I want to correct a mistake. The year I went to Kiev for the first time was 2015. Not 2014. In 2015,1 dollar = 22 uah. 700 uah was equivalent to 31 dollars. 1000 uah was almost $45.

Due to the war with Russia, the national currency suffered a massive fall. In 2013, UAH 1,000 was still $ 120. Then only 45 dollars by 2015. Prices in Ukraine are given in local currency. So suddenly everything was very cheap for us foreigners. Because the prices in UAH were only slightly increased during this period. Not doubled or tripled. The same goes for the girls' payment. Anyone who has paid the women in dollars beforehand will not have noticed this. But restaurants were suddenly very cheap. I can still remember a video by a black Kiev blogger. A fully set table in the restaurant on the Dniepr. "All of this for only $ 3".

Iphones and flights didn't get any cheaper. In the meantime, the inflation from then has been completely offset. Everything has become significantly more expensive.

Quarantine will be announced again in many cities for Ukrainians from Monday. Unvaccinated Ukrainians are officially only allowed to get on the coach or train with a test. Not even in restaurants without tests. But there are only a few young people who are vaccinated. Going out with the girls should then be a problem. Because you can't get in everywhere without problems. And sitting on the bench in front of McDonalds in freezing temperatures is no fun.

Been home a few weeks now after a 2 week working trip to Kyiv (my 2nd visit there) - thanks to everyone before me on the forum as the information, and debate here has been very useful. I wanted to share my experiences.

I'll post this in a few parts. This one is a run through of things I learnt, mainly using Mamba. I'm no expert. Unlike several on this thread. But I've picked a few things up I think would be useful for others.

Next will be how I got on with Apartments and lastly a review of the girls I met.

Quick comment up front though. To all the posters giving a glum view of Kyiv. This was not my experience. Not only a great city, but also a lot of great girls looking to meet up. You just got to put in the legwork to get there. You are not going to just walkup to a brothel without some preparation.

So 2 weeks before arriving I signed up to Mamba. Took some of the advice from a previous poster here with a suggestive personal message and selected as many cute under 28 yr olds as possible. Note: The app doesn't let you message anyone unless they have selected an age range for their search that covers your age. This creates a dilemma. Do you use an older age (say 45) and then any 20 yr matching pretty much already knows what you are after. But you miss matching with a lot of cute young girls who are only looking for an age range of, say, 18-35. Or do you use a younger age where you'll likely get a lot more matches / ability to message but you might make it harder for the 'right' girls to zero in on you with your motives. I chose an age that is close to my real age (hint, older). And it worked out fine for me. Although I did spend a lot of time (a LOT of time) swiping right. And had to let a lot of really nice girls slip through my fingers as the age ranges didn't match.

Also. Be careful with your text if chatting directly on Mamba (or Tinder for that matter) - if you solicit girls directly on the Mamba chat you'll end up having your account revoked and you'll lose your money. Better to move keep the chat within boundaries and aim to move the chat ASAP to another site. The girls who are interested also want to do this, you'll not get any resistance.

Tip #1 - get yourself on Whatsapp, Viber and Telegram before you leave home. All the girls are using one of those 3. When you pick up a local SIM from the airport (400 UAH for unlimited data for a month. Essential) then you can use this number instead of your home number which helps girls recognise you are in Kyiv and not talking to them from abroad. Viber also has a great built-in translation tool which makes it a lot quicker to use than the others.

Telegram involves either a number or an ID (eg " at xsomeonex") - If a girl gives you this without reference then you'll need to search for it on Telegram. You should also be happy to share your ID reference with others.

For an example of a simple chat on Mamba. I sent a 'wink' to a cute girl (18) who listed ages 18-80 for her search, and then added a message along the lines of "Hi, I'm going to be in Kiev in a few weeks time. Would love to meet you if you're around. Let me know " - and the response was " at Sweet* - straight up basically saying she wanted talk on Telegram.

