Rumba
Last night Rumba was filled up pretty good. Chicas all over the place. Last night looked like it used to a short while ago. Where early evening Rumba has a small crowd, then it fills up. To the point there is no where for chicas to sit. So they hover around the bar or wherever they can be seen. Many stay in Rumba, parade back and forth perhaps, but closer to 10:30 more chicas start piling into Rumbas many who are actually heading to Classicos to line up and get their armband early. Then either they go up and in Classicos or hang out a little bit hoping to get an early client, knock him off and make it back to the strip shortly after. They already have their armband so they can go to the disco.
The main difference IMO than the look a few years back, is that chicas are getting dropped off from their motos as close as they can get to the strip as possible, since there is no parking where many of the clubs and restaurants are for the 2 long blocks. A lot of sexy looking chicas going to Classicos. But it's still a buyers market even though some guys report that enough of these chicas will try to price themselves for 3 k and up for ST. Some dudes wait it out and make their move later, figuring they can get them for a lot less. But then their other concern is missing out on a chica that might disappear with someone else. Thats an issue which often works against the objective of keeping prices and these chicas expectations in check.
Not being a Classico regular and now staying in the DR longer, I don't see myself feeling comfortable giving a chica 3 k or more, not even for TLN. Especially knowing I'll probably bust within 20 to 30 minutes. And we both know she aint and was never staying for 2 hours, or going to wait for me to recharge to hit it again, and she definitely aint staying all night. Thats why it don't make sense for me to be paying more than 1500 for maybe 20 or 30 minutes of her time. My known regulars may stay all night for 2000 to 2300 pesos. And even by certain guys standards and habits that live there that is being generous. The difference is my regulars arent all dolled up like the Classico Divas. Take off all of their getup and sexy heels, and they arent any more appealing than many of these other chicas still hanging in Rumbas.
Nowadays it's interesting seeing clearly the difference in how short visit vacationers operate vs the guys that live there full or part time. And the difference between being new to the scene vs being around a awhile and having more intel, knowledge and awareness of the scene and the chicas.

Took him long enough
A Haitian dude or a guy that appears to be Haitian, I met him maybe back in June. Very personable kind of guy. Speaks english very well. Cleancut I'm certain he told me he lived in the states. I suspect he was deported or had some issues, which is why he's in the DR. Everytime I see this cat he is all smiles, happy to see me. Acts like he wants to kick it with me. Seen him out and about on the strip. Sometimes stop to talk about the scene, experiences etc.
So he's built a certain rapport with me with his manner. This last time back, when he sees me he greets me, a little small talk, and then offers me some pills he's selling. I decline and keep it moving. I already had a yellow flag up on this dude when I first met him, because I see how many cats who live there operate. Especially if they speak english but that may not be their 1st language. But then that's universal, it's not just in the DR or Sosua. People up to no good, come at you like a friend, and later try to unleash their real purpose towards you.
Well this cat is no exception, and I was waiting for the moment he was going to try me, aside from trying to sell his pills. Were talking in front of the German restaurant next to "Haitian Station". Were talking about the scene, chicas this and that. Then when I'm about to exit from his presence, he starts off with an interjection which sounds like an apology for needing to ask me this next question. Then he starts off about him not getting some sort of check he was expecting. I don't know what it was, but I shot that shit down so fast, I even shocked myself. Caught his ass off guard, because as far as he was concerned, our comraderie as fellow mongers had opened the door for him to assume we were friends and that I liked him. And from that would likely be open to fulfilling a favor or a plea for a monetary loan.
Like I said, I shot that shit down before he could give me all of the unsolicited particulars of his circumstances. Told him, that aint going to happen. I further explained, I don't like no man approaching me for favors, loans or BS. He started the usual defensive protest saying it's not like that. Of course I told him that's exactly what it's like. Don't ever come at me with that fake friendship and being my buddy and within minutes asking for something.
With nowhere else to go, he reached out to shake my hand and told me he was sorry and bid me goodnight. Too bad, I kinda liked the guy. But I knew that shit was coming. Thats why I always steered clear of his prying and asking me for personal information. In fact, he still may present a concern overall because there is no telling how far he may be willing to go or has gone in setting a guy up with the aide of some of his partners in malevolent survival.

Ahhhh las Dominicanas!
Permission granted Surfer. I had gotten in big trouble once before posting photos under a different handle so a little apprehensive. My permission along with a crisp 50 bill is all you need, well seriously just the 50.
A few more shots for the boys. I like those classic athletic Dominicana bodies. There has to be a reason that 10% of Major League Baseball are Dominicanas.
Great pix amigo!
Gracias!
I've been hangin so much in Brazil that I forgot about the nice and sexy flakitas in the DR.
Thanks for the update!

If it's nothing why don't you have it. Now I tell all of them all I have is pussy and dick sucking money. And you don't suck dick do you? I love to see their responses.
Can anyone tell me if there is a dress code at Classicos now? I remember the no hats rule. Also are they charging chicas to get in? I thought they got in for free.
I don't wear hats, so can't comment in the hat thingy.
Everyone pays 200 pesos to get in the place. Seeing how most of the women can't afford the entry fee, they stay clear of the place.
Now, I was told by my buddy that lives there that the first 100 women get in free, however, I did not see this for myself. I went there twice, on Saturday night and one week day night, I saw a butt load of men both times.

