There are mongers who spend 2, 000 baht a day and some who spend 20, 000 baht a day. I hope this guide helps, and my prices could be a few years outdated, so others can correct me if inflation has made my information obsolete. These are also generalizations. Bottom line, the 3, 000 baht mongering budget will limit what you can do or the number of times or venues you can try. Every 'adventure' will cost you 2, 000 baht on average. Some less and some more.
I end up spending 10,000 baht or more per day (at least one oily, a soapy or freelancer, and a go go bar or club). I play pool, shop, or do other things to keep myself entertained in between. You can have fun for 4,000 baht all in (girls, food, other, but excluding the hotel) , but it does limit you in different ways. You will most likely be going the freelancer or Oily massage route or you will be blowing your budget at one stop.
Hotels.
Be sure the hotel you pick is guest friendly, or you could be paying a 'joiner fee', which is another 500 baht out of your pocket.
Budget (1,500 to 2,500 baht) – Nana, CityPoint, On8, Citadines, Admiral Suites, etc.
Mid Range (2,500 to 4,000 baht) – Majestic Suites, Dynasty Grande, S15, Dream, Livingstone's, etc.

Watch out for the farang surcharge, which can be 500 to 1, 000 baht, which is a premium over what Thai's and other Asians may be paying. These venues have the famous 'fish bowl' where the girls sit behind a glass to be chosen. There are girls outside of the fish bowl, the so called side line girls. Once you select the girl, you end up in a room, they wash you off in a tub, and then it's off to the races.
Fish Bowl – 2,300 to 2,800 baht + 500 to 1,000 baht tip for the girl. Total of 3,000 to 4,000 baht.
Sideline / Models – 3,500 to 6,000 baht + 1,000 to 2,000 baht to the girl.

They require a membership, but I got by explaining that I was checking out all the G-Clubs and would make a decision later. Drinks are more expensive for non-members. It is conveniently located.

For mongers who arrive in LOS after midnight, if you are like me, I enjoy a good massage after a long flight. Most massage parlors in BKK close by midnight. Sabai Sabai has a 24/7 incall outcall service. I will swing by their location, pick a girl I like, and do take out. Get a great oil massage, and end with a HJ or full service. One of my most memorable experiences was with a girl from Sabai Sabai. Very exotic look, great massage and on the flip her riding me in a very sexy way. It's a weird combination of small friendly bars with only a handful or two of girls, what are termed "The Arab Bars" which are a bunch of glitzy high priced gogos with lots of Coyote girls who do their best to get you to buy them expensive Lady drinks before they give you the bad news that you can't barfine them and then the bars you mention that have been around a while and have not yet been scooped up by The Arab. Getting a list of The Arab bars to avoid is probably more important than knowing where to go. Baccarra by most accounts is the best but at least on the night I went a couple weeks ago it was full of surgically enhanced females.
Nana Plaza for me is much more accessible though perhaps too many Lady Boy bars for comfort but they are pretty obvious. Rainbow 4 has a lot of girls but it can be almost too much. 2 stages packed with girls, not enough seating and droves of guys. You feel like you are at a cattle auction (not that I have even been to a cattle auction). I think Billboard is the best these days. Lots of places to sit. Some very nice looking girls of different sizes, a jacuzi with some real cuties in it and a helpful staff. There are two Mandarin bars. One on the second floor. Avoid it in general and one right off to the side of it in which you have to climb some steep stairs. You may want to be sober for those stairs. This one can have some very nice looking girls at times and more than any bar I have been in Nana can be very hands on. It is kind of dark and smokey. The girls and Mamasan's can be too aggressive but if you see a girl you like and have her come over chances are she will be quite friendly. The other bar you don't mention that I think is worth a visit is Mercury. Right next to the downstairs Mandarin Bar. Some lovely girls in there but again not nearly enough seating. And then gogos like the 2 Eroticas, Rainbow 1 & 3, Las Vegas and probably most of the others will have at least 2-3 girls of note. Gogos are ever shifting landscapes. One night you can go into one and you feel like you have landed in Paradise and you go back two nights later and wonder if you had been drunk on your previous visit because you don't see anything you like. It's all in timing.
