Up to you if you want to hang back, see if the airline will market you to fly, or drop their fares at the last moment to fill the seat. Just remember, you might NOT get a seat as others are also interested in flying home. Otherwise, step up (no need to ELBOW your way through the crowd - well in MOST cases not), and check the seat price, availability, see if it's worth it to you to fly home on that airline.
And if you get turned down by the airline? So what! You wouldn't want to fly an airline that treats you rudely, no service.
I think a number of newbies are concerned about losing face by being turned down by a wg. She's a wg, right? But given it's a free market, just as you find some attractive, some not, so does she. Now, her CRITERIA for attractivess will be different than yours (e.g., wallet size, safety, wallet size, estimated on-the-job time, etc.), but she has the right to apply it anyway she wants. If you are not in her customer profile, then move on to someone else. I've certainly been given the "arctic" treatment. No problem, I just move on to warmer climes. You have to play to win; sitting in the bleachers just gets you a sore butt.
just came out of the sexual health clinic for my results after having the full array of tests done last week. i expected to have something, after the nurse last week told me there was "a bit of floating matter" in my [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109][CodeWord109][/url] sample, which could mean chlamydia. while i always use condoms, i'm still at risk for some nasties, as i usually give oral without protection. so i braced myself for the results, waiting for the bad news. unbelievably - all clear. nothing. zilch. pure as a baby.
as i left the clinic feeling elated, i nearly got hit by a speeding bus. now that would be ironic.
Just wanted to say thank heavens WR is back from his holidays and seeing to Miss N again. The lack of pics over Xmas has been a positively bad thing for my spirits.

i know that feeling. sometimes i think nurses and doctors do this on purpose, to scare the patients a bit, to make them staying aware of the risks.
waiting for the results of those tests is always a heart-attack time.

Piper, ironic too - just about to post in AD forum. Friend did have a dose (yes, really a friend!). Chlamydia picked up most likely at AP in AD before Christmas.

okay, i had my ass kicked at pool tonight, so here's what happened at the sex clinic last week (and today).
the place i go twice a year is a sex clinic in my home-town. i've gone there twice a year for about 8 years. the head nurse knows me by appearance, but i use an alias (for professional, legal and insurance reasons, just in case ...) and i'm pretty sure he knows this.
this visit i had triage (initial assessment) by a young nurse who was very busy, a bit stressed and in a bad mood. she tried to send me away to get checked by a gp instead (but that's not anonymous, and the clinic is - she knew why i was there).
to be be given priority for the clinic's service, you need to suspect you're symptomatic or be in a high-risk group, so when she tried to send me away, i told her i'd had unprotected sex with a sex-worker, and noticed a white discharge recently. she looked at me out of the corner of her eye, gave me a number, and i waited my turn for an appointment.
when it was my turn, she glared at me and asked a few tough rhetorical questions ("well! what would you do if you were hiv positive?" etc), which i handled easily. she emphasized the growing incidence of hiv in australia recently and asked why i was so careless. she was not happy with me. but i wanted the tests, so i played along and let her do her thing. hats off to her - they do a great job there.
she obviously had a word with my old pal the head nurse, who's a nice guy, but he had to put on the tough act also. he reprimanded me for taking such a stupid risk, and pointed out the rapid rise of hiv in australia in the past year. then he tried to shake me up with the [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord109][CodeWord109][/url] sample "floaties" story. i did my best to look suitably shamed. he actually apologized for giving me a hard time, saying it's because he couldn't understand why people were taking so many more risks nowadays.
today when i went for my results, i had a different nurse. luckily for me, she was an indian woman dressed in a traditional sari (yum!) she had to examine my scrotum, as last week's nurse pointed out it appeared bigger than it should be and wanted a second opinion. who am i to complain?
the indian nurse had a nice bedside manner, but i still managed to get through the inspection without an erection. must be something about the rubber gloves. :) she gave me the all-clear for being disease-free, and after much ball-squeezing she was satisfied my balls were okay, so i was free to go.
i happily skipped out of the clinic, almost into the path of a speeding bus.

