FORMER EL PASO CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION OFFICER PLEADS GUILTY AND IS SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON ON DRUG CHARGE

United States Attorney Johnny Sutton announced that in El Paso this morning, former Customs and Border Protection officer Margarita Crispin pled guilty to a grand jury indictment charging her with one count of conspiracy to import more than 1000 kilograms of marijuana into the United States. U.S. District Judge Kathleen Cardone accepted her plea of guilty and sentenced her to serve 240 months in prison, a $2,000 fine, 5 years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. In addition, Crispin agreed to a judgment forfeiting up to $5,000,000, a 2002 GMC Denali, $16,000 in currency, and a quantity of jewelry.

Crispin used her position as a CBP officer to knowingly allow vehicles loaded with marijuana to pass through Port of Entry lanes that she was assigned to monitor, without checking or inspecting them. The activity occurred from about June 2003 until about July 2007, when Crispin was indicted by an El Paso grand jury.

"We rely on the integrity of federal officers to enforce the laws and ensure the security of our borders," said U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton. "Agents who join forces with drug smugglers to subvert border inspections undermine border security in the most treacherous way. My office is committed to strengthening our border and will seek out, prosecute and punish those officers who betray their office and our trust."

The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Internal Affairs, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Assistant United States Attorney Juanita Fielden prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

Juarez; so she was "brokering" US $200,000 worth of marijuana based on El Paso pricing and even less based on Cd. Juarez pricing, US $80,000. Where is this "up to US $5,000,000" going to come from? To add insult to injury she'll probably do her time in the cold climates of North Dakota or Minnesota.

Tell me about it: It took me about 4 years to ever find a city of juarez in juarez. When I did find a map and purchase it, I broke the map down into neighborhoods and traveled each neighborhood in search of female talent.

Wow, that was like one of the most insightfull 420 lowdowns I have ever heard in these parts, you are like so right on about the jtown prices (stems or without? ) but like you said, such behaivor shoudlnt be condoned on this board.

That spread out into the parks, bus station in el centro and the monument (like about 4 or 5 prepa's in the vicinity) but I just can't get enough of the salon's behind the mercado and outside the 3-block typical mongering radius, but not by that much.

My ATF was busy so I hit Sarahi.

Sarahi is about a block from Genesis on the corner of Oca, Raza, and 20 Novembre. I’m always in that neighborhood but I never knew it was an MP until I saw Member #2479 link to their ad.

I never got clear answers on the location of these salon baile establishments so I took the opportunity to explore the area generally referred to in previous posts.

The mercado that is referred to is just to the south of the main plaza at the end of juarz ave with the historic church and newer cathedral. This mercado is called cuahtemoc (sp? ) and just as reported the salon baile establishments can be found by walking east of the mercado building along the open street where an outdoor market is held. This is mainly a commercial area so you will have to walk along the east/west street and then north south along those smaller side streets. Several Salon Baile can be easily seen on the side streets (calle mariscal etc. , ). I did not enter because my friend (from Juarez) didn't think it would be a good idea. When the door opened I could discern a bar and "ladies" sitting on stools along it. Presumably waiting for you guys to come by and ask for a dance!

IMHO not recommended for those going it alone especially if you are language challenged.

If you are mongering this weekend be advised portions of Juarez avenue and Francisco Villa are closed off with rides and food booths for the cinco de mayo festiviites. Policia of all kinds are EVERYWHERE for crowd control so keep it together. Its also been my experience that many of the ladies take the day off on holidays and cannot be found at mesaje, Pink Lady, etc.

Thanks for the great report. I have always had good experiences at Sirenas too, but I wish they had individual showers in the rooms. One question though... Is Luxxor now asking $70 for their standard fee or is it still $50 plus extras?

Unless they had a change in management from last summer, I recommend avoiding Sirena's.
