What's your problem with Scottuish dancing?
Try everything once except incest and Scottish dancing
I watched some fantastic hand movements a few nights ago and now I am watching kids at it. Great. Scottish war pipers are the best there are and cannot be praised enough.
Not a senior here, but can share my experience
May I ask the more experienced members what the usual rates are here? I do not want to overpay or contribute to inflation.
1) What is the average rate in PHP for a pretty 20-24 why girl in Pina Love for LT.
2) What should I propose as daily allowance for traveling one week to Coron? (I do not want to be there alone).
3) Is Quest across Ayala a good place to stay for a few days.
I'm in good shape, Italian living in the US, but I'm 63 which doesn't help.
I'll be in Cebu on May 23rd and I'the be happy to take you out for lunch, dinner, or drinks and chat with you. PM me!
Hello Arthur,
1 and 2. I have been using PL with age range 23 - 29 and for LT (5/6 hours to overnight stay also) have been paying 3 k+transport. Most are ok with this. Even for Boracay and Panglao trips of a week each I have paid similar. 2.5 k / day. And obviously shouldering all expenses.
3. Yes. Quest is a good place. No hassle entry of birds. Registering at front desk and deposit ID. Good for us also. Decent rooms and good food. Close to Ayala (though I haven't had any hit there as few mention to have had in the terraces or BOs Coffee).
I have posted my travel plan on the travel announcements forum. Will be landing Cebu on 23rd May. Go straight moalboal for a week.
Will be back to Cebu on 30th and stay till 7th June. In one of the apartments in Solinea towers, close to Quest. Then proceed to Angeles and Manila for 2 weeks.
If you are around at Cebu same dates. Love to catch up and maybe share some references too.
All the best. Happy mongering.
Regards.

Airbnb visitor entry policy
Thanks Ram and Goferring, appreciated.
Yes, the inexperience tax is unavoidable, but you gave me GREAT info!
The most encouraging one is "Being 63 doesn't matter. " 😁.
Ram, I didn't consider Airbnb because I was unsure about the local guest-friendly policy, but since you preferred an apartment, I think I should reconsider them too. I'll ask the host about their policy..
Arthur,
I had read lot of posts here, before I planned to try out AirBnbs.
Before booking, discussed in detail about the visitor entry policy.
- Overnight stay?
- how many max permitted at any given time?
- Any advance info to be provided.
And few more things.
The policies varied from Host to Host.
In my last trip stayed in Makati in couple of them (booked after complete clarification).
Both were hassle free. But basic security ensured. And less than half the price of hotels. But individual priorities and choices matter.
In smaller apartment complexes, as many seniors have suggested, tipping the security guards works well and ensures safety and hassle free movement. Bigger ones like gramercy. Not much help by security as too many changes. Maybe helpful for longer stays.
With the past confident experience. In my upcoming trip have booked Airbnb at Cebu, Angeles, Baguio and Makati, again after detail discussion with host. Only in moalboal staying at a dive resort.
All the very best.
Regards.

Pelaez Street – Cebu's naughty playground for local Pinoys
I've now visited Cebu twice in the past month. It's well known that the eastern stretch of General Maxilom Avenue (Mango Ave.) is the sexy entertainment district for foreigners. On my recent 7 evenings of playing around there, I haven't seen any Pinoy customers in the bars. Only seemingly well-heeled foreigners enjoying the company of fun, attentive, and moderately-attractive dancers and hostesses.
I've had plenty of enjoyment drinking and flirting at the Howling Dogs 1 and 2, Bamboozers, and the Barcode bars. But last night, I was ready to check out some new territory.
So where do the local horndogs go to play? Pelaez Street, in the Colon district.
I've always avoided the area due to rumors it's unsafe for outsiders. But I took a chance and made my first ever nighttime visit to the area. I voiced my concerns to the Grab taxi driver, who said that in recent years the city has stationed more police officers in the evenings to help reduce the mayhem. Made me feel slightly more at ease.
