During my October 2025 trip, I discovered numerous outcall massage services near Emporium. I was staying at Luminor.

I contacted one service via WA. A girl responded quickly. I asked to video chat. She declined and said if I didn't like her when she arrived I could cancel and not even pay her taxi. It sounded like a catfish so I ghosted her.

Has anyone tried these outcall massage services? I presume they are full service, girls are homely and cost is 1-1.5 M per hour.

Should I split my stay between north Jakarta (across the street from the Harco Mangga Dua mall) and central Jakarta (close to Classic, Emporium, etc.), or should I commit my whole time to just one of these areas?

There's a consensus on this forum that Classic, Emporium, and Malioboro is the reason to stay in central Jakarta. What is the reason to stay in the north? I hear it mentioned here a lot. Are there sex hotels and brothels / spas in the north that are comparable to Classic, Emporium and Malioboro?

*The reason I want to stay specifically across the street from Harco Mangga Dua mall is because I have points for a hotel there good enough for a 2-night stay. It would allow me to stay on budget.

There is NO FUCKING REASON to do trash in Jakarta. Classic is $4/ beer and $22/ fuck. And the girls are pretty and petite and well built! And the club itself is fun and has a great vibe. From my POV having recently visited if you are in a budget then stay at Classic and fuck at Classic. Shit you would have to work really hard to spend $500/ week there and that's fucking 2-3 girls every night and including lodging.

Seems to me the north would be a waste of your time.

PS if u want to upgrade a bit from classic then stay at Red Top nearby. Maybe $30/night more but def nicer. But Classic will “get it done” as far as a bed and a shower if ur budget is tight. And it is appealing to stumble to ur room at 3AM and crash.

I always knew that Classic and central Jakarta is good for mongering. I just wanted to explore at least one more area of the city (for diversity) and possibly save some $$ in the process. The only reason I was even considering the north in the first place is because members on here mention it a lot and recommend staying at hotels in that area. But I've yet to understand what the attractions actually are to warrant booking a hotel there. I hear the words "Mangga Dua" and "Mangga Besar" thrown around a lot, but what there would appeal to a monger?

I recently did a Google street view tour of those areas and noticed some establishments around Starmoon that look interesting and maybe Sun City spa, but I don't know if these places even cater to mongers. There's also 1001 hotel in the vicinity, but it looks too upscale and expensive. Someone please correct me if I'm missing something here.

*My budget isn't actually that tight, but I also don't want to waste money.

Handy hint (to you and others) - there's this new fangled thing called Google Maps. It might help.

And how long do you think travelling time is between these areas? If only there were ways to figure this out. What a dream if you could look at it on your phone, but that must be years away. They could never break it down by bike, car, walking or public transport either. That's science fiction.

P.S. I have walked between some locations mentioned above. In the days before a lot of the area discovered aspalt. In the rain. I didn't have internet on the phone back then either. Yet I managed to find my way, and also translate in room. There was, however, a thing called hotel internet, pens and paper which helped. You can do it too. Maybe it can be a new definition of raw dogging, though a lot of the orginal definition happens in this area. Shoot, most of Indonesia raw dogs and doesn't even realise it! Not even on a plane either.

What makes Kota Tua worth booking a hotel nearby? Yeah, I can spend hours googling it, but that's the point to posting on this forum first.

However, I think I also got some bed bug bites too from there so I'm not sure if I would stay there again even though the location was so convenient.

I stayed one night and it was fine but feel like Red Top would be a nice step up for not much more. Of course if you have coin Movenpick can't be beat.

My main point tho is there is no point trolling around shitty areas trying to find something cheap. If you can't afford the pretty girls at Classic at $22 then fuck off you should not be doing this at all. There is no better value worldwide and I stand by that.

In my opinion need just no more than 2 h to fuck a girl so you can spend other 22 h to slip and explore around. Remember, Laziness is never a friend of fun, get out of your comfort zone and live your own adventure, otherwise go on holiday in a resort with entertainers who stress you out every day with dances, gymnastics activities and stupid games.

For that price I would even be willing to put up with all that cigarette smoke and the pushy mamasans in there. But I will check out that Red Top hotel. Might give Classic hotel another chance as maybe the risk of getting bed bugs a second stay might be low but I'll check all the reviews including Google, Tripadvisor, etc before I book there again just to see if anyone else has reported similar experiences.
