Heading soon to HCMC for a short stay of a couple of nights at a New World Hotel in Le Lai Street, District 1,.
Heard it is not much GF and noting this.
being first timer and not familair with the city and hotel surrounding is there any (reliable and providing a good degree of services) MP's nearby?
Seems to me that some rip off's are in town, so just want to avoid these or overpay.
Anyone experienced the massage services in the hotel?

Sorry not too familiar with the massage places. There's a lot of hot tocs out on Do Binh Lo (Binh Thanh district) that some members here seem to think are some of the best around. If you search on "Do Binh Lo" or else "DBL" you'll find info on those. Also some on Dien Bien Phu same district but supposedly not as good (girls less cute/young). I tried one of these once a few years ago but it's not my thing. Never did try the ones at DBL but they do seem a step up from DBP, from what I glimpsed while driving past them. Don't be too put off by Crazyazn's reply -- he might have been having a rough day, I'm sure he'll have ideas later... but his suggestion to read back in the forum is a good tip regardless.

Anyone visited a massage parlor by the name of "Ð? Nh? T"? I believe that translates to "First". Anyway, heard some great things about the place and know it is located on Hoang Van Thu in the Tan Binh district. Think they just do HJ but they give a good massage and have attractive girls. I heard the current rate is 70k for a ticket, 100k tip. De Nhat[/QUOTE]This is 'the first' hotel establishment. It's a 4 star Hotel which is pretty nice if you want to be close to the airport way. The massage parlor of the same name is directly across the road (same owner), and is pretty much the same as all the other 'touchy' massage places in town.
The girls come and go, the rooms all have glass panels half way; so really how much fun can you really have.
Ticket is around 70k or 80k and then tip is up to you. 100k is probably a bit low if the girl gives you some extras. But that's up to each person's discretion.

Not sure this is still valid but some time ago I went to this MP (dont know the name) on Tran Nhat Duat, not far from your Hot Toc place.
This is the regular MP (HJ standard) but if you negotiate, then she would come to your place for some actions. I think they wont do FS at the premises. I dont remember her exact name but I think it started with T. She is/was a bit chubby for me but provided enthusiastic BBBJs and a multiple number of FSs for the fees.
