Several years on this site and don't really bother to post any more because when I do it is several days before my post gets issued on the site or not at all. Please advise if my account is going to stay moderated so I can decide if I close my account and move on.

I've had the same problem for years, sent a few queries to mods but never get a response. I'm actually thinking this site isn't monitored much anymore, it certainly doesn't look like it gets much attention from mods. Good luck.

The longer I've been around, the more appreciative I've become of this site, especially the administration (Jackson - you still there?) Yes, the borders are guarded, rightfully so, great time and effort have gone into making this site what it is. But "on campus", [I]students[/I] have the freedom of discussions and disagreements. [I]Blue inks[/I] are rare, and most heed the warning. Head loppings (bannings) are rarer still, and purges... well, I can't remember when someone has been disappeared. Sure, there's chaff amongst the wheat, but not all that difficult to find. Auto corrects can be frustrating, but a quick edit can put things right.
So thanks, Jackson, Administration, and monitors. Job well done.
It's been down for two days now. Does anyone know what happened, and when or if it will be back? In the USA, its a priceless, invaluable resource, and its hard to function as an informed monger without it!
