I believe the name of this place is The Hungry working girl.
Any recommendations around Soi 11, 7 or 5 for thai food? I am trying to avoid the tourist restaurants, if possible. Also, if there are any other cuisine or restaurant that you recommend, I would like to have your opinions.
If you are really interested in good Thai food, the Nana area is not your friend.
I walked down Soi 4 and quickly checked out NEP, but I decided I really wasn't in the mood, so I continued down Soi 4 and saw a beautiful woman freelancing. After passing her, and returning later, I approached her. She was really attractive, with a nice body and pretty face. However, when she started talking to me, I couldn't help but thinking she was a ladyboy. Her voice was just a hair too masculine. She very well could have been a female, but I didn't want to risk it. Too bad, as she was very attractive.
Good call. If you see a beautiful woman down Soi 4, she is either lost and took a wrong turn, a gogo girl coming back from a rendevous or a Lady Boy. There are no beautiful freelancers on Soi 4 any more.
I walked into Thermae and saw plenty of attractive young women and about as many older lesser attractive women. The women who smiled, waved, and made eye contact with me were on the older lesser attractive side. The few women I talked to that were young and hot, didn't respond. Instead, they were there for the 90% of clientele that are Asian. I saw all the girls I approached later, outside with Asian clients.
Welcome to the club. The Thermae Initiation Ritual.
Ok I see you guys talking about G-clubs what is that and what can I do there?
Is it something you guys recomend me to try when I go to BKK in June?
It seems like they are good place to find young good looking girls?
Is it veru pricey?
They are pricey. They are not for everyone. They are like the Korean Bars in Hawaii and the Hostess Bars in Tokyo, but pumped up on steroids. They take the hostess concept and throw them into a blender with the Hong Kong style hostess bars and Bangkok GoGo Bars. They have stages, coyote dancers, bands, and other entertainment. The girls sit with you. They are not designed for you to get laid like GoGo bars. Read the links below, and decide if it is for you. It will cost you 3, 000 to 10, 000 baht, depending on how long you stay. If you are ok with spending that kind of money, just to be entertained, it might be for you. If not, avoid them.

So after dinner at Suda restaurant (Soi 14 I believe) , I went for a walk.
I went to Soi Cowboy to check out the darkness. It was very eerie seeing the place at night all closed down. The downside was the annoying tuk tuk drivers trying to get me to pay them to take me to a place that is open. They were more annoying than ever.
After that, I walked down Sukhumvit towards NEP. When I passed by the closed Thermae, there were a bunch a women out front, but not nearly as many that were inside the previous night. Although, all the hot women I spoke to previously were there. On the opposite side of the sidewalk were the Asian customers lined up checking out the talent.
When I got to Soi 4, NEP was completely dark, but there were about three of four bars on the soi open for business and they did appear to be serving alcohol. Plenty of ladyboy prostitutes were lining the streets with a few women sprinkled in to make for an interesting game of "find the attractive women among the not so attractive and sometimes attractive ladyboys".
A few women tried to get my attention, but nothing that really interested me, especially since I was recently satisfied with Nit.
I then walked back to soi 13, and headed down the street with the oil massage shops that connects to the walkway to soi 11. I'd seen a girl a Wondergirl during my last trip who I thought was a lot of fun. If she was there, I planned to take her back to my hotel.
I didn't see her, but there were lots of other women asking to give oil massage with discount. The discount is to lure you in for the up sell to sex. However, there was one girl that caught my eye. Unfortunately, there was a guy about ten meters in front of me that she latched onto, so I was about 30 seconds too late.
I continued back to my hotel on Soi 15 and spotted a gaggle off freelancers on the corner of Soi 15 and Sukhumvit. They were a mixed bunch of young and old, shy and outspoken. The more verbose ones chatted me up and it was nice talking to them. One girl in particular, Tak, really liked to talk. She had a hot red dress on, but a bit too much make up for my tastes. Also, while she wasn't fat, I prefer a slimmer girl. She told me a disco was open on Soi 11. To be honest, I'm not really into discos, so even though I wanted a drink, I wasn't in the mood to head out there for that.
There was one girl in the bunch that was like a stick figure. She looked to be the youngest. But she wasn't really my type either.
The one girl I liked the most didn't want to chat beyond giving me her name, which I've since forgotten.
By this time the street bars were beginning to set up. I can only assume they planned on serving alcohol after midnight. But since jet lag was kicking in, I decided to call it a night.

