Guys,
Planning to come down for the first time to BKK. Would be nice if anyone could give his two cents as to which one is better. Nuru or soapy. I am anyways going to go for the FS option. Possibly with two at one go. Which are the better places for both? I am anyways going thru the tons of material posted on the forum

I recommend doing Google searches on Bangkok oily massages, soapy massages and nuru massages. I think a more important issue is where you're going to go to find a massage. Are you going to go to Ratchadaphisek (Ratchada to locals) or around Sukhumvit? In a nut shell, the venues on Ratchada are bigger and fancier and cater to Asians. The ones on Sukhumvit are smaller and grungier and cater to farang mongers. Most guys think the sex is better at the shops on Sukhumvit. My advice. Stick to Sukhumvit if it's your first time, unless you have enough time to go to both areas. Off of Sukhumvit you can go to Annie's for a soapy. There is an entire thread devoted to Annie's on this fine forum. Read the posts over the past few months. Strictly speaking, there is a difference between a nuru and a regular oil massage. I think the biggest difference is you get charged more for a nuru. Again do a Google search on nuru massage. I'm trying to make up my mind of whether to go to BKK or Philipines (or both?). I've tasted BKK a while ago. While it was generally a nice experience, I found most of the girls very plain looking. Sadly, I'm attracted solely to model types: very slim, young (18-23) , fresh gorgeous face a must, playful attitude, some English (as my Thai is non-existent). I read once on this forum that a this exists, but would appreciate the wisdom of the experts.

If success don't expect your travelguide to be very professional as many girls in dia and in general in BKK comes from the ricebelt (northeast of los) and hardly know more of BKK than anyoneelse new to the city.

If you can get stunners in the rest of the world you can also get them in Bangkok. Same same just different country and city. But you have to be attractive, young and fairly handsome to get them for free I guess.

I'm not looking to be fluent, just enough to travel around LOS for a couple months and be able to find my way to the bathroom and stuff like that. Just very basic conversations. I'm coming in about 2 weeks and staying through Songkran. My current abilities are about four words and I think a bit more would be handy.
