If you're looking for young pretty girls with good attitudes, then you may want to try Mandarin GoGo at Nana (the one on the right and up steep stairs next to Mandarin Table Top GoGo. Manage alcohol intake according to how far you're prepared to fall down when you leave). When I was there in Sept, the bar was running two rotations of girls. One of smaller schoolgirls (no spinners) and the other with taller svelt young things. Quite a number of PYTs and generally a good attitude from girls and staff. Not pushy with drinks (mostly) but that doesn't mean that they don't ask! There seemed to be more of a push to do ST rather than LT so you may not get your first choice if LT is what you're wanting.
Mandarin Table Top also has some sweeties. The one I met there I didn't takeaway as it was a case of first girl-first bar-first night and I still wanted to play.

Unlike DRRonin, I've haunted Soi Cowboy for years and will admit to Rawhide as being one of my regular lurking places. For awhile it benefited from being the poor sister of Long Gun in that it was quieter but still had some reasonable lookers with a good attitude. Mamasan recognises me no matter how long it is between visits and seems to know what I like. I've enjoyed the place in the past but it did seem to be in decline when I was last there (although I was off alcohol that time!)
Dollhouse is an enigma. I've had good hunting there and there's always a cutie or two. But in Sept I went there every night for over a week and I would have been lucky to see more than a dozen guys over the entire time. You'd think getting a girl would have been like shooting fish in a barrel but they were too busy shuffling, looking in the mirror and then racing to the bathroom. This wan't the first visit that I've seen this. It still keeps getting good reviews but I don't see how. But I still have a soft spot for it.
Baccara, Shark and Tilac do nothing for me at all as the usual clientele has created a demanding environment where dollars determine attitude. I prefer to take my drinks and the girls at my own pace.
Overall, Soi Cowboy has lost its quieter charm and gone the way that Nana went while Nana has recovered IMHO.

Have experienced cordon Bleu at Beer Garden a few times and was ok, maybe just off the freezer (I believe frozen food is often better than dodgy fresh food). Lets say good for a change for a quick bite to eat without venturing in real restaurants or sticking 100% to Thai food. Which I like, but from time to time I need some more familiar food. My mind and my body ask for.

Angelwitch is an underestimated place. If you like shows it has them in abundance. There is one show where they get a member of the audience and give him a high energy lap-dance on stage. Very amusing to see the wide grin from the guy. I was there last Saturday night and saw 6 or 7 ladies which are as good looking as you will get anywhere in Nana.
7 pm is very early to be hitting the go-go's. As for kicking yourself for passing up some of the girls, why not go to the ST places located in both Soi Cowboy and Nana then kick back and watch the shows?
Soi Cowboy comes under the Thonglor Police district and Nana is covered by Lumphini.
Nana bars tend to close at 2 or 2:30 whereas quite a lot in Cowboy are open until 3 am.

All the Thai dishes I have eaten there were of a reasonably good standard.
I went there last Saturday and did not feel hungry enough to order a main course so I decided on appetizers. Having company we ordered beef strips, deep fried chicken in bread crumbs and vegetable spring roll's. The beef strips were way over-cooked, the chicken was gristle in bread crumbs and the spring rolls were adequate.

Both serve very good food and are both on the left as you walk down from Sukhumvit. I don't remember the name of the first place but the front is festooned with plant's, you can't miss it. This one is the more expensive of the two. The second is called Suk 11. More reasonably priced the advantage this place has is that the food is cooked to very old Thai recipes. I would highly recommend both places.

I arrived in Bangkok on Sunday February 24. In the afternoon, I went for an oil massage on Soi 8 at a place called Cozy massage or something similar. I cannot recall the name, so maybe the regulars can chime in. One of the Shopping Centers, either MBK or Paragon. Has a cafeteria with Thai food.