Just a quickie as not much has changed from my point this week.
Met up with ABSE2 on tuesday/thursday and went for a short round of fun in the triangle.
Tuesday.
Jockeys - 9.30 - 10.30.
Fairly decent selection of mainly PRC and CIS regulars, but a few new faces. Two girls who said they had just moved across the water from the Hyatt and were in for a first time. One was quite a babe, but didnt fit the 50:50 rules on age i am afraid.
Imperial - 10.35 - 11.30
Usual faces, some new PRC plus the regular collection of CIS Dogs with Mamasan in attendence, scowling as ever and pushing the herd around the room to try and overthrow the PRC dominance.
Some new African faces, none of which sparked much interest.
Met up with another work colleague and he reckoned the Imp was going back down the hill, in desperate need of an injection of fresh stock.
Seaview - 11.35 - 02.30
Now thats more like it - new PRC faces, a few PI and the regular CIS all having fun as ever.
Fortunately I had the Big Boobed Baby on standby and there she was waiting patiently.
My two firends (both Seaview 1st timers) seemed well pleased with the place, particularly the band and quality of service, along with the selection of girls of course.
They were both impressed with BBB as well, each of them asking to be allowed a go as if trying out a spanking new bike or similar.
My mates both left around 2 am, with selections made, one PRC and one CIS. I meanwhile stayed with BBB as she was going on a Visa run at 4 am, adequate for ST only tonight then. Took her back to my place and duly despatched her to RAK at 4, both of us knackered and me having to get up for work at 6.30 ha ha.
Wednesday
After last night and a day at work, decided to take a night off and rest for Thursday - After all the BBB was only just back from Kish and tired too.
Thursday.
Jockeys - 9.30 - 10.00
Big mistake, place is full of 'lets have a quick one after work' expats who then carry on till they are all pissed and the night is ruined. Not only for them, but for the others, including the girls who have to suffer such 'juvenile on cider' behaviour.
It would appear that only the real 'hard core' long stay dubai girls know how to cope with this kind of idiot and stay the pace accordingly. probaby good pickings for them as the punter will probably be snoring by the time she finished her preps in the bathroom. Money upfront is the method they use, I bet.
Time for a sharp exit
Imperial - 10.05 - 11.30
Now getting better, all the usual faces, plus the newbies and the place is relatively empty at 10, filling quickly with mainly locals all the time. Still there is a chance to review and find out prices etc, even take a few numbers should the nights plans go amiss.
Cheap beer too, Tsaoching - Chinese Beer at 10 Dhms a bottle, gotta have a few to try it.
Seaview - 11.35 - 2.00 am
Back in the favourite place, good band and BBB waiting patiently as ever.
New faces all round, with the new PRC from Jockeys on Tuesday now firmly in place in Seaview as well.
For the PI enthusiasts - Lots of em, all arrived around midnight and stayed having fun till very late - gotta be there and scoop those babes up.
All the regular CIS faces in abundance and everyone having a great time.
Guy from work arrived around 1 am, he is PI and had three of his own in tow. All regular secretaries from an office in Karama, looking to increase their income with nice guys like me. Pity I was already occupied with the BBB, otherwise it would have been fun to try them all.
And the moral of the story -
Every girl mentioned, talked to and priced up was keen to go LT for max 500 dhms
There are definitely more girls back in the open again, perhaps the LE have relaxed and gone back under their stones.
Have things finally stabilised, temporarily, in DXB i ask?
I'm trying to stabilise things by moving the BBB into my place long term, no sign of Miss Gem ever returning fom China, so substitute required.

Some weeks ago there was a post by a member other than me, suggesting a boycott of Cyclone was needed to bring things back down to earth for that particular joint and its charging of a high entrance fee and drink prices, whilst not actually giving the honest punter much in the way of service. I agree the girls there are a cut above, but they are available elsewhere.
I was in the Seaview last night and saw that there had been an influx of very attractive and somewhat stylishly dressed PRC, all new faces to me. The dance floor was a joy to behold.
One of the guys I was with pointed out that they were all regulars from Cyclone who had obviously decided to make a move. He used the words "I wonder why???"
Now I ask, are we witnessing the obvious, a meltdown of Cyclone? Has the practice of charging high entrance and drinks fees and giving nothing in return finally come round to bite them in the arse, ie. have the punters drifted away, causing the girls to move on in their never ending search of reasonable business?
I certainly hope so, after all those of us who have budgets and cannot afford to be ripped off like a tourist, mainly cos we have to live here, will be better off for the move. A class A Cyclone girl for my meager 500 dhms ceiling now looks reasonably possible, time to give it a try.
Even though I was occupied with the BBB last night, I still managed to have a chat with one of the new babes, about the only one who was not already taken I may add. She agreed, she was a Cyclone girl, I pretended to have seen her there. Price discussed, ok to go all night, LT for 600, whereas she would have been looking for 1000+ at Cyclone and she admitted it too. brief run through of my exploits
After some difficulty located Sea view, choice not great, and was with my friend who was in UAE for one night.
PRC best bet I picked a solid 8 he got a average 7, on the way back to their place it became apparent my friends choice had got a better offer and she made her excuses and stayed in the taxi on our arrival at their some what bare apartment.
After some convincing my solid 8, lets call her Miss w agreed on a 3 way for an extra 200.
Money demanded up front, not a great start but agreed. After shower alternating BBB J's, followed by some great DP, little complaint on the Greek action from me, but soon got into the swing of things finishing of with CIM.
Rest / drinks and round 2 of similar action, total damage 700
Found a real cutie 18, PRC in the dragon mart, non pro, no payment offered or asked for. Agreed on date , although after drink stayed in and watched DVD in her room, although a little shy managed a little DATY followed by straight sex, very very wet and very tight, agreed on another date.

TGIT is 'Thank God Its Thursday' in the Astoria Hotel. Rough as rats but some seem to enjoy it, remember it closes briefly in the afternoon, also try Jockies in the Panorama hotel for dayworkers.
