First, it is a shame that no one has given Tomjackin the respect he deserves for taking his time to support us with a great report and pictures, that's what this forum should be about. Few guys do what he does.

As far as Wrx2005, I think he does take too much time over-evaluating situations, and he should have more fun while while on vacation. With that said I also think he is good about calling out some of the BS on this forum. He does give detailed and interesting daily reports on his activities while in the DR. They are honest (maybe he does have problems with girls standing him up) and factual (Sure he doesn't like being hustled). But how many guys give you the good and bad nowadays?

What I like about Wrx2005 is that he can match wits with guys who think they are the most intelligent guys on the board who never give trip reports or pictures. We have guys who have never given reports or pictures who have been on this board for ten years but claim to be experts. My life of travel and fun has been an open book, and so has WRX. Oldkool, Oakie and Tomjackin and others have room to vent because they give back.

Look, WRX is right, we have gotten soft and maybe its good that he stirs the pot because we have guys running to the WU every month, guys falling for the first chica that says "hola popi", and guys swear they have a girlfriend because they give her money. Sosua has become hardcore from the chicas to the street hustlers, we need a guy every now and then who can be hardcore from our side. Many Sosua vets have left Sosua because Sosua is a new man's game and the old heads have moved on to better spots. Everyones opinion is accepted here even if its something some don't want to hear.

Thanks for writing your interesting trip report. Good to see you had a nice time despite some rainy weather. Headed back first week in December after just getting back a little over a week ago. It sure does help things having a few go to girls in the old black book. Mixed in some new friends and I think makes for a nice combination over there.

Cell Phone:

I went back to Orange and my SIM card was no longer valid. I had to buy another for 100 pesos. I put 400 pesos of minutes on the card, which was plenty enough.

Food:

Besides eating at Casa Cayena, I ate at other spots. I had the ribs at the Scandinavian place on the beach. They were the best ribs I've ever had in Sosua! I ate at Movida twice, great pasta! I also ate at several food tray places, like at Rumba's and a couple down the road; all were very good. Ollie's is one of my favorite places, but it was closed the entire time. I did try the pizza at Terra Linda, I did not care for it at all. Others rave about it; so be it.

The Beach:

It rained hard the first few days and Herman's was closed; fucked up my whole beach routine. I did make it out for Saturday and Sunday, and there was a fair share of women looking for work. Not as much as previous trips, but still a fair share nevertheless.

The Changes:

Rumba still had the best game in town; but the girls came out later than usual. Classicos was open, but wanted a 200 peso entrance fee. Everyone pays 200 pesos to get in the place. Seeing how most of the women can't afford the entry fee, many stay clear of the place.

Now, I was told by my buddy that lives there that the first 100 women get in free, however, I did not see this for myself. I went there twice, on Saturday night and one week day night, I saw a butt load of men and not enough women both times.

Rumor on the streets was that the'Latin would reopen in 2-3 weeks. I think that if the'Latin reopens, it will be the demise of Classicos; just my uneducated guess.

Fucking Rumba and their music:

I was hanging with Brother P for a few nights, and the last night I was there, Brother and I sat at a table to watch the women come and go. For 2 fucking hours, there was not ONE Latina song played. Every fucking song was proud to use the "and" word, over and fucking over again! OK, off my soapbox.

Women:

It really helped to have established contacts. I spent some time with a few new girls, but also some time with my previous girls. Sosua was not dried up, as some would have you believe. There are still plenty of girls available. Some are asking for 2000 for short time, but many are still going with 1500. It is still a buyer's market.

Final thoughts:

This was my 14th trip in less than 4 years and I watched this place with its ups and downs. Some places are closed while enough places are still open to provide a good assortment of chicas. Friday and Saturday nights were off the hook concerning the number of women that were available. This place still is one of the best values in the world, and also, if you make connections, it is a great place to come back to on a regular basis. For about $750 Nolitours can get me an all in package at the Casa Marina on the beach, which still gives me lots left over for a room in town when I need one. The wristband thing is a drawback. Any advice?

