Had the pleasure of getting tatiana's phone number from this boards member "Smokers Rule" (Thanks SR! ) and called her up. Between my little espanol and her equally little Ingles, I managed to explain where I was and she promised to be here at 4.
When she arrived (right on time) I met her in the lobby, one big hug and we were best friends. Up in the room, her skills are incredible, especially with her BBBJ. So I have trannies on my right but I opt to hang a left and check this side street. Go a couple blocks and see some SW. I remember reading a report that stated "watch out for the trannies". Dayum he wasn't lying. Very slow to pull the trigger because its hard to tell which is tranny and which are not. Everyone that looks good turns out to be tranny when I get up close. Where the hell are they getting these asses from? ! A few blocks of exploring and I end up back on the main street. (the one with the TransMilenio). I look ahead and walking towards me is a SW. 5'7¨wide hips in tight jeans. Light jacket unzipped with full C (probably D) cups exposed for all the world to see. They just a bouncing too. Okay I decide this is the one. When we get close enough I'm going to stop and talk to her. Closer. Closer. PHUCK! It's a tranny.
I need to emphasize (sp) on the other report. Watch out for the trannies. Know where you are before you have too many drinks. The tranny situation here is none like I've seen before. They really blur and make a big mess of the gender line.
Cross over to the north side of Calle 22. I see a group of ¨somethings¨ standing in a doorway. As I get closer I'm positive these are females. This is, of the group of 5 only 2 looks 18 or older. The one eyeing me as she rubs her breasts I'd give her all of 13. 14 tops. I didn't stop to talk but dayum she was fine tho.
This area is scaring the shyt out of me. Everyone I'd consider fine has been a tranny or a minor. I'll walk a few more blockls then get the heck out of here. I pass Whiskeria California. There's a name I remember reading about. Step inside, walk to end of hallway and the main action is upstairs. Thing is there wasn't any so I didn't stay. From the stage and poles I'd say this was/is a strip club. 2500 for beer and only 2 girls working. Like I said, I didn't stay or ask any questions.
It's about 6pm (ish) and I stop into Manizalita night club. Strip club with about 10 girls working. The one on stage is HOT. She gets done and as customary goes straight to freshen up. 2500 for beer.
I should mention that the doormen are also waiters. They'll pat you, seat you, and get the drinks for you. So far both clubs have been this way. First time I was like WTF are you following me. (said mentally only)
Anyway she's freshening up and the guy is getting me a beer. When he asks if I want a chica I let him know the one of want just got off stage. I guess he talks to her because he comes back and says she'll be ready in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later she's not out so I leave.
The street action here reminds me alot like Tijuana. More aware of the situation I decide to just take me chances there.

As you head west from the calle 22 trans stop, everything south is tranny. The area is from calle 18 to 22 with most of the action being from 20 to 22. from east to west it runs for about 6 blocks with the main of it in the first 3 blocks.
The female clubs are on the north side of calle 22. just about the same parameters as the tranny side.
This is a bad area but not once did I ever feel threatened and nobody bothered me. One or two, can I get some change. keep walking and that ends that. Will mention that I took my watch off and never took out my camera. Jeans, pull over shirt and old tennis shoes could be the uniform of the day. In this area nobody dresses up.
Before getting to BOG i stopped in LAX for a few days. About to leave for BOG and I ask the both for the exchange rate. 1930:1 but she doesn’t have any. BOG airport I get 1870:1. I just exchange 20 to have taxi money. The need day the rate is 1850:1.

Flew in to Bogota from Panama city panama. For some reason we boarded the plane at 830pm but we didn't land till 1045pm. Literally we sat on the runway for 1hr before take off. And panama city airport is not a busy airport right now.
So we landed and checked in by Monday 1130pm. Not knowing exactly when was I leaving Bogota I decided to brave it and go out despite being a Monday night nearing 12am.
So grabbed some cash and off we go. Hoped on the taxi busted out my blackberry and DOH! No blackberry access.... The thought of a blind bat roaming the city at night creped my mind. Well, money in hand, mind on colombian rubias I decided to follow my bad instinct and listen to the cab driver.
After another crazy taxi ride I found myself being escorted into a room with some 30 chikas between 6 to 9 beauty scale. A little shocked I sat at the bar and ordered scotch, which turned out to be 25000pesos. (Ouch, same price as the over priced night clubs I goto in Los Angeles). So I chit chat with the bartender on how this place works and what's it called. He says this is Lolas and you talk to girls or just drink with them(at your expense) and if you decide to attempt to remove anyone of the girls it would be 100k pesos(at your expense). By the way, you negotiate the rates with the girls directly he whispers.
Ok. Sounds like I am in a hostest club. Great. At this point I realize my cup is empty and this girl (a 7 but 8 after the scotch) was on my lap. Oh my how did that even happen. So we chit chat, I find out her name is Isabella she thinks I am Japanese then next thing we do is to the negotiations. She says 300k I counter 150k for the night and we settled at 200k. Damn, too many scotch already, total of 4. So I pay the tab, 200k+ for the drinks and fine and off to my place we go.
Get into our hotel and wtf the hotel manager says its not girl friendly and ask me to pay a 50k addition to the room. Can't really argue when I have already shelled out 200k+ for the fine and taxi etc and another 200k for the girl (which I haven't given her yet. ) Fine. I know when I am a little more sober I would be kicking my self in the nuts.
So back to the room we go. Right after I close the door dfk started. Awesome feeling. My hands wonder and manage to disrobe her and we move to the bed. One of the Runways at Eldorado was closed for repairs when I arrived from Medellin Sunday. I think it willl be a few more days of delays.

Stayed at the VIP Bogota for 3 nights. Very easy. Just wrote an emai to Fred. It is a private apartment with ensuite bathroom, sitting room, and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a local liand-line phone. It is at a main intersection in what appears to be a nicer and safer part of town. There is security at the front door and there is no problem as far as guests. Fred even offered to help find what you want.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. The only down side was traffic noise in the morning. Only a problem if you like to sleep in in the morning and if you are sensitive to it. And I guess willbe the same in any hotel in central Bogota. The other thing was that the sunlight was very bright through my curtains. No problem for me I had my eyemask.
I flight arrived at around 8:50 pm and I was picked up by juan Camillo, from the airport Fred's brother in law He drove me back to the apartment where I arrived at about 10 pm. So only slightly more than 1 hour from flight arrival t to clearing immigration, getting luggage, getting through customs, meeting Juan Camillo and getting into the apartment. Camillo showed me everything and introduced me to the security guards. Fred then called to see if I needd anything and offered to give me a guided tour of Bogota the next day. I said I would quite like to see some local nocturnal hotspots. Camillo offered to take me and he drove around town showing and sampling some some of them. Great start to my first time in Bogota.
I have no hesitation recomending Hotel VIP in Bogota, especially for the first time visitor. Fred is always available to take calls for information and advice.

I like to walk to the local bars and the two malls in the area, but the hotels in the area are very expensive.

It was very nice. I had a girl visit me after dinner for a few hours, but since she was not staying the night, there was no question of a chica fee or paying for a double.