Very much thai cuisine! From all over the country. Opposite beer bar area, aside imperial queen park hotel.
Welcome to the club. The Thermae Initiation Ritual. If you haven't been dismissed or ignored by a cute girl in Thermae you haven't really experienced Bangkok.
The first time I went to Thermae was about two and a half years ago and I was knocked back three times in the space of half an hour. A bit disconcerting. I have been advised that the best approach for westerners is just to sit with a drink and see which girls make eye contact with you and then follows that up with a smile.
I haven't been there since so can't really comment accurately but if the young good lookers are only interested in the 3 x 3 x 3 customers it may be the undesirable end of the scale you find trying to get your attention.

Soi 5 has Foodland's "Tuuk Lae Dee" (Cheap but Good) for a quick bite Thai or western, and there used to be an okay thai restaurant upstairs nearby. Soi 7 has many places together outdoors competing for your business.

Cross to the other side if you want to see hot female FL streetwalkers.
Also check out lower sukh from soi 3 to 5, in the daytime or at night.
Over the years I've found quite a number of hotties in these locations that surpass the vast majority of anything I've ever seen in or going into or coming out of Thai gogos, whether in person with NEP, online websites, videos, or magazines for sale in BKK & Pattaya.
Let's face it, some girls don't like the environment, rules, people, etc in bars or gogos.
Here's a lookalike of a soi 4 FL stunner I picked up several times about a year ago:
Thanks to those who commented on my question about getting the girls from MPs to one's hotel. As for bar crawling, here is a strategy that one of my friends shared with me. Hope it's helpful and any comments are welcome. The strategy is as follows:
1. Don't sit in any bar. Just go in, say to those who want to sit you down that you're looking for your friends and get out after 2 minutes.
2. How do you spend the 2 minutes that you're in the bar. Check the girls very carefully and note if any hotties are there.
3. Once you complete the circle of few bars and remember where most of the hotties are. Return to that bar and take a table this time. After one drink only (one can't just barfine without a drink, it seems). Barfine the girl out.
4. If you want 2 girls, go with the chosen girl to another bar with the 2nd best hottie that you spotted earlier, and repeat #3.
5. Do all of the above relatively early, perhaps 8-9 pm, when the girls are fresh and places are not mobbed to a degree that one can't examine the territory quickly.
I would only recommend this method if you are on a very short timeframe. It's a pretty clinical method but what is the rush? Go to the bars mentioned on this site or even just wander around and enter a bar with the prettiest 'Hello Girls' sitting outside. You don't need to spend a long time going on strategic recces because you could get almost identical end results by having a really enjoyable night, visiting numerous bars at your own leisurely pace. That's part of the fun! Essentially your friends strategy only saves you buying yourself a few drinks and maybe the occasional lady-drink. You're on holiday, relax and enjoy yourself. It sounds to me that maybe the selection method in high end massage parlours, where you select a girl from a well stocked 'fishbowl' might be more suited to you.
Also I thought you might like to hear a girls perspective. I have been in gogo bars in both Thailand and Philippines, chatting to a pretty girl, when a customer has walked in, looked at the girls and walked back out again after a few seconds. Both girls said "he rude, no respect". The girls know it's a business but they don't like being treated like a piece of meat. Personally I will never enter a bar and leave without buying a drink, even if it's just a quick bottle of water.

Been to Rosabieng, but thought it was a bit "touristy". I like the smaller venues. The Japanese restaurant, Uzuki, in the Grand President is really quite good for basic food and reasonable as well. You can tell it is good, because all the Japanese expat workers land up there to drink and eat after work. The decompress by talking golf, beer and home, so the food there is to their tastes.
The "Old German Beer House" across the street from Uzuki is pretty good and is always busy with european expats, so the food must be ok. I found it to be good in my taste, but I am not a knowledgable German cuisine person. In the same lane that the beer house is on are a couple of italian restaurants that I have not tried yet. Looked at the Australian Pub next door, but never visited it, yet.
