How are chances of finding some quality freelancers in Thermae / Biere garden during noon hours? Or is it only after sundown that half decent FLs show up?

About 30 years ago I came to Bangkok, was staying at the Ambassador, and I believe that I was walking somewhere near Sukhumvit Soi 2 (perhaps) and happened on a Soapy with a Fish Bowl and had my first bath and massage (Thai style) by a nude Thai girl who spoke no English at all. It may have been called the "Golden Gate". If anyone knows exactly where the Golden Gate soapy massage was and / or when it closed, I would be interested. Perhaps I should be asking the matriarch Annie at "Annies" this question. Not sure if Aey is old enough to know anything about this one.

I had five hours between flights, rushed out of the airport grabbed a taxi and said take me to a massage parlour. Risky I know and ripe for a rip off but no problems. Had my two hour multi pop session for about $30-$40, back to the airport to get my flight and slept soundly for the rest of my journey. I can't recall where in BKK it was though. Next in BKK in 1993 I checked the yellow pages and it was still operating but no chance of a visit. Back again in 2001 and it had gone by then so made Mona Lisa my regular.

So the position perception is also misleaded by a different taxi route than current.

But I can tell you you will find girls available of a large age spam at Beer Garden in the lunch / afternoon hours.

A way to discourage a punter to take the girl too early, reduce the bar girls in the joint and reduce the "drinking / spending capacity" of the punter.

So it is either you stay (and drink) till the BF goes down (after 11pm) or pay the higher BF ("compensating the bar for the lost revenue) before that. Whetehr before or after the time mark, BF's in Soir 33 are more expensive than Soi Cowboy, Nana etc. Suiting more the japanese clientele who does not care much about those price levels.