Don't be shy in winking to everyone. Everyone. You like, and following this up with a message hinting at what you are after. Eg meeting up. Most will be unread, or read and ignored, but you'll get some hits if you try hard enough.

If you start a few weeks before arriving you might get something like this which basically is one to store away for later. Chances are you can have a meeting from this one you arrive.

- xxx winked at you.

- "Hi xxx. Love the photos etc".

- "Ok, when you come to Kyiv write to me".

- "Will do. Looking forwards to meeting".

- but be aware that it looks like a lot of girls on Mamba don't check the site very often so you might find the message you send back is ignored. Best plan is to have a LOT of these kinds of chats lined up so that you'll be able to realise a few on arrival. Cast the net wide.

I had a few who all sounded keen to meet. Then didn't reply at all while I was there, only to say Hello, again once I was back home. Sigh. What can you do.

So. You're now talking directly (either a girl or an agency. Hard to know).

Depending on the attitude you might get a first message, straight up like "Hi one hour 100 dollars all in a condom kiss massage is a good time <kiss " - that's word for word an example. Then followed by a selection of photos (although could be fake. More on this later).

Another. Me first.

"Hi xxx, its xxx here from Mamba".

"Hello" - followed immediately by several photos and.

"Meet 100 EU + Taxi 300 UAH, Oral Classic Massage Kissing 69".

Etc.

Others might be a little more reluctant to dive in and the chat starts a little less direct. But moves quickly. Eg (again a real chat) - first message from the girl.

- "Hello, Do you want to meet? Where are you situational geographically?

- "I'm in Kyiv, nr Olimpiysky. Would be good to meet. What is the offer?

- "I have a girlfriend, we can work together."

- "Can you please share soe photos?

A dozen photos arrive of both girls -.

- "Thanks. So what deal are you offering?

- "How much time do you want?

- "Lets start with 2 hours".

- "5000 UAH".

Etc.

Or alternatively. Me starting.

- "Hi xxx. This is xxx here from Mamba. Did I get the number correct?

- "Hello, nice to meet you smile".

- "and you also ".

- "So, meet for financial support good for you?

- "Sure, I'm happy to meet up. I'm arriving xxxx. What were you offering".

- "How many hours you want?

- "Lets start with 2, and see how it goes ".

- "2 h is 3500 UAH".

Etc.

So you can see it doesn't take long to move the chat where you want it to be, and often doesn't need you to make the first obvious move. Here is another example for a girl looking more for a sponsor than a 1 night stand. Expensive I know, but a very cute girl. No harm in seeing what was possible.

- Hi xxx, xxx here from Mamba. Hope I got the number right!

- Hi.

- Great. So I'm hoping you are around to meet in a few weeks when I'm in Kiev?

- How much?

- Depends but to spend time with a beautiful girl like you it would be worth it. What would you like to do?

- no I don't play like that I need specifics and promises.

- Ok 🙂 - for you to visit my apartment for some fun I can offer $150. I need to know your promises as well.

- If 250- ok?

- 200 and we can make some plans. I meant what are your promises for when you visit?

- I'm looking for a man on a permanent basis, how often do you come to Kiev?

Every few months. Work and covid depending. We can meet when I am in Kiev in a few weeks and see how it works. I'm happy to meet more often as well.

- Okay, but sex only with condom.

Etc.

Tip #2 - get an apartment. Use Airbnb, or a local site like Dobovo, but get yourself an apartment to yourself. Somewhere in the centre (Maidan probably best) where you can enter / leave at will without anyone else involved. Makes life a lot easier, and you can pick a good place for way way less $$$ than you'd pay for a midrange hotel room back home. No point in messing with hotels and potential problems with guest policies / walk of shame etc. Skip this see**p. However be aware that as much as these apartments are nearly always really good looking when you are inside, the buildings / lifts / stairwells etc outside are nearly always in a state of ruin / graffiti covered etc. Also I'm guessing there is a high risk of burglary as all the doors seem to be double / tripled bolted and the doors are a really thick! Just an oddity I've noticed here. No idea of the actual risks.

