Any better alternatives?[/QUOTE]I guess Greyhound because you can buy a round trip ticket LOS Angeles to San Ysidro (Greyhound stop is right at the pedeast border crossing.) Amtrak Santa Fe station is in downtown San Diego and you have to take a trolley to San Ysidro (45 min.) or Uber. Flixbus I don't know.
Comic con convention this weekend in San Diego, 130 000 attendees. Even Motel 6 is around $300/ weekend night!
I heard a lot of good things about the Flix bus.

Another is I go down during high traffic times so the train makes more sense. I get Business class so I have a lot of space, get free drinks (beer, wine), and can walk around if needed. The internet isn't reliable, but the power connections are good. The view on the second half of the trip is nice (along the ocean). It's not ideal having to switch to the San Diego trolly, but it's not too bad either. Get off the Amtrak, go across the street, and Blue line should come within 10 minutes.

I probably even use it Friday and just sleep in the car because it's very time consuming to go out at night in San Diego if you have to be up and working at am in San Diego but trying to stay in Mexico. Today the line was an hour walking with sentri.
Miramar Airshow is back this year, damn the CoVid.
A couple guys would go down spend the day at MCAS Miramar watching the airshow then sneak over to Tijuana partying all night.

Have a trip to Tijuana coming up soon. Have heard of HKs nickel and diming recently. Seems all the big bars do in Zona North do it to some extent.
Was wondering if La Cueva del Peluda is worth a trip? Any talent recently at the smaller bars?

Went to club amnesia for 1st time as I was broke, bored, not wanting to drink. So I went exploring. This place is a block south of Pulgas on revolution, so it's south of all the revolution bars. It's huge inside, looks like a high end American strip club. Being weekend, maybe that's why they wanted 8 dollar cover, but you get free drink. There was only 2 guys in the club though, a lot of woman. Many looked very good. Beer is 3 $, 10 for the girl, or 20 30 you have to tell her what to get if you don't want to be paying 20 or 30 for her drink. The girl offered lap dance in the private room. If her ficha had been better I would of done it but I was more worried about her begging for $ after the lap dance as she may claim the 20 is for the house. I should of asked her what she was going to need for tip. Sex was 150 including a room of some sort. I guess this place is good alternative if you don't want to feel like your competing with 300 guys from LOS Angeles in HK on weekends. Although won't save any $. Just more relaxed place.
Most of the erotic massage parlors charge anywhere from $40-$60 in Czechoslovakia for some really hot girls. Now mind you in many cases this a 1 hour price. Seeing the F-22 doing its high maneuverability is quite a sight. I have seen it do a complete 360 degree turn within 200 feet radius, at low speed, 500 ft above Miramar runway, likely using exhaust thrust vectoring. It was floating and turning around in a tight circle, a very gutsy maneuver since there is no altitude to recover if there is a slightest error. In high speed tt can do super cruise at Mach 1. 8 without after burner, carry ni internal bay 6 AARAMs plus 2 Side winders, or 2 sidewinders plus 2 1,000 lbs JDAM bombs, plus a 30 mm internal cannon.
The alleged stealthy Su-57 is nowhere near a match knowing it was knocked down by MANPAD missiles in Ukraine. It's not stealthy if the tiny MANPAD radar can lock on and shoot it down.
