I have actually shit canned Pattaya for awhile. It is not the mongering, but the crowds and people visiting that start to wear on you.

I have pretty much settled on BKK as the main place I come now. The hotels here are not that much more and actually a much broader selection for decent prices. GF is the norm.

Don't be intimidated. It is not as spread out as you think. You can walk from Nana area to Soi Cowboy with many SW and FL spots between. Also, take Skytrain to other areas such as Patpong.

Give BKK a shot you won't regret it.

I ask asked her if this was early price and she says all the time price. So at 2 in morning it is still 1600BT, Yes it is. I sort of laughed and finished my beer and left.

Talk abut getting more expensive, This is crazy. PM if want name of place so can get screwed from food or BF.

What do YOU actually think would happen to a person who said those exact words? Hmm. Finger wag? Chop their dick off? 24 hours in solitary confinement? Where is it written in the laws of the USA that a citizen is forbidden to have sex outside of its borders? I have already proven a point by telling the agent EXACTLY what I was in Mexico for. Did I get asked more questions? No. Did I get searched? No. Was I detained? No. I was just told to go about my way. The poster that you previously quoted told you exactly how it goes down. How many western males do you think get off a plane from Thailand, PI, Brazil, Dominican Republic, or Colombia everyday? Surely they are not putting every one of them through the ringer.

Again, after hundreds of trips abroad I have only gotten searched 4 times. Twice because I said I had crocodile skin with me that I declared. All I had to do was put my bag through the x-ray. The second time the guy told me that if I didn't have but so much (probably had a wallet and a belt or something) then there was no need to say. They didn't care about that. But if I had an extraordinary amount then I would need to say something. Another time I went to an agent who I know personally and he marked the "A" on my customs form, which means that I would have to go to Agriculture. (If they mark a vertical line on your form you are clear to go straight though customs. If they mark an A then you will have to put your bag through the x-ray in agriculture. For each piece of raw fruit, vegetable, or meat the fine is $500.) It was the same place and same machine I went to for the crocodile skin on a previous entrance.

And the fourth time was maybe a year and a half ago. I came from Colombia to New York. I went through Global Entry and was in a hurry to make my connection. After I got my card out of the machine and started making a dash the customs agent ran up behind me and asked me to come with her. We went to a normal table in that same huge room where all the baggage carousels are. (The very room that this show was filmed in. [url]http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/to-catch-a-smuggler/[/url] Check the episodes. Do you see anything about people getting busted for having sex or taking naughty pictures overseas?) In plain view of hundreds of people, she took everything out of my bag and poked some parts with an awl looking for drugs. I also had to turn the power on my computer to show her that it boots up. No putting in my password to unlock it, no searching through files, none of that shit. Just make it lights up and you can turn it back off. I had maybe 20 bootleg DVDs and a few knock off shirts that she didn't even say a word about. When she didn't find any drugs she left me to put my own shit back into my bag and go about my way.

So if I have been through that many times with no problems, and some of you guys probably don't travel near as much as I do but are having so many tales of woe, then maybe you need to play the lottery. Your probability of a hit is obviously much greater than mine.

I never used that horrid little room. The draw back of in the bar, is they seemed to want to give a rather limited length of time. Will be flying into DM from Chiang Rai on Friday noon and have four hours to kill before having to check in for international flight out (airasia).
