My first time to monger in Hongkong. Checked out Sands as it was near my hotel. Lots of Saunas in the area but chose this one as the facade looks safe and classy. Two girls at the lobby welcome you and guide you to an elevator that will bring you to the second floor. You pay at the counter $350HKD for a straight (?) 90 minute massage. I can see other "options" in their "menu" but it was in chinese characters and didn't bother to ask. You are brought to a locker where you leave your things... you go naked wrapped in a towel to the showers and you have the option to dip in a cold or hot pool. After the initial rituals, they take you to a waiting lounge where they sit down in a reclining chair as you enjoy a drink. After 15 minutes or so, you are then lead to the massage room with the pretty (but 30ish) masseuse waiting. The massage tables are pretty big with holes for your face as you lay down. However, the windows on the room doors looks like bad news for mongers. But mid-way during the very good massage, I asked the girl for what other services she offers... in hand signal, she motioned "hand job" and "blow job" but told me I should have informed the counter beforehand so that I will pay for the proper rates. But a legit massage for $350 is good enough reward. Will probably go back for the real action next time.

I'd say 90% of the girls have signs in English. It would say "WELCOME" or "PLEASE RING BELL" on one side and "BUSY" on the other. These signs are usually printed by the people who run the 141 websites.

The signs may contain English, but don't expect them to speak it.

Even if the sign says WELCOME, sometimes the girl won't answer. They may shout something like "dil tou ah", which means "turn around". Maybe they're busy eating lunch or on a phone call and forgot to flip the sign. And since you're gweilo, there are some girls who won't answer because they don't service Westerners (they can see you on CCTV). It's rare for them to refuse business from a non-Chinese but you will definitely encounter it if you ring enough doorbells.

The bottom line is, do not be afraid to ring the doorbells. I know it can be intimidating, and I used to be intimidated too when I first started mongering at the 141 complexes. But these girls didn't spend thousands of dollars on rent to be left alone. They want patrons to ring because they need business. For every girl who won't service a Westerner, you'll find ten who would.

I think it's silly to rely on photos and ads from the 141 websites. Part of the fun is ringing the doorbells randomly and seeing who's inside. The manner in which they open the door usually reveals how they'd perform. Some will aggressively give a sales pitch. Others would have that "what the fuck do you want" look on their faces. So it's a great way to gauge their attitudes before you commit.

Even if I think the girl is acceptable, I would usually feign disinterest, give a smile, and start walking away. If they try changing my mind, there's a good chance she'll be a good performer. If they don't try changing my mind, hey, that's also good because I didn't waste my money on a non-performer.

Went to 37D 1-st floor for the first time on Saturday, wanted to compare it with K-Pressure. Rooms are smaller, no water bed, but I guess it all depends on a girl, doesn't it? First lineup of girls was not that impressive, so I asked to see more. The second one was even less interesting, but I picked one and off we went upstairs. I've read of that also. I look like too much of a tourist as it is. I don't think I''ll print out anything to carry around with me. Maybe I'll make note of a few girls in a pocket notebook and ring some random bells also.

Noticed for the last few weeks that places like Fenwick are very quiet even between Thurs. Sat no matter what time you go. Lots of girls but places are not buzzing anymore.complete lack of people. It was my first time to Coronet Court in North Point. It's about 2 blocks from the North Point MTR Station. You get to the 1st floor by walking up from the mini-mall on the ground floor or you can take the elevator (but don't trying walking down from the 2nd floor; doesn't connect).
