Nothing special to report, prices are up compared to October on my last trip. Centaurus raised their prices. The quality has gone down. Sessioned the hottest Negra there. I am behind in getting my reports done, but I can answer all this quick as I just enjoyed 3 nights at centarus in November as a newbie to Rio and SP. I also hit Monte Carlo and Solarium.
As a first timer it was my favorite place in Rio, especially since I was staying in Copa so it was really easy to access. As mentioned in another report it's at the end of copa where it meets ipanema and neighborhood is pretty good thought like anyplace make sure to have your head up. 1 night I strolled and sipped drinks on the way down, 2nd night road a lime scooter as close as I could (you have to park relatively close to the beach) and walked the rest of the way and night 3 took an uber, was staying at JW marriott for reference.
English was mixed, so using translate on a phone was essential sometimes. Would just type and hand it back and forth and worked great. You get a locker and all the money stays in there, entrance fee includes 2 drinks, seemed more than safe like that. I can't quite recall exactly but there was a surcharge for using a card so I paid cash. I am big points person so the math had to be more than 3% for the card is all I can absolutely confirm. I do recall at solarium if you paid entrance in cash up front you got a free drink. Monte Carlo was like a 10% premium. Basically if you have good access to cash then I think that is the way to go. I used my schwab account with the ATMs so I paid no fees. Side note some places it's mixed like scandello in SP, no surcharge for card on entrance or room, but 6% if you use it to pay the girl so I would mix the card and cash.
Here is a tidbit I hadn't read anywhere, all the termas you get a robe, and being only experienced in FKKs and macau saunas I took it all off, but seems that generally guys keep their boxers on which I finally started to do on night 3, haha. But anyway the girls enjoyed me free balling it so I never even put it together until my last night there anyway.
Girl selection was good and changed nightly, some were repeats every night, some where there on night 1 gone on 2 back on 3. Then if and when ready tell the girl you like you want to go upstairs and choose 40/60 minutes. This is where it diverged on different nights, night 1 and 3 went downstairs to get the girls money and pay her, night 2 we went after the session or maybe just at checkout can't recall exactly.
One point to note that is she goes to refresh herself before the session but you don't shower and there wasn't one in the room so you would want to shower either right before going there, once you get there, or let her know you are going to rinse then you can go upstairs. This was the same at solarium. Monte Carlo had small shower in the room but neither of us used it until after.
Think that pretty much covers it, basic operation was same at solarium and monte carlo.

You pay everything at the end. You can pay the girls fee in cash, and everything else on your credit card if you want. They didn't charge me a premium on my card when I did that.