I decided that the last day in Sosua I would spend with my favorite SD girl. Before she arrived, Herman cooked up some steaks, which we enjoyed with some red wine from Chile. I was in the water when SD girl arrived and Herman directed her in my direction. Later while sitting at the door at Rumba, I turn around and there were two girls standing behind me. One of them was fucking hot! I reached back and grabbed her hand, brought her over, and bought her a beer. She was from SD and only 19 years old; I fell in love! I was completely drained out of leche but I had to take my own advice, that I sometimes give other mongers. My advice? Never get on that plane with any regrets! Never have to say or ask,"I should have, I could have, or Why didn't I" statements or questions.

I told her my leche dilemma and she laughed, but I assured her that my tongue was ready to report to duty. I also told her that I would lick her until one of us passed out; she laughed again. "The Women:

Because the trip was to focus on Spanish, I contacted several women on Latin American Cupid. The ones I contacted had no English speaking skills. This does take time and a lot of effort. Three of the four women I met online, we had conversations on Skype prior to my arrival. The women were all in their mid-thirty's. Out of the four women I met, three of them ended up in my apartment for rack operations. I did ask for David's help for the first night so I could focus the days thereafter. David's friend arrived on time she was a wonderful girl. She came by and after playtime, I took her to Tanta for a late dinner. Thank you so much David!

Surprise number one:

Miss Timid told me on Skype that she had a surprise for me on Saturday, and then another on Sunday. Both surprises required me to wake up before noon; dammit! We took a taxi to San Isidro and went to El Cascajal restaurant. It was a large place and the buffet was all the local food that Lima had to offer. The restaurant also had a band and quite a good show to boot.

There were two couples sitting near our table. During the announcements, one of the dudes went on stage and then asked his date to join him on the stage. The dumb bastard dropped to one knee and asked his date to marry him. I wanted to stop him; but I was too late! A tad later, I called over the mesero and told him I wanted to buy the happy couple some drinks. Miss Timid said that maybe the couple might not want the drinks; WRONG! After they received the drinks, they both got up and came to our table for hugs, kisses, and photos.

Surprise number two:

After Miss Timid told me to bring my sunglasses, we took a taxi to San Isidro and then we got out of the cab and started walking; she walked, I just followed. Then, we get into a secret taxi and headed out on some highway. I was told to would be an hour ride. About halfway there, I got curious and asked her where in the hell were we going. She told me that we were going to where she lives. Wait a fucking minute! I remembered she lived with her parents! FUCK ME TO TEARS! My very own meet the parents movie?

We stop and some complex in Chodarayo, entered the security gate, and took yet another private car up the hill to her house. Papa was in the front yard and gave a very nice greeting, and another nice greeting came from Mama in the house. Hell, I had to use every damn Spanish word that I could remember during the multiple conversations. Papa helped! He whipped up a batch of Pisco Sour; which I needed badly! Papa also cooked up my favorite dish, Aji de Gallina; which was excellent! As we were all eating on the front porch, Papa broke out a couple of bottles of wine; I liked that dude!

Later, Miss Timid and I took a bus ride to Chosica. This is where we found another secret taxi to head back to San Isidro. It was apparent that many people flocked to Chosica because the place had sunshine! It being a Sunday night, it seemed the whole country was headed back to Lima. The traffic sucked! It took almost three hours to get back. As I was saying goodbye to Miss Timid, she mentioned she wanted to see me the next weekend. Two days without a hand on my penis; wasn't about to happen again! All that being said, it was still an overall good experience.

La Iglesia:

One of my Cupid dates, we only had e-mail contact and we started texting after I set up my phone. She texted that she wanted to meet in Parque Kennedy. I asked where in the park, and she told me INSIDE the church. Why in the fuck did it have to be INSIDE the church? I thought to myself, hell, I've been to Mogadishu, Kuwait, and Iraq; how much more dangerous can a church be? Just take baby steps!

I got to the church, but the first obstacle were the stairs. I braved up and conquered those bastards. Stepping through the big doors was the next obstacle; I was feeling cocky at this point and walked right on through! FUCK! I'm INSIDE the church and still alive! No explosions, lighting strikes, nothing! There was a service / mass going on and holy water was flying at will.

There was a line of people on my right and they were waiting to take their turn in this funny looking black box. My first thought, "Glory Hole? Hell yeah!" I was about to jump in line until I found out people were confessing their sins in this box. Fuck that! Hell, it would take at least a month for me to confess my sins, and I had a date, so I did not have the time anyhow. My date spotted me and waved. I wanted to yell, "Get the fuck over here before something horrifying happens!" But I didn't. We got the fuck out of there in a hurry!
