Got an SMS from my regular provider on Sat warning me that there are other providers cooperating with LE to set up brothers. I will call her later tonight to get more info but meanwhile all brothers should be cautious. They cannot do anything to you legally but they can embarrass you by calling your family or worse.

Stick only with providers you have used in the past and play it safe. I will update this once i get more info.

Sounds like an extortion racket. Given that Ma's legalization effort should imminently cut into mafia cashflow, and given that more difficult economic times are hurting even the First Profession, I wouldn't be surprised to see the mafia turn their procurement operations into extortion rackets. There is no risk or value lost in alienating the clientele.

An extortion racket makes a lot of sense right about now, in my view. I would give this report full credibility and plan accordingly.

$2000 per person room charge
$2000 per hour "fun" charge per person per girl (if you order 2 girls it's double the charge, 3 = triple, etc.)
$1000 beer charge (more if you order fancy alcohol)
$6000 take out "fun charge" (this is VIP rate with me, or it's $8000 standard charge)
$8000 3 hour take out charge (you pay for 4 hours but only allow to have her out for 3 hours)

Those places are cash-making machines, and therefore they are very distrusting of "walk-in customers", you need someone like me (or anyone with KTV experiences) to take you in to gain their trust, they go by referrals, not advertisements.

Thanks for the weblink. By 'overnight' I was referring to their 24hr (noon-noon) rate, which runs about NT$1k more than the 12hr rate, give or take.

It's not unusual to find "above 8" NT$1500 girls in SanChong Tofu house area if you got the right house (some houses got craps), but those "9/10 look" girls wouldn't stay for long so that hard to date them more than twice. 15 min rule is pretty much restricted (only a few more minutes might be OK).

My sense is board members very rarely meet because of that very fear. If as Rag's post suggests, the mafia is working with police to run an extortion racket, certainly they are trolling her as well. And certainly they are all over Craigslist. There is simply no upside, and lots of potential downside, to meeting in person with trolls or one-post-wonders.

Totally agree with Houziwang, dont meet with any one-post-wonders and lurkers. They need to earn our trust before we can meet them. I tried talking to my regular provider yesterday about the info she was giving me and she was surprisingly unwilling to talk about it. I can only think she is scared about something or just wants my business.

I dont think brothers with regular providers need to worry. Just dont do any "cold calls" to ppl who send you SMS messages. Excercise caution (as always) and play safe.
