There are plenty of really independent providers in Guangzhou, they can be easily found, if you will find them acceptable, just forget about slim and under 30, that is all.

JKY Spa is unfortunately closed for a few weeks. The guard said everyone's "gone on holiday" but looked like they were renovating. No other hotel providers available. But a lot of weixin and momo providers nearby.

Another well-reviewed sauna about 10 minutes drive south of JKY is also closed down, don't know if temporary or not. It's on the 3rd floor of Weilan Guoji 蔚蓝国际 , inside Huahai Dasha Tower A 华海大厦A座 at Jiangnan Da Dao Zhong 江南大道中.

The title says it all. I'm in my room in the Garden Hotel and my head is spinning. I've never seen anything write like this!

I've had two approaches on WeChat, both opening with 600 One ignored my protestations of the high price, another surprised me by dropping the offer to 500 then 400. I'll report separately in the Words and Phrases section.

Went out for dinner and grabbed a cold one from the 7- eleven, then like a Moth To Flames took a walk down the street to the side of the hotel to see what was going on. Declining all manner of substances from the African gentleman, I walked past a number of ladies who, between the caked on make up and the incredible, in-your-face cleavage, I would not dare to guess at their nationality. There was a curly haired blonde who caught my eye, but perched on the fence outside McDonald's, with a group of other young people and dressed casually in a summer trouser dress, she seemed to be on the way home from the club rather than on the game.

I returned to my hotel, ignoring the come- here glances from a beautiful lady at the piano bar, and had a look again at wechat. And there she was! I think. Two profiles, same photos, same phone number, one 100m one 600m away. Surely there aren't two women looking like that on the game in Guangzhou? If there are, I'll have them both, together, please!

Let me say that Garden Hotel is definitely not GF. Took me a while to realise what was going on, but as I entered the lift, so did another fella with a conservatively dressed young lady. Hotel security (?) stopped the lift from leaving and as checking a printed copy of presumably room / occupancy records. Charlie got out and took Charlotte with him, and of I went upstairs, only to dawn on me later what had just happened.

There's been controversy over posting Weixin photos recently, but I think it's clear why these particular photos are there, and I'm sure our heroine wouldn't object to them being shared in the hope of driving up future business.

I couldn't help but message her on WeChat and also texted the number that was at the bottom of the screen (sorry I didn't think to capture that) but got no reply. I installed wechat just to check what is up with that app. (had it on android but barely used it, so now I installed it on my itouch)

I am staying close to the Garden Hotel, anyway I started to check girls and funny enough at around 800m to 1km you start getting some photos of the colombians, and since Kama is at around that distance basically it means they are probably there.

Seems a better way to contact them if you not feel like going to Kama.

Anyway here are some pics from wechat. Maybe someone gets lucky and see if they can contact them from wechat, since I am leaving tomorrow morning I will not put the effort.

Since you are staying close to the Garden Hotel, is it at a GF hotel? Any suggestions? I have heard a lot of nice things about The Ocean Hotel. Anyone know about it? Short review?

It seems they are all girl friendly to a point (expect garden hotel and bayun hotel those are no no for bringing girls at night, of course that rule goes out if you can get a girl to come during the day)

I usually stay at the holiday inn, during the day the girls come without a problem, and during the night they will call you to let you know a girl is there for you and that they will register her, they also call you when she leaves in case you had any trouble, that is a nice touch. If the reception feels like messing with you, they will not let her up till you come down and sign for her. This only happen once to me.

But I think it was you who said they where not allowing girls on Holiday inn? Or I might be confusing you.

I was also checking the ocean hotel, it seems like a good option.
