True, Richard. Thanks for the info. I've been on the scene for a couple of years and somehow club lava has been under my radar. The chinese places that I visit are mostly in panmure and salon 28 in ponsonby. Have you been there and compared them?

Salon 28 usually has a lineup of girls there for their "normal" prices. I think it's $135 for 45 mins, $150 for 1 hour. And then there are "special" girls for $180-220 or probably even more, for the younger and prettier girls. But the experience is somewhat limited in that they only have one massage table in the room to play around with, no jacuzzi, bed, or anything.

The thing that takes away from the experience is their lack of english. How's their english at club lava?

I think that places like club of lava are a step more upmarket than the salon 28 type places. I haven’t used that one but I have had a look in there.

Well here is my theory...

there are certain businesses like club of lava where they expect to have Chinese Asian businessmen visiting them. you see the Chinese businessmen come over to NZ and their agent or business partner takes them around to the local entertainment" places.
Places like club of lava where entertainment can be guaranteed to be at a certain level if you are willing to pay.
They also need locals of course but in order to keep their best customers (the agents) they have to have nice rooms at least some good girls and Chinese speaking girls etc and offer additional things such as "no sex" services just in case. (the agents only want the best their job depends on it)

The Thai places probably don’t have the networks to get heavily into that market. So they tend to have less Chinese girls less facilities (as you noted) and less quality control.

the girl I had had better English than most people at the Thai places. I think some of the people at club of lava (etc) are quite smart and are here to do serious university degrees as opposed to brought in for this job or here just for fun. So on average I would expect their English to be better (but not a hell of a lot better).

Richard, I think you're right. That's what the higher-end of this business caters to. High-flying overseas businessmen. They should be so lucky.

Is the club lava relatively new? It doesn't seem to be advertised too widely. Will come by and check up the exterior today, do a drive-by. hehe. Probably see some cute school girls from AUT over there ( I mean the ones over the legal age).

I dont know if they were operated by a Thai lady. There was a report in the wsgforum that it is operated by chinese lady.

From my experience there, I never had a single Thai lady with me. You would be able to tell if you try them out.

I'll try out club lava in the near future, hopefully the prices arent too damaging to my wallet.

They have the tea room out the front and then u go to the long coradoor and that shower room and then to your room and they bring all the girls down infront of the room and show them to you one at a time...

And the ladies were Thai (although that was quite a while ago). Some how it seems to fit with the modus opperandi that they would have cheap Thai workers as opposed to relatively picky Chinese ones (generalizing here).
The ones I saw in pamure looked thai also.
How are you at telling the difference? (ni hao as opposed to sawadee ka/krup etc) If most of the girls have dark skin they are probably mostly thai and if their R's sound like L's etc..
having heard about the owner and knowing the industry in general I expect they lie through their teeth about where they come from.

Excellent massage by trained Chinese & Thai ladies."
That usually means thai ladies and a chineese one once in a while.

Still maybe it was just chance that I bumped into a thai one so to speak.

So anyone else had experience at salon 28? thai or chineese?

The girl was quite good though good looking better than usual massage etc.. bit loose though and not particularly into it.

Yes Club of lava is quite new (relatively speaking) the adds are in the yellow pages and they used to be in the nztruth but I couldn’t find them this time - maybe they neglect the non Asian market a bit in their advertising.

I can tell that those girls are chinese by booking them. You can somehow tell by their looks too. Anyway, Had a few of them in salon 28 and never came across a single Thai yet.

I've been around enough Asian people to know their tones of dialogue, it's quite easy to tell.

Club lava definitely sounds like the ideal place to visit.

I visited this new Chinese health massage place yesterday. It looked clean and tidy inside. I picked a young Chinese girl, quite sweet and innocent. Massage was okay and even allowed me to suck her nipples. Damage was $40 an hour, plus $20 for HJ and I gave her another $20 for allowing me to play with her tits.

I did not ask if they provide FJ. Maybe next time I will. If you like fresh, inexperienced young girls, which I do, then this is the place for you.

She’s very good but in the end I think the one at Vicky clinic/ epsom (ask for "Shirley") is just slightly better (biased as I am). She manages the time a bit better so that you don't get rushed out the door after so you get massage before and after and a drink and a chat etc.. (although I guess the big question may be how far do you have to drive to get there)
Their technique is very similar (might be the same school, I think they are both from shanghai). Although each has a technique worth teaching the other.

Both of them are MUCH better than the others I have seen. If you havent had a chineese masage you should give it a go once in a while its $40 +$20 if you want a "happy ending".

Anyway anyone else who checks up on a girl for massage or full service should give us the heads up since two people agree then its not just personal taste.

tell me what you think of club of lava when you check it out, swordsman, we can see if they have been able to keep up their good standard (I was there quite a while ago)
