This is a blog to help future travelers to AC. But it also serves to help past travelers such as I, who are now stuck in the Land of the Hippos (ie the USA), to relive my memories of a place I love as much as AC.
I am stuck here with no sex, and herds of 300 lb hippos, but a mind full of AC memories, and an inquenchable urge to be back in AC. Thus I have lotsa stories and opinions to share about AC.
Do you know retiree bars in AC? There is one a few stores down from the Dollhouse. There are 20 retirees there everyday drinking beer. I bet they are chatting about war stories (most are military veterans I bet), but also about their war stories in the sack with the young pinays.
Just because I am thousands of miles away doesn't mean I can't chat about my war stories and opinions of AC. It isn't Bola Bola. It is opinions based on fact. When I am in AC I don't tell any stories about my sexual exploits in the USA. That's because they all are 20+ years old from when I was in college. Since then the women get bigger, and my wallet doesn't grow fat enough to attract the young hotties anymore.

I used Swagman Fly the Bus (usually a van) to Ermita with an 8 am departure. The hotel staff seemed wary of F the Bus. It seems that on at least one occasion they didn't make a pickup.
In the end there were only two passengers. Traffic wasn't too bad and it took about two hours. Killed time by having lunch at the Swag restauarant. Swagman Hotel seems to have been renovated. But waitress was a bit dull. Also a group of Filipinos with a bucket of beer at 10 am – noisy of course.
About 11 am got a taxi (easily) and was in the airport by 11:45. Paid 200 P. Driver was good and traffic wasn't bad. Skyway appears to be finished. At the gates by 11:20. That left me with 2+ hours to kill. Better safe than sorry.
I saved a little bit of money by taking a very early CEB-CRK flight which required be to get up about 2:30 am. By 7 am I was in AC and was fortunate to get an early check-in at one of my favorite hotels. Excited to be in AC and got an early afternoon start at Pony Tails and then headed west on Perimeter. The bars that stick out in my mind are Det5, the new Irish bar, and my final stop – Honey Kos. Things were getting crazy at Honey kos.
I had maximized my bar hopping pleasure my ordering bottled water in between beers. With water I could leave a bar at any time, taking the water with me. So, it gave me the flexibility to leave at will, but also kept me hydrated.
Anyway, walked back to my hotel, freshened up, ate, and then hit the Fields bars. Unfortunately, my lack of sleep caught up to me. I think I was sound asleep in my room by 11 pm – alone. The old adage, "penny wise, pound foolish" comes to mind. I saved money on the early flight, but couldn't take advantage of the AC nightlife because of my sleeplessness.
The quality of the bars change day to day, if not hour to hour. The notes below are just my observations and memories as of March 2018. I do find the overall bar hopping experience much more enjoyable now that smoking is prohibited.
Centauro / Carousel I've always liked this bar because of the rotating carousel / dance floor. The view is always changing. And this trip there was an extraordinarily petite young lady that I probably should have barfined. Tiny and cute with a badass shoulder tattoo.
Monsoon has one of the fugliest dancers I've ever seen. Think of a nice big smile. Turn it upside down and that is her face. Her body is the bowling ball type. And she was there back in August 2017 as well. She must be very charming or possibly related to the mamasan.
Arcadia / Genesis: One of my finest barfines ever came out of Genesis. She quit soon after the ownership changed. Genesis was one of the first bars to get the gals to regularly rotate around the dance floor. So, like Carousel, the view often changed. Sadly, this custom seemed to disappear when Genesis became Nemesis and then Arcadia under new ownership. But things have improved. When I popped in the gals were moving in a circle (it's a big bar with a big dance floor) and much to my delight they were dressed in black lacy outfits. Very nice.
Passion. New name but nothing different inside. The table clothes still have the old name. The'club.

Body Shop I kind of like these old style bars. Anyone with a hair fetish? One chubby waitress had hair almost to her knees. And one of the dancers also had very long hair. If you stood her up in her birthday suit, you could tickle her clit with her hair.
The big show bars have their pros and cons. Lots of beautiful gals of course, but a bit hard to get eye contact. There used to be some good pole dancing, but didn't see any this trip. Sadly, some guests still get their kicks throwing bills at the girls. How can the ping pong ball manufacturers make a buck if people just throw cash? One thing I don't like about some of the big places is the pressure to sit down. These are big places. I want to look around and decide where to sit. I don't need some waitress using her laser pointer to find me a seat. I don't need three ladies shouting, "Have a seat sir. " I also don't need the door lady coming in behind me and giving me a light push. I guess that is their way of welcoming a guest, but it doesn't work for me.
I saw an odd thing. One of the colorfully dressed ladies who typically hold a baby as they beg was in my vicinity. An East Asian fellow seemed to actually dash away from her. And then she chased him! I guess her radar detected a soft-heart.

Most Filipinos don't have any savings at all, and it is a problem to raise money even for ship ticket to get to Luzon, not to mention they have to live somewhere and eat something in a big city before they start to earn, which is extremely expensive comparing to their home province.
Third of all, Filipinos used to rely on people they know. For example if a friend of a friend of a cousin of her friend managed to settle in Angeles City, then she considers it is trustworthy information, and she will inquire about details, how to get there, where to live, how much foreign mongers pay, etc. Information is transmitted by word of mouth solely. If Pinays don't have someone of their relatives or friends familiar with the state of affairs on the ground, they most likely will not go there. If you read my reports, I was specifically referring to Asian women married to men from their own ethnic backgrounds. I said they stop having sex after 40 with their husbands because they're more interested in children, family, religion, social status etc. Also, when the children are growing up in a cramped Asian house, it is always not conducive for a woman to have sexual relations so openly. I was not referring to prostitutes, girls on dating sites or bored Asian housewives looking for an exciting fling with a foreigner.
We also discussed in previous posts the fact that many Asian men go and seek P4 P action because of the lack of sexual activity at home. We agreed that this is tolerated as long as the family is not embarrassed and the husband is discreet.
For those of you that have lived in Asia for any length of time, you will know what I'm talking about. There is enough empirical and anecdotal evidence around to suggest that middle aged Asian women switch off and sex with their husbands is not really important. I have found a couple of references which back up what I am saying, so it's not bola bola. It makes for good bedtime reading.
