthia if you prefer outcalls. I could also easily spot girls at the entrance hall waiting for customers (not my type though), so I assume the hotel does not care having girls on the room anyway.
Experiences with girls:
I tried different ways. Here is the list with links and my experiences.
Best Real Escort (https://bestrealescort.ru/).
I tried Svetik and Alyona. They are cute but the pictures on the website are totally different. Not photoshopped. Different girls. To start with: never judge girls by their picture while browsing. Always try to see them live.
With this website: girls are cute, but not worth the money (250 EUR /2 hours).
St. Petersburg Escorts (http://euroescort.info/).
With the experience of the service mentioned above I went there to see the girls. Also cute but not worth the money compared to other ways of getting laid, so I left.
Rusdosug (www.rusdosug.com).
As I don't speak Russian at all I was always trying to get girls which speak English (or at least understands a little English). Browsing rusdosug I realized that a lot of girls who seemed to speak English have a contact mail address containg the word "yavamdam. Ru". So wrote an email and got an address a little outside the center, where an apartment with girls is located. The area was quite a dump but paradise compared to the apartment itself. There was an aquarium inside with yellow water (no fish. At least not anymore). The rooms were a mess, too. 2 girls there (one English speaking girl which was quite cute), but I quickly left. Cannot recommend that place, nice price though (2500 rubles / hour, 6000 rubles for 2 hours outcall).
After this experience I quit writing with girls on this site.
Taxidriver.
By far the best way to see girls!
I went down to our reception as asked for an English speaking taxidriver. By the way: English speaking taxidrivers are very rare, but I had luck. The taxidriver spoke a little bit English, and I started a conversation. I pointed out, that I was looking for "a little bit of fun" involving girls. He said he knew an apartment and asked, whether he should take me there. Of course I accepted.
He drove me to an apartment with 5 girls (5000 rubles / hour), very nice interior, nice rooms. Unfortunately all girls were occupied (Friday night), so he took me to another apartment (6000 rubes / hour). Even nicer apartment. To sum it up: he showed me 5 (different apartments, Every apartment having at least 3 girls (one apartment had 7 girls) and all were within the price range of 5 k-6 k rubles / hour. And the best was: every girl in every apartment was a stunner. I am really not exaggerating. Really. The only downside to this was, that the taxidriver took 1000 rubles per drive, which was about double the price he would normally take.
To sum it up:
A taxidriver getting you around in apartments is the best you can do. Do not go for these high price escort websites as all pictures are fake (girls do not even have the same hair color compared to the pictures).
To save some money while doing some sightseeing in the city best use Uber and save your taxidriver for the important dates.
And: St. Peter is worth a visit!