So you now in principle have some chats going on Whatsapp etc. Don't be scared here to dive into the specifics. Both in asking for photos and stating what you want. I've asked for photos with a comment like "Are you ok to share some photos as I'd like to avoid an awkward situation if you arrive and it not the same. It can save us both time". Most girls will do this, some will still share fake photos, but I found most to me were accurate, albeit obviously showing the girl in the best light, or maybe a little younger. I've also had some that have put a stop to the conversation when the photos have been a lot different than the Mamba ad. Better to ask up front.

As well as photos. Don't hold back to ask what you want from the girl when they arrive. Gives them the chance to ask for more $$ upfront, or to set their boundaries in advance. IF you don't clarify this upfront then be prepared for things to be more awkward on arrival. I only had 1 bad experience really with this. I'll share more in another post.

Note that in Ukraine, things like DATY, Kissing, CIM, OWO are *NOT* standard. Don't assume any of these are available unless agreed, and often cost more. I had a girl I met twice, she was drunk the first time and kissed with no concerns. 2nd time she asked for money to kiss.

Again some examples from my chats. Here my message first.

- "I like Oral without condom, French kissing, reverse oral and CIM. Is this ok?

- "Good 3100 UAH".

Or.

- ". Also please let me know if I can come on your face / mouth. I like to end this way".

- "Yes".

- "What would be your total for 2 hours to include the above".

- "2 hours 4800 UAH".

Or sometimes it doesn't go so well. - girl first this time.

- "Lets discuss more exactly, Classic, oral, 69 - 3000 UAH plus Taxi -good?

- "Oral without condom and Come in mouth. Is this ok?

- "Can't do this".

Or.

- "What does that include? I like Oral without, french kissing, 69, come in your mouth".

- "In my mouth no. Maximum on my boobs".

The girls are not shy to answer these questions. They deal with this a lot more than you do. So don't hold back to ask.

SCAMS.

OK. Along with the hits you also get a number of what I'm assuming are scams. Some examples.

1 - I don't live in Kyiv, can you pay for my fare to arrive.

My answer. I can cover this when you are here as part of the payment, but I don't want to be sending money in advance of meeting.

2 - "Well now I need some nice lingerie for you and to eat".

My answer. We can work on this once we meet. If things go well maybe we can go shopping the day after? You look great in your photso already.

3 - one girl sent a video of a suitcase and told me she was being kicked out of her apartment and could I help. I even had a message at 3 am saying she was on the street and cold. This was before I had arrived in Kiev. I'm hoping this was a scam else I feel bad for not helping. But hey, avoiding being scammed means taking a hard line to messages like this.

My answer. When I'm in Kyiv you can come and stay at my apartment if it helps. But I'm not here yet. I'll let you know when I arrive, hope you are ok.

Basically. Just don't send or spend money before, whatever the message. Hopefully people reading this already know this. Chances are it will not end well.

Anyways. Hopefully the above gives you an idea of what to expect. From all the work on Mamba (and don't discount the time you have to spend checking / swiping / winking etc. You have to put in the hard yards for this to be viable) you can get some great experiences, even on a short trip (although don't tell them this).

I'll share a post on my experiences with Apartments later. But again. Don't listen to the naysayers on this forum. I had no problems finding several operating, and had some great experiences. And next trip (Nov hopefully) I'm going to take this route even more I think, some really good looking girls available, and doesn't need as much effort upfront to get results.

Wow, this is great info. I tried Mamba once before my first trip but not this hard. Dating apps didn't exist when I was dating so I'm sure there's a learning curve I never fully grasped. I decided getting overcharged at the strip clubs was a lot less work and now that I look at it I'm only paying a small premium over your experience if at all. I latched on to one girl with whom I have really good chemistry. Costs me 8 k all night but I heard the price went up to 9 k in the last couple months. If you're paying 4800 for 2 hrs with exactly what / who you want we're practically paying the same price. I'm no good for two straight hours, three pops in an all night encounter is the absolute max these days. Two pops for me with your 4800 girl would cost me 9600 plus whatever awkwardness there is between romps.

