It is not about race. It is about nutrition. In Arequipa Peru I worked with this; children does not get milk and loses brain development that is hard to repair. Rolos are also, while being ugly / read fat / girls, like US girls; it's all about the career, while paisas focus on getting financial support from Swiss traditional assistance, local and federal programs, extranjeros and "amigos", and still the biggest influx of "net net" narco dollars.

Cartagena is a traditional place for all types of groups and individuals, Colombias Nassau (Black Sails). There will always be a mix of everything. And the heat kills you. The clubs have a concentration of the All 10's in Boca Grande and Laquito, but you only stay for a few days, while a month in Medellin compensate by far for that; you find the same girls for half the price at last and stay with them. Cartagena are for shorttimers, like going to Las Vegas.

Cali. It surprises me. They are more horny and liberal than paisas, but it's to hot. Medellins average 25 see degree year -round, makes it so much more comfortable. Still; Cali and calenas are The capital of salsa and it's much easier to get a calena into a date or payed sex than a paisa. Maybe just a trend that guys in Cali have lost the publishing fight against the Medellin guys.

Medellin are surpassing Rio de Janiero fast. Which was the party / sex capital for half a century! And there are superhot girls, but the 14% Central bank interest rate makes the overvalued Real Rio a no-go place. Even if the garotas truly are even much better lovers and much more relaxed than paisas who demand luxury for free! With a 30-40% natural fall of the Real, Rio will be back. And Help also!

30,000 mile tires, $360, so about $6.50 of tire wear.

I use Mobil-1 15,000 mile oil, $40 inc oil change, so about $1.40 there.

I haven't got a ticket in about 10 years. Last accident was 1993 ish.

Car's a 2002 with 145,000 m, another 500 m won't make much of a diff there.

The problem for me would be the 3 to 4 hour drive at the beginning and end of my trip. I'd rather pay a couple of hundred dollars more to avoid that.

Also, free meals on the flights. Their prices change often, but that is the price right now for flights most of next month.

Just returned from Medellin. Beautiful city and beautiful women.

I used the PDF with the casas. The map didn't work on my phone. It was very helpful and with uber being so cheap we could go wherever with no problem. Of the cheap casas my favorite was new life. Both times I went there was a large selection of girls that were very attractive with solid rooms. The location is very seedy but the cafe next door has good WiFi so it was easy to uber out afterwards.

Botero is definitely a shady area. I was solicited aggressively by 3 girls who couldn't have been more than 14 years old in broad daylight there. Pretty sad. Worth going to that Plaza once but I'd never go back. Seeing my uber pull up was quite the relief.

Energy is closed by 6 on Sunday. There is a_? Down for the Sunday time in the pdf. We stopped by around 545 on Sunday afternoon and they were definitely closed.

Fase 2 was a rip off imo. Drinks were ridiculously priced. It was essentially the same experience you get in a Florida strip club.

Also, there are tons of hookers walking around Lleras. In many cases they aren't flaunting it but me and my friend also enjoy hitting on women and in most cases the women we were attempting to pick up ended up asking for money after a while. We had a nice airbnb around Calle 10 a that I'd highly recommend (you can pm me for info on that) and both brought girls back for a decent price (their 200 k asking price dropped quickly with negotiation).

Overall a good trip.

I was in Fase II tonight and this was my first experience with any "attitude" on the part of women, no matter their place in the society. They were distant, sullen, minimally approachable, and either conceited or intensely insecure. Little or no interest in navigating interaction with a foreigner, even though my Spanish is not that horrible. Very unusual behavior it seemed. Maybe they don't want to be working Semana Santa. If so they should stay home. I don't know what it costs to take a girl up at Fase II, but there was no way I was paying it without a little effort on their part. Its too bad because I had a pocket full of money. There were only a few girls attractive enough to be asking for more than 40 or 50 mil anyway.

Like some guy living in New York wants to have holidays in Honolulu, so he stops over in Tulsa to buy food to bring there, because it's cheaper. Savvy way to limit expenses.

However, if one wants a cheaper girl in CTG, there are millions of people living in 50 km radius from Cartagena, Reloy. Plenty of opportunities without flying someone there from Medellin (I assume he does not really love that girl met in Veracruz).

I am thinking now that years ago I did exactly the opposite, and for 3 years in a row. In MDE for work a couple of weeks, I invited there a girl from her hometown few hours from Cartagena, to spend with me at Sheraton 3 days of holidays in Medellin (agreement: "I pay you the flight, you are my guest, we also go buy some better clothes, I treat you as my novia, and thus I don't pay you. The change has been enourmous.

That's why, after 2002-2014, Medellin has been falling back into it's usual habits.

All that construction that has going on the last decade are solid, until 2013/14, that is buit on speculation.

I never seen prepagos in masses around Parque Lleras as described, since that kind of activity was only accepted in La Mayorista under police survaillance.

Now, with the economy falling apart, police, social authorities, loans, projects can't stop the bubble to bursting.

That can, would mean an fantastic place for a monger; asking price for a hot babe 200, real price 100 (US $35). Negative and dangerous is the under 18 girls. Check her ID before sex.

At Luna Lunera you are not obligated to sit in the dark area. You should have used your not so bad Spanish to ask for the girls to present themselves in a lighted area, like the rooms. I've had no problems seeing the girls but I always sit near the cashier. The dark part of the bar with the lights and stripper pole is all designed to get you to pay for nothing of value (lady drinks, lap dances, etc.).
