I have difficulties understanding this scenario.

There are no taco stand in front of HK's front door on Coahuila with a row of taxis or HK's back door in the alley. HK's bouncers and security guys have to stick very close to the doors to do their jobs. They would never wander away to the taco stand at the corner.

Street girls would not be welcomed to solicit where people stand and eat their tacos. Tacos guys would shoo them away. A couple guys would hang out in that corner and tout for mermaid Massage or the & see bar, but pimps for street girls would never show their faces anywhere, much less soliciting for their girls since it's illegal. It just does not work that way in Tijuana.

A few beggars may be pestering people for money. Just ignore them. If they persist tell them you would call policias, or tell the tacos guys to get rid of them.

Fist fights, scuffles and brawls happen sometimes in front of Hong Kong. Don't start fights but you have the rights to defend yourself. Best thing to go to HK's security guys for protection and witnesses. They are employed to protect clients and are good at it. Just tip them for the hard jobs they have to do. If policia squeeze you, tell them you are willing to go to the policia station nearby to explain the situation to the judge. It's only 2 small block North West of HK. Polciia stations have judges in site 24/7/365. They are not all bad, a lot more fair than the stupid, greedy Municipal Policias.

Also hide your money and keep only a small amount in your wallet. If policias find no money in wallet, they will not search you for more. If you act weak, they will bluff you out of all your money.

From what I gathered from the other American who spoke perfect Spanish next to me, the police were conflicted on what to accuse me of? So it started with them accusing me of being drunk, then that didn't fit. Then the fighting thing is where I believe it ended up? Honestly though, when I go back, I'm over the clubs. My experience the next day with Musas girls, in the leisure of my own nicer hotel / room, for even cheaper rate, with just as hot of girls was way better. No comparison in my eyes. I agree with your assessment of the clubs. I stopped going to the sewer of the Zona Norte long ago. Now only de vez en cuando. But since this was an impromptu visit I only had my regular wallet and didn't want to leave it in my car that was parked at Ross. Only had a 5 minute wait at the border and made it back to Ross literally minutes before it closed.

I was stressing out for sure. Would have had to call my card companies and cancel everything plus would have had to report passport card lost and replace it also. Drivers license, Such a headache and such a bone headed move to not have immediately placed my wallet back in my pocket. Just thought I would share the story in case someone else happens to lose their wallet as a possible solution. For a second I thought of just chalking up the loss and crossing back into the US without my wallet, thank god I waited.

I was afraid they may have a "moral" angle to the right to get global entry card.

Should I be scared of telling them I was hanging out at Hong Kong or staying in Cascadas?

Anyone else had issues with global entry card after repeated visits to Tijuana for mongering. Question especially to frequent visitors.