The chicas gather in front of the pay window at Classicos I believe they start from 10:30 to 11 pm they pay 100 DOP for admission and 200 DOP afterward.

Hats?
Gents, it's hot out down there. Leave the stupid fucking hats at home. What's your message wearing them? Style? Classicos charges the putas a cover? Really? Stay away from this dump. Guys might pay a cover if the chicas are allowed in for free. Otherwise: sausage fest. Let's say you pay that cover, what do you get? A noisy, smoke filled ambiance with way more cock than pussy. Next, you leave to restore your lost hearing and breathe fresher, only mildly polluted street air outside. Just in time for that really nice PG rated movie they're showing on the now closed street. Fuck that shit. Town is a dump now. Just go to BB's or FOD. FOD blows these days but at least you know what you're getting going in and it's safer. I welcome contrasting comments. GEO.

Did he keep his head bald, he looked like he was in his 40's? About 5'7 5'8"? Medium brown complected? Like I said very personable. But then many Haitian dudes, beggars and touts have all mostly been personable. I guess that attribute is a Red Flag. LOL.
These guys kill me. He must have been sizing you up for a while. I had one asked me for five dollars. I told him I didn't have it. He said is just five dollars it's nothing. I love to see their responses.
No doubt he has been sizing me up. He has asked enough personal questions since the day we met. One would think those are innocent questions, and the info is going to be used to help or better himself down the road. For instance. He wanted to know where I stay. And of course how much I'm paying.
Overall he was trying to weave me into feeling comfortable with him. When I came back to town back in June he sort of acted like he was slighted because I never contacted him so we could hook up. My feeling is he is just an acquaintance, not really someone I can hang out with. My yellow flag of caution came up as I was sizing him up to why and how he ended up in the DR and Sosua particularly? And to be so young, too young IMO to be completely retired from work. So something about that and him didn't quite add up.
The other thing I pay attention to is the company they keep. I have seen this cat with other Haitian dudes that also give me cause for concern. One in particular I usually see perched on the railing at the closed bar next to the German Restaurant and across from Rumbas Restaurant. Always see a few of them walking together yakking it up. See them interacting with some of the Haitian chicas. So it's quite apparent there is a Haitian networking system in place. Just as much as there is a Dominican network, where the males and chicas are working hand in hand in a touristic environment.
Whats interesting to me is how many of these chicas act as if they are completely independent, but if you observe closely many of them have men and other chicas nearby that are looking after them for one thing or another. It could be their hired moto driver, her friend, husband or boyfriend. Or in the case of chicas, their mentor or teacher in the game.
Another guy pops in my mind. The Rosetta Stone Haitian guy. When I first came on the scene he was extremely polite and communicative. But his goal was to off his products to you, size you up to get money, food and gifts, not really be your friend. Now years later, he don't talk to me, looks straight through me to talk to whoever he is targeting. He may give me an obligatory knuckle to knuckle tap, but that's about it. He's this way now because I told him lo stop fronting and pretending friendship awhile back. Stop begging me for my leftover food, and asking for money one minute after saying hello. And please stop asking me to buy your RS products. I'm not interested. Of course, I also warned a ton of other guys about him, and I suspect he may have caught on that I was doing that. Potentially fucking up his hustle.
For instance, he may have had a guy convinced to buy something, but when the guy changed his mind, the RS guy probably charged it to me fucking up his business. Especially since he saw me talking to the guy. In fact that also goes for many of these chicas. When guys share intel and personal experience on these chicas, enough of them hate that. They don't want no client or potential client being advised on any negative experiences that somebody else had with them. Thats why I guess most of us laugh to ourselves when we see a guy go off with a chica we have intel on, later get the chance to talk to that dude, and his experience is similar to or worse than what you predicted would happen.
I guess we all look funny to each other, walking off with any chica out in public. I sat at the Premium Bar one evening, and watched a chica I've known, go back and forth from Rumbas with clients 4 or 5 times while I was sitting there. And that's just the ones I saw. There is no telling what she got accomplished earlier in the day or later that night. Thats not to say she worked all of those clients, but she seemed to be hustling a lot better than some of the other chicas up in Rumbas that looked like they turned into pillars of salt. LOL. Now from a guy that stays down there for several weeks at a time, potentially for months at a time, my interest is leaning more to getting with non pro chicas, that can offer more in terms of character and personality, GFE. But still save the p4p handy for when I want to indulge in sport fucking with some variety.

Contrasting comment

GEO.
My contrasting comment would be that mongers have different preferences for mongering venues just like they have different preferences for chica body types and personalities. I would avoid judging the monger who prefers thick over slim likewise some mongers prefer Sosua over Blackbeards because it is a matter of preference. As far as Classicos is concerned I have been on many nights when the ratio of men to women was 3-1, a buyers market especially during low season during the week. Smoking is prohibited inside Classicos, also some people like to dance whether it's hip hop or merengue Classicos plays it all throughout the course of the night. At the end of the day I am advocate of experiencing all mongering venues that are available and choosing the one that best fits my mongering style.