The point of contention was not that good / average ladies are available for 100 $ or not for basic service but the fact that previous frequent travellers to Kiev have to pay NOW higher amount for this service which if I'm not mistaken was available for lower rates couple of years back. Most working ladies refuse or charge a lot for owo, DFK and any other extra services you might desire. Although dating and other platforms like mamba, tinder, badoo and what not are totally different ball games if you can separate the wheat from the chaff!

But if you come to Kiev for 10 years, 20 years or more, the differences from before are clear. Not just in terms of prices.

Before, you could go to a party in Kiev any day of the week. Disco every evening. And willing girls in every disco. Free or for little money. As a foreigner, you got into every club. There weren't any problems.

There's no party anywhere during the week today. The good locations for the weekend have become few. Many locations only let familiar faces in. As a foreigner, you can usually not get into the top clubs. You need good friends who live in Kiev and have been known there for a long time.

When I read that you received offers for 5000 UAh (almost $ 200). Then only for two hours and without extras, then for most people in this world there is no reason to go to Kiev for sex. For this money you can find women in every city in Europe. In the same class as in Kiev.

Many years ago, Kiev was known for girlfriend sex. You may have paid, but you didn't need to negotiate extras. 9 out of 10 girls fucked without a condom. What you call extras today was always included and completely normal. Mamba was also full of amateur girls. Not professionals.

What you describe and found on Mamba are professional hookers. Or brothels. That's the problem. There are now tons of brothel advertisements. Hiding behind some fake photos. The demands are excessive. And the few amateurs on Mamba are not as beautiful as they were in the old days. Quantity down. Quality down. Prices up. Extreme. Because even girls with a 5 on the 10th scale have their noses way up. And describe themselves as a top shot.

"That" is not the Kiev that everyone raved about years ago. And what you are describing is not "the" Kiev that I know from before. If you're from a country where hookers cost $ 500 an hour. Or where there are no hookers at all, then I agree with you. Then Kiev appears like paradise on earth. But $ 200 for 2 hours with a "5"? And not even girlfriend sex? No man has to travel to Kiev to do this. You can find it everywhere in Europe.

Instead he provided the best practice guide to succeed today.

The most useful report in a few months. I would even say since the pandemy changed the world, and the way girls of Kiev were forced to operate in new reality. And please don't tell me "Nobody cares about COVID in Kiev!" The change is obvious and it is not coincidental, but some things stayed the same. Beautiful young Ukrainian females keep selling their treasures.

You and I are living in the future. Some of the other guys are portraying a Kiev that does not exist. Sorry it just does not. There are girls, but most are very young and have little to no interest in older Foreign Guys.

Too travel long distances to not have girlfriend experience makes no sense.

You are correct there is zero nightlife. I remember most nights, with the exception of Friday the city would be empty at 10 pm. Even Friday nights the clubs would be horrible. I remember many nights were there would be a ratio of 15 guys to one girl. Those are impossible odds.

Sumner is a little different, but many leave the city for the beaches and villages. Sorry, Guys claiming see. Club is option are wrong. If you do not believe go check it out, you will be really disappointed.

Again, the guys that post now, do a great job of describing the real Kiev. The truth is slowly coming out about Ukraine.

From what I saw few months back in Kiev most working girls offer only basic service and there are no options for extras- at least that's what I got after ringing 25+ bordellos, brothels, salons and the likes. This is disappointing. You can make dummy account on telegram and hide your number and contact as many salons and you can verify that. As Ukraine nationals got visa free access to EU many Kiev ladies / salons moved their operations to other EU countries that was not possible before. But in my unbiased opinion if you have some cash to burn there are some really talented 'devushkas' in Ukraine and if you are long term visitor or rich guy this can work out for you bearing in mind if you can handle scam ladies.

P.S.- I was in touch with 2 scam girls previously mentioned by member here that operate out of the scam restaurant in Pechersk district. Watch out guys! Thanks for the heads up dude.
