Finally went to a famous sauna, one side seems business not as usual, this is because when viewing from outside (at night), no lights on. The other side of the story, when I went inside, I am told I have to wait for at least 30 mins since all the rooms were full.
As times goes by, I would expect the genuine business-as-usual.

I was in the mood for some quick service and decided to try a BBS not far from the Sports Hotel on Nandan Road. The location is 225 meters west of Xuguangqi Memorial Gardens on Nandan Road., on the same side. It's at the end of a stretch of little shops on that block. Hard to miss. It poses as a semi-legit massage place on a busy street, but it's small, a bit shabby and not hard to figure out what it is. I had a somewhat poor experience there once before, with pushy attendants trying to up the ante after negotiations for one provider became a try to get me to pay for two. BTW, they don't speak English or at least pretend not to.
This time the service was better. The older manager took me upstairs to a row of booths with curtains and proceeded to give a mediocre back massage. After about five minutes of that, I flipped over and two fairly cute younger gals came in to push for the upcharge, which was a total of 300 RMB for the Mamasan to work my pole and the girls to kiss, shimmy, moan etc. That would have been a lot for just that, but I had them both lift their shirts and undo their bras, and both had really nice pairs of young, firm breasts just what I like. With a pair in each hand I had a lot of fun comparing and playing and of course, pop goes the weasel. So, basically, I got what I paid for some quick, interesting refreshment, a little more massage from the two young ones afterwards, and off for some dinner.
As for LE, the manager was a little cautious, locking the front door each time after anyone entered, but they didn't seem concerned that I might be LE since I am Laowai. Although I don't usually stay at the Sports Hotel when in Shanghai, I suspect that they get a good deal of business from their guests.

PS. FWIW, I don's see any difference in the service level from pre Expo to now I had no problems at the three nines in March nor any problem with in house at the large hotel near Shanghai Mansion Restaurant in Xujiahui.
Just came back from SH. Had very good time at the Tong Mill, look like replacement of Tong Ren Lu. Many bars from there are now here. Can recommend Libido, Club LA, Coyote Ugly, Mayflower, and a new disco with dancing (forgot name). But not many folks there, so every visitor gets a good treatment.
Expo is also interesting to visit as there are most of the time half million of visitors almost every day. If you enjoy standing 2 to 4 or sometimes 8 hours for seeing some pavillions inside it is a great experience.

Just a little sharing of my last couple trips to Shanghai during Expo. Went to a Sauna recommended by a Chinese friend as to have excellent services!. To my disappointment, and due to Expo crack downs, the service was indeed excellent, meaning a great massage, but nothing else. So for next trip I decided to visit a couple of the bars so much talked about in this forum. Malone's on a wed. Night, a few local talent, about 6's and 7's, a tall beauty though, but seems to much into the biz so decided to move to close by Manhattan. Wow quite a difference, the place was packed with talent, Philipino, Vietnam, and some Chinese. At the bar counter started rubbing arms with a petite beauty, turn out to be from Vietnam. Settled the deal and off we go, in taxi long french kissing and rubbing. At my place immediately hit the shower, and came back fresh and naked. Nice BJ skills with no plastic in between my boy and her lips, beautiful hard pointing nipples. No rush, good turning and turning for about 1. 5 hours. Damage 900 plus taxi money, I know is steep in China, but is Expo time so expect the demand/offer to push prices up. Good experience though overall, but got a little sick of her broken inlgich.
Hi guys, just continuing with my sharing of bar experience in Shg. Went back to Manhattan on a Sat. night. Again plenty of foreign and local talent. Spotted a local goddess, but been around mongering in China I dismissed the idea of talking to her, since usually these talents are overpriced and under performers. Just to my surprise tough, she approached me and stand next to me for a good few minutes, I pretended not to notice her but she gave me a smile, and that was it guys. Next I have agreed to a all niter for 1500, she spoke decent English, very elegant a 9 face, 7.5 body and friendly enough. In cab big french kissing had the female taxi driver uneasy. Just curious - but why would you want to order a McDonald's hamburger if you're at Morton's?
And will need to pay a heckuva lot more for it than if you ordered the best Prime grade steak there.

Some people do not like Asian Women, some others want to try something different after months in China.
There is some Caucasian, quite expensive. You can go try Mint, around the DJ. I am sure must be other places, but with my wife staying in SH, I cannot check until mid July.
