What I meant was that in Photo for instance they would start at Rs500 and stick with it. i've called or looked up most of the major massage clinicas around brooklyn, and they don't pick up their phones or list that they are closed on sunday on their website. i'm hoping to have better luck with the clubs later tonight. it's too bad because i was really looking forward to a bit of therapeutic massage as well as some extra fun in the afternoon.

kilt is the only club i know of that is open on sunday nights.

Right. Even the other strip clubs on rua N.Pestana are closed on Sundays.

That being said, Sunday evening is a great day for bar hopping in Sao Paulo. Many "in" bars in Pinheiros, Itaim, V.Olimpia, Jardins, Bela Vista, ect (that makes hundreds of them) have a Sunday party with musica ao vivo (usually MPB or samba) which begins quite early, around 6pm, and is INEVITABLY packed to the walls. Drinks are usually cheaper on that day, and there's always promotions such as "mulheres VIP" or things like that.

Paulistas LOVE going out on Sunday evenings. It's a great day for "paquerar" (chasing) non-pros. Also it's the day where the GDP on their day off go out for fun and party.

One of my Brazilian colleagues gave me the skinny on why Bahamas closed....long story short: A plane crashed in SP. An investigation was launched. Investigation uncovers that there is a tall building near the airport that makes it tricky to land. Building is investigated. Turns out that the owners of the building are related to the guy who owns Bahamas. Bahamas is investigated and they find that it is a bar that also has rooms for sex on premises. Police close Bahamas and any other club in SP with rooms. So the story Paulistas abbreviate: "Bahamas closed because of a plane crash"...and that's why all of the clubs in SP require the girls to be taken off premises (to a nearby motel or hotel room).

A few days ago I had a taxi driver promoting Connection, located in Av. Dr. Eduardo Cotching 1178 in Vila Formosa.
He said it is a nice place where you can have some food, drink and obviously you can meet girl and spend time with them on premises.

I finally had some free time to check out a clinica this evening (a little disappointed my meeting lasted until 8pm). Connection, Cafe Photo, Bomba , etc., they are all the same- except that Connection would cost you minimum 100 R round trip in a taxi (from downtown). Yes, it is that far. The question why do you wanna travel a long distance at night in city like SP , where you can get the exact same thing next door.

I would take Cafe Photo over those places.

I went to this club more than a year ago when they still have the fixed price. Entrance fee + one girl for 40mins + the room. I believe it was around $R255. I think I was there on a Thursday and it was pretty lively with a bunch of Brazilian guys on a birthday or bachelor party. The girls were pretty cute with a couple of hardened pros thrown in. I would definitely check it out with a wingman to Split the costs. Also you can take the Metro to a station nearby and cab it from there.

The girls at Cafe Photo are snob. On the other hand , the girls at Connection seemed more playful. Plus, in Connection, there are room upstairs.

Connection fits in the same category as Bomboa, Millenium, Bahamas, etc. The only downside is the distance, unless you are staying nearby.

Well I found the girls at Cafe Photo very pleasant and some playful.

I look at the costs as well. On Saturday.I went to cafe photo:

Entrance: 130 R on Sat

Taxi: 30 R to get their

The Girl: hot blonde.350 R for hour and half

Back to my hotel: free. She had her own car so we drove in her car.

So depending where you are. The cost for entrance. Then taxi ride roundtrip costs. And then the girl cost.
