The ultimate strip club info page
Unfortunately, it's all in Japanese, but even if you don't understand Japanese, you should be able to pick up at least prices, hours of operation, showtimes, etc. And each strip club's page on this site has a very detailed map at the bottom.http://www.age.ne.jp/x/gensan/ti/index.shtmlThe list of clubs on this page starts with the northern clubs at the top (Sapporo, Hokkaido) and works its way south to the infamous Naha Music in Okinawa. The Tokyo area clubs start on the third line (the first line just has one club, the one in Sapporo) with Asakusa Rock ("Rokku"). Click on the name of the club to go to that club's info page with map, hours, etc. Many clubs have their own pages; when they do, there is usually a link on their info page here.I would like to meet the guy who is webmaster, because you will not find a more detailed website about ... anything! For each club, it has things like quality of reception for the major cell phone service providers in Japan, vending machines/coffeeshops/restaurants on the premises or nearby, discounts (it cracks me up when they offer student and senior citizen discounts!), etc. type information (like this from the Theater Ueno: "From Feb. 21, 2002, it seems they offer a panty present on weekdays"), superdetailed access info for just about any mode of transportation you could think of, location of nearby flower shops (it seems any club goer worth his salt buys flowers beforehand to give to his favorite stripper), exact latitude and longitude, nearby restaurants and hotels, often with discount info, detailed description of the stage,...oh, I better stop here, I think you get the idea. I've had this site bookmarked for years, but it never occurred to me to post about it here. Didn't know there was so much interest in strip clubs. If you do go, please be a gentleman. If you are not Asian, you shouldn't have any problems getting in (if you are Asian, of course you won't), but you will get some stares initially. Once the show starts, though, all eyes will be on the ladies. Just do what the best mannered Japanese guys around you are doing and you'll be all right. It's not like America, where often the guys do a lot of whooping and hollering; they are much more serious here. It's okay to smile, but there isn't usually much dialogue between customers or with the dancers. If you are a gentleman, not only will you be accepted there, you may actually be encouraged to participate more than you expect! I remember one place, they passed out plastic gloves to guys who wanted to partake and allowed fingering the stripper. I was going to pass, thinking that would be a nice intercultural move, but the guys around me and even the lady were like, "No, take the glove! Go ahead and do it!"So I did of course. When in Rome, ... :)
Do they have Japanese performers? I went to a strip club a while back in Tokyo (don't remember district) where they dress like students and perform robot-like movement which was quite exciting.Where can I find them in Tokyo?