Had the Grab driver drop me off at the Pussycat Bar at around 10:30 pm. It's located at the intersection of Pelaez and Sanciangko Streets. He said there were also a couple of girlie bars located on the west side of Pelaez south of the intersection.
So I strolled down Pelaez on the crowded sidewalk past the numerous restobars and clubs. As I passed by a couple of LED-lighted doorways, lesbian-looking touts tried to entice me to enter by asking "bikini bar, sir"? Maybe later, as my first visit was going to be to the Pussycat Bar.
Why the Pussycat? Go to Facebook and search "Pussycat Bar Cebu". I've never seen a strip club anywhere in the world post panorama videos of their club's interior during working hours. Clips of dancers gyrating on stage along with girls sitting with their customers on black vinyl-covered benches. A couple of the gal's looks weren't too hideous, so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try.
No entrance fee. Customer beers cost P100 and lady's drinks (LD's) run P350. I didn't notice any secluded VIP rooms while there and a Facebook posting indicated that the girls are not allowed to leave on barfine outings.
The owners of the Pussycat operate two locations, with the second one being on Lapu Lapu Island. After climbing the stairs, it soon hit me that the videos were shot at the island location, which has a much nicer interior and much prettier women.
As for the quality of the hostesses in the Pelaez bar, I was shocked by their haggard looks. I've gone to numerous Filipino-centric girlie bars in many Philippine cities, and this bevy of undesirables was among the worst quality I've seen. Fatter and uglier than I expected.
Filipino customers tend to like their dancers to be chubby with body fat-enhanced blobs oozing out of their bikini tops, so I'm used to the drill. And it stands to reason that low-budget clubs are going to attract low-quality dancers.
But what they lacked in looks they definitely made up for with attention. They greeted me very enthusiastically yet a bit shyly, as it was obvious their English skills weren't polished. I'm a talker who loves engaging in conversation while sharing drinks with a hostess or dancer, so after a couple of minutes I took a liking to the best communicator, named Sophia.
Sophia wasn't fat and ugly, but instead was a rather plain looking and solidly-built 30-year-old with light skin and a bit of belly fat. A blah girl who had no business being in a strip club. But she was talkative, attentive, loads of fun, and seemed very attracted to me.
She's been working there for 7 months and said I was her first foreigner customer ever. In fact, she says it is rare that a foreigner customer ever drops by, as it is a scuzzy bar located in a scuzzy area.
At Mango Avenue clubs, LD's consist of either watered down mixed cocktails or small shots of fortified alcohol, both of which are downed quickly. Your tab can spiral upward rapidly if you give in to her requests to continually refill her empty glass to keep the fun going. It's the price we pay and the protocol we rich foreigners are expected to follow to have a good time playing with the beauties.
But at the Pussycat, as in all other Filipino-centric strip clubs, the LD's are 330 ML bottles of San Miguel products or 500 ML stallions of Red Horse. Most Filipino customers tend to buy only one LD, which the girls nurse slowly.
She was surprised and appeared happy when I quickly offered to buy her a LD. Even happier when I pulled the trigger for LD's #2 and #3. We started off chatting, then moved to holding hands as she kept commenting how handsome I am (yeah, she needs her vision checked).
Soon she started cuddling in close with her arms around my shoulders and face nuzzling my neck. During beer #2, we began smooching, which quickly turned into full tongue DFK with some finger-rubbing nipple action under her top as she moaned appropriately.
By beer #3, she was rubbing my cock and positioning my free hand on her upper thigh, where I fingered her pubic area without complaint. All this was done out in the open within view of the other gals playing on their phones. When I pointed out the prying eyes from the back of the room, she replied, "I don't care what they think".
I spent around 2 hours there. 3 LD's and 2 customer beers set me back P1,250.
Yeah, I had a better-than-expected time, as I really get off on perving and flirting while onsite at a club. This area of town is perfect for the guy who loves being the center of attention as an exotic fish in a small pond.
Will I return? Maybe in the future to check out a couple of the nearby bikini bars for informational purposes. I doubt I'll return to the Pussycat as the quality of the dancers was too putrid. But I'm glad I went, as now I have another story to tell the guys back home.
