As I walked upstairs, she came to attention, and waited for me to offer the obligitory Ola! Although she was in 4-inch pumps, it was easy to see she was an ideal natural height of 5'6" with a weight of 125lbs. Her top was a C cup, and after being escorted inside by her arm and arm, then being granted the freedom to sample, it was easy to deternine these were not after-market bolt-ons, but in fact, original equipment. Her long black hair was like strands of silk, and flowed perfectly down her mid-back in the fan-swept air of the club's main dance-room. We walked over to the bar and without hesitation, I requested a Dos Eques XX dark so the bartender would not think I was there for "take-out". (Usually very deeply frowned on by management of such establishments.) While I sucked down my beer, my bronze goddess continued to play with my ear and massage my neck, all the time suggesting we head to one of the back rooms. Rather than rush, I decided to play with her assets to see just how much would actually be on the menu once we retired to more comfortable surroundings. The more I played, the more playground area she provided. When things got down to brass-tacks, she told me it was. 4 for a room, and. 10 for her. I told her while I wanted to know her even better, the price was too high. I countered with. 10 for everything, and she walked over to the manager / bartender who after a few words agreed. Just like senior-members mentioned here on the thread, you can find quality for a fair price, you just have to be a gentleman and stick to your guns. (But it also helps to acknowledge the laws of supply and command, as there were 5-6 putas and only two gringos; me and a drunken fat-bastard who was more interested in proving he liked to lick pussy than seriously offer to provide anything more.)

As I looked around, I was able to inventory the "supply" and found that of the 5 or 6 putas, one (my bronze goddess) was a solid 9; another was a solid 8 (just a little heavier than my goddess but other than that, VERY nice.) two were a 6 and one was no better than a 5. Now with options like that, and costs for quality companionship not exceeding. 10 in a comfortable, private A / C room, who can complain?

The only disappointment of the experience was that the rest of my party called me on my cell (why did I ever answer it damn it!) telling me they were hot, tired, hungry, sun burned, and wanted to head back to the ship a little early. Needless to say, I had to inform my bronze goddess that our tryst would have to wait until my potential return this coming November.

I asked her if I could have her digits, which she happily provided. If I can time it right, I should be able to cut-out the middleman nextime, and pay her directly during my next trip to Cozo. That would make for an extra-special time indeed!

Just about every one of them is listed there. Exact addresses as well. You can't miss.

As I mentioned in my previous post,"take out" is frowned upon by the managers of the clubs. Even if you got them to agree to take-out (it will cost you) the girls stick out like sore thumbs in most of the hotels. It can be done, but you really need to know what you're doing. I would not advise it. It is better to go back to their place. Many of these girls are single, or help feed the family by "working" so you're better off going that route.

I'll be diving in Cozumel for a week in March and plan on playing some while I'm there. Between this board, the monger map, and Google Street View, I think I can make the most of my free time. Any updates on current rates, club preferences, or new openings / closings? With my schedule and being on the go until the evenings, I doubt I'll get to sample Club Salsa, but my plan is to check out Bar & Co as a first option. If I have time, I'd like to take a peak inside La Pacha for more local flavor and private dances. As fallbacks, I'm leaning toward California Club, Cigar Bar, and Platinos (in that order). I doubt I'll be brave enough to venture there alone, but if I'm feeling adventurous, I might even check out Yum Chak / Trebol II. I'm just not thrilled about the idea of venturing down a narrow dirt road to a walled compound when I'm alone, by myself, in the dark, in a foreign country, with a pretty significant language barrier. I'll give a report when I get home. Any updated information would be much appreciated.

On the Mardi Gras question, I was on a cruise that was docked at Cozumel on Mardi Gras last year. The word was that they did have a Mardi Gras party in the evening, but the cruise ship left the port before dark, so we didn't get to check it out. I'm guessing that the Cozumel bar, Fat Tuesday, might be a good starting point for Mardi Gras.

In doing some research on possible places to play, I ran across a few past reports of local authorities making sweeps to check health cards. The sweeps included the usual suspects that have been much-discussed in this thread like Salsa, Platinos, California, and BarCo. The sweeps also included some other places that I had not heard of before, like:

Bicho's Karaoke Bar (corner of 5 Sur & 60 Av Sur) the entrance mentions "Bellas Chicas", which I'm taking as a good sign) ;

Copa Cabana (65th between 5 Sur & Morelos) ;

El Camarote (65th between 3 Sur & Salas) ;

Gusano Rojo (corner of Juarez & 75 Av Sur) ;

La Jungla (corner of 8 Nte & 50 Av Nte) ; and.

La Caverna de Rex (30 Av Sur between Morelos & 3 Sur).

Does anyone have any experience or info on any of these locations? Thanks!

All of the Bar Girls are required to have "Health Cards" because many of them are available after work if they like you and your wallet enough. Not speaking Spanish is often a much greater obstacle in these bars than in the regular brothels.

The best place by far is Pacha. It opens between 8 and 9 at night. Ask for Benito (a waiter) or Fransisco (the manager). Tell them Tomas sent you. You will not get any special deals but the will look out for you, give you good service and remember you.

There is a New Club (Embassy Club) a little before Barco (from the cruse ship pier) on the same side of the street. $6. 00 US beers. 2 chicas when I was there (Early, possibly the first day of operation). One of them (real name Jessica) I have known for some years. She is tough and masculine (possibly a transvestite). Look for a missing tooth, (she says her boyfriend knocked it out in a fist fight).

I will be in Cozumel for a week in March. What are your dates? Maybe we could do a little touring together. I am familiar with most (maybe all) of the brothels on Cozumel.

Thanks for the update and useful information. I'll be there the week of March 18-25. I won't have a lot of free time but should be able to get out 3 or 4 nights for a few hours at a time. I am also often in Flamboyas in the afternoon. Flamboyas is kitty corner from the Casona Real Hotel downtown. I generally wear a grey tee shirt and black shorts.

The reports here were very helpful on my first night out. Platino's & Green House have apparently closed. I made a couple of quick recon stops at about 9:30 at Barco & the new place near there that Grey mentioned. Barco had probably 8 or 9 girls, and I was the only customer. No cover, but they charged 100 pesos for a beer, the girls were too aggressive for my taste, and I didn't see any that caught my interest. I prefer some time to survey the scene unmolested, and that just wasn't going to happen there, so I left before finishing my first beer. Sorry, but no intel on rates. The new place just a few doors down looked pretty cool. They asked for a $5 cover & took 50 pesos. There were about 10 guys there, only 2 girls, and the one that looked pretty good from behind was entertaining the group of about 10 guys, so I left without even buying a beer. Next stop, La Pacha. Two girls & not many guys at first. My favorite place by FAR. Laid back, no cover, beers for me 40 pesos, beers for girls 200 pesos. Very laid back. The waiter, Benito, was great. He visited for awhile, then brought one of the girls over to my table. She spoke no English & was older than I had in mind when I arrived, but she won me over, and I had a great time. Private dance was 200 for 2 songs, and it was VERY good, so I decided to get a room with her. 400 for the room & 1000 for her. I probably could've negotiated lower, but she had won me over by then, and I thought it was a fair offer, so I didn't haggle. It was true GFE, she was DEFINITELY carinosa, and I had a great time with her. A BIG thank you to Grey for paving the way & for putting in a good word for me with Benito. Grey even arrived while I was there. I enjoyed visiting with him and hope to get a chance to do a little touring with him later this week. I didn't get a chance to make it to Salsa while it was open, but it sounds pretty good as well, and I hope to make it there before I leave.
