I've spent over 50 nights at CC in the last 8 months and don't remember there being any pool parties. There have been some loud and disrespectful guests at times but most of the time it is a quiet and mellow place. There was one time when a group of ten guys stayed there and pissed everyone off back in May, but usually its pretty quiet. You can't beat the place for the price, location, or food as far as I am concerned.

It's good to know that there's another good place that I can stay at.

But when you have your own tout (your so-called LP) constantly begging you every week for money, you are just as much a target as anyone else. No chica could be in contact with you to beg like that, unless you opened the door to facilitate that. Like the man said, hustlers and chicas. You've had interactions with your hustler/chica to the point you know her name, had interactions at your table, and heard all the long stories of shit she laid on you. Classic example of one who could look in the mirror and see they are talking about themselves without realizing it. Likewise, I don't blame her either for treating you like a mark and keep begging you for money. It doesnt matter if you comply or not. The point is you put yourself in that position to be approached like that. No different than anybody else having hustlers and chicas trying to get over daily. Whether they get anywhere in the hustle thats the key. If you end up sending a hustler $200 for services you havent received yet, I'd say they did a good job in their hustle. So it's obvious, where you stand on the issue depends on where you sit.

An ex-pat friend of mine has organized at least three pool parties at Casa Cayena over the past year, one of which I attended on one of my rare visits to Sosua. But they were all invited guests only, low key affairs, about a dozen guys and a dozen haitianas, all putas but not the extrovert hardcore sorts you meet on Pedro Clisante. No loud music or sex in the pool and definitely no videos allowed. And I think he said Wilfried no longer welcomes such events.

Theres a lot of girls I meet on Facebook and other social networks (Even on the beach) that you would not see walking around in Sosua Bars like Classicos / Rumbas. No big deal, but the way he researches 3 year old posts to come up with his arguments can have a chilling effect on boards such as this where we try to be as honest as possible, and admit our flaws, weaknesses and mistakes.

I don't respond to his original posts, as I respect his right to his own views, but I'll be damned if I'll let him post lies about a situation and people he knows absolutely nothing about.

With that being said, I'm not entertaining anybody trying to control my right to express my pov and / or give feedback to what I disagree with in someone elses. I can see we got a little boys club going on here. And its one of the reasons I was advised in private why some vets stop posting in this forum. My suggestion to anyone having a problem is to learn how to cope, and change your reaction. Not try to come in here Don Kinging on a message board.
