I agree with both Prashant and Cuban Tourist both. It really is easier to get it done out of India in the neighbouring countries and i do believe Cuban Tourisit is just saying India as a poor country when comparing with the other poorer countries in the region that seems to thrive on this trade seems extremely difficult to get this done. Thailand is not the only one, countries like Cambodia, Phillipines are not exactlly rich countries but it really is easier to get our....er... thirst quench...

What I was trying to say is that India has many poor people and yet has very little open p4p. This seems surprising. There are 1.3 billion people in the country, or whom I have been told 1 billion are extremely poor. CB, Lemme try to put this in perspective. It is a social taboo for a female to do P4P. And a poor Indian female would rather go hungry than sell her body. This does not apply where there is almost no risk of community getting wind of her affairs. Once a woman is looked down by society ( a beggar has a higher locus standing than a prostitute / sl*t { or p4p } ) she would rather commit suicide than live.
