First timer in Thailand. Not yet!

I have noticed that almost nobody talks and report his encounters with the escort sites available.

I thought of few reasons :

1- the cost is higher maybe.

2- it is forbidden to name sites on this panel. Although some body was talking about escortgold.

3- it is not as interesting as to go around and find yourself what you want and there are plenty as I found out from the members.

Something else draw my attention that, assuming that the pictures on the escort sites are almost true with some Photoshopping, there is

A big difference in beauty from the ones on the street and the night clubs and this clear also from the pictures taken and uploaded.

I am not sure the reason why but I have my theories. But the vast majority of picts here are of very average to not at all good looking girls. The freelancers are admittedly not great like they used to be but there are still a fair amount of good looking girls in go-go bars which will cost you about 50% what an escort does (the girls get 50% of that fee BTW). Of course go to any mall in Bangkok and you will see more beautiful girls in ten minutes than you will see in a week in the go-go bars. Thailand has the most beautiful women in the world but sadly very few of them are in the business any more.

There is an entire section in this Thailand forum on escort agencies. Did you look?

I know it can seem overwhelming for a first timer. But like others have said, come here first for a day or 2 and figure things out. You can always call one of those agencies later. But I will bet you decide against unless your are truly lame.

The girls on those agency sites are not sitting at home watching TV waiting for your call. They are working in bars, FL, or maybe even the street. Many of them are on several sites. They make 3 to 4 times as much with your call.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been to Thailand and PI several times, so I have some experience. Not 100% green. Still, had a bit of a situation today which kind of made me rethink some of my assumptions regarding bar girls. Particularly in BKK. Would greatly appreciate some feedback from more experienced BMs.

Barfined a gorgeous girl at one of the Nana gogos. She was by far the most energetic and affectionate at the bar. And certainly not shy, to put it mildly. Another customer was buying her a drink after drink, but she saw me checking her out and sent a message through another girl that the customer she is with never barfines and that if I wanted to barfine her, she was very willing to go. I did just that (she was HOT) without really interviewing her . Probably spent only 3 mins or so talking to her in the bar, most of which involved an impromptu lap dance- she never even asked for a ladies drink.

Once we left the bar she started acting way more distant. I suggested we go to one of the stalls on Sukhumvit and get some food and drinks. She didn't really react in any way. However. 5 mins later when we were passing one of the stalls she said she was hungry and asked if we could eat. I of course said OK. She ordered, never even asking me what I want. After a few mins, catching my WTF look the waiter approached her, said something in Thai and she asked me if I was hungry. At least someone is paying attention.

While we were eating, one guy walking by started a conversation with her. Apparently they've been together about a year ago. This I have absolutely no problem with. So here's my question. This is the first time I've ran into such a hardened bargirl that seemed completely normal at the bar. I've also been under impression that being a bar girl was a short-term gig for most and that the rest become so obviously hardened that it's hard to miss it in the bar. Was that impression wrong? Just how many guys does a typical bargirl normally go with during her career? And do all go-gos have quotas that the girls have to meet? Or is it just a Nana Plaza phenomenon?

Not really concerned about the sunk cost. It was only 800 baht (600 for barfine. 200 for food). Just kind of had my mind blown regarding just how "used' some of these bargirls really are. Is this a Bangkok-only or Go-Go only phenomenon. Or is it the same way everywhere and some girls are just better at lying about it.

Compare this to oil message and probably a lot of escort escort photos where completely fakery is fairly routine. Even the most glamorous women in the world, while they're generally not usually photo shopped per se to the extent its fakery, they are generally photographed at very select angles, favorable lighting conditions, with special airbrushing, and (given circulation pressures) with magazine covers reaching very close to the outright fakery level.

Even Miss Universe finalists I have to wonder what many would look like with the same photo conditions that one typically sees on this site. Yes, still very hot, but not quite the same.

Given that prostitution in New York is at least a class B Misdemeanor, it is no surprise that New York is not visibly "overflowing" with prostitutes.

And although in England prostitution per se is not illegal, it is an offence for a person persistently to loiter or solicit in a street or public place for the purpose of prostitution: in other words, street prostitution is prohibited. London has its share of prostitutes , but they do not "overflow" the streets.
