Just as an FYI, I visited a second Yoshiwara soapland while on my trip to Japan (was there a month ago). The girl I did there gave me her business card w/the URL of her home page. I enjoy my trips to Tokyo, but since I'm from the U.S., I do miss the sports when I'm there. Anyone know which hotels or sports bars carry U.S. basketball and football? I would also like feedback on the best hostess bars for gaijin. Nice to be able to have some simple conversation and companionship during the evenings. One of my semi-regular esutes which is a 15 minute walk from Tokyo Tower is under new management (again). Akasaka has a lot more business man and they tend to put up with less of the bait and switch. The shibuya area has a lot more tourists that will try just about anything. However, if you get away from the massagi girls, there are a lot more available, if you speak japanese.

Sorry to disapoint you Sebastian -- the same tricks apply. However, I have a decent one or 2 times up on the hill -- in the slack times you can generally bargain down a bit.
