Kenya Report: Some tips & tricks
here are some tips and tricks that might be useful:
cialis
something that surprises me is that the use of potency pills hasn't been discussed much in this forum. i would never go on a mongering trip without my pills; it would be like leaving minimum half or more of the travel budget at home! it's a lot of discussion about paying 500ks more or less for a short or long time, but imho, nothing gives you more value for money than cialis..
what i mean is this; if i use cialis i can perform 3-6 times more often than without. if you haven't used these pills you probably think it's bullshit, but honestly it isn't. the first night in nairobi i contracted two girls and they figured out all by themselves that something was really weird with my potency; they swore that i had fucked 10 times the first 24 hours and they wanted to know what kind of chemicals i was using and if they could have some as well.
10 times is probably an exaggeration but not far from the truth. i was really horny as it was my first night and with two different girls that you can shag one by one or both together (they gave excellent service and the whole thing will be described in a separate report) the only thing that would have stopped me would have been a tired dick. with cialis it simply is no physical limit for how many times that is possible, it will only be the brain that loses interest or not. if you are economically sensed you will only pay 1/3 to 1/6 of the price per shag with the pills! another advantage is that excessive alcohol consumption doesn't really matter. mr john will try his best and the worst case scenario is that you won't ejaculate.

if you follow sensible precautions like not getting to drunk or being rude/aggressive against strangers, use taxi when dark etc there is no reason to be worried about travelling in kenya. but one good advice is to have your own taxi driver. with the local simcard there is no problem to communicate with him. examine the driver sober and follow your gut feeling, is he ok, stick with him for the rest of the trip. the first driver i used in mombasa did not give me the right feeling so i changed to a guy called paul (to the first ones very great dismay and rudeness which proved to me that my gut feeling was right…).
when i arrive at a place i haven't been to before i spend the first day visiting all places i possibly can. after that i have a feeling for where to go and not and can focus on the fun part; hunting. the first night in mombasa i contracted paul to drive me around the whole evening to cheers, safari, causarina, tembo, casablanca and florida. the cost was 2.000 ks and it was well-spent money.
as distance is more important than time for the driver you can as well bring him in to all places this first night. the advantage is that he knows the places and how to move around (i would for example not myself have found the strip club inside casablanca very quickly as it is separated from the disco and i didn't expect to see one either), but another great thing is that you don't have to worry this first night as you actually have a kind of bodyguard with you. casablanca is for example not located in the nicest areas and before you know what's normal and what's not there is no reason to walk around in unknown territory as a fat wallet. the only disadvantage is that you will end the night with a drunken driver…
hunting service
paul was really helpful in other tight situations. i saw a true model-looking women at causarina that really turned me on! the only little problem was that she quit apparently was their with her kenyan boyfriend for dinner and dance. as black guys sometime can be quit big i thought it would be a bad idea to just disturbed their dancing and ask for her telephone number in front of her boyfriend. but no worries! i asked paul to do it for me! and it didn't take long before he had explained to her who wanted the number and why.. no he didn't say why but i got the number anyway. all without the boyfriend suspecting me for steeling his honey. now, the point is this; yes, she has a petite body for kenyan standards but she certainly doesn't look ****. according to paul the whole charade was to see if she lacked the id card - if so, they would have handcuffed me and waited for a bribe. according to paul, a few hundred ks would have been enough to get away.
things to be learned; be aware that the police might frame you in order to get bribed, make sure the girl has an id when travelling around, and certainly, don't get involved with **** girls in anyway.

* incident 2: handcuffs in the luggage
i had brought with me toy handcuffs covered with pink fake fur. it's the kind of handcuffs that can be easily opened without key so they can never be used as real ones.
they where in my big luggage to be checked in (in other words; i obviously didn't intend to bring them into the cabin to be used for hijacking). when i was going thru the first security check before check-in, they were discovered and i was asked why i had them etc. "it's no real handcuffs i said, have them just for fun". the security officer let it be, but kept the handcuffs. i didn't care about it, didn't want to have a public fight over handcuffs with fake pink fur anyway.
but, when i was standing by the check-in it heated up. a senior female officer approach me together with the first security officer and started to interrogate me about the handcuffs while the other wrote down everything from my passport. she repeatedly asked from where i got them and what the intended use was. my gut feeling was that she knew very well i wasn't an al qaida copy cat. i believe she wanted me to say "i brought them with me in order to handcuff kenyan prostitutes, which is the only reason why i have come to your beautiful country".
i believe in honesty but i also believe in exceptions so i told her i bought them from a german guy in mombasa, and no, i didn't receive any receipt, as he was just another tourist. on the repeated question why i bought them i just repeatedly said "just for fun".
after a while she gave up, kept the handcuffs and leaved.
i hope i don't will have a problem with visa next time and… no…i will not bring handcuffs with fake pink fur anymore.
safari
to go on safari is sort of obligatory when you go to kenya and you probably should have at least a few pictures to show up when you come home in order to avoid suspicious thoughts.
the best safari is around voi, a city approx 5 hours with bus from nairobi and 3 hours from mombasa. there is some nightlife in voi but i don't recommend it.
i brought two girls with me from nairobi on the two-day safari journey. a real hit that i can recommend. i stayed at tsavo lodge and paid about 5.000 ks per night, beer in the bar was 190 ks each. expensive, but that’s everything around safari. i tried another place first that had swimming pool, red elephant lodge, but they where apparently not very girl friendly as they wanted to have about 5.000 ks per person!
the cost for 4-5 hours safari of is about 4.000 - 6.000 ks including entrance fee and depending on the type of car. a normal "cab" worked well for me and is cheaper than a van. the advantage with a van is that it has an open roof allowing you to stand up and look around. it is of course better but it worked out well having a normal car.
i will post a separate report on the safari trip and in particular the experiences of being with the same two girls for 4 nights.

karaoke
in my home country, no one with less than 3 years of academic studies in music and singing would ever go up and perform karaoke. not so in kenya.
if you think karaoke is boring because its just semi-professionals doing it, this is your chance, the kenyans have really embraced the true soul of karaoke. they are so utterly, catastrophically bad in singing that you just can't stop laughing. i highly recommend a stop at a kenyan karaoke bar!
it is a bar/restaurant just in front of terminal hotel (nairobi), outside the entrance to nakumat mall, which had a karaoke night when i was there.
bus as an alternative
i didn't get any air ticket to nairobi from mombasa. they were sold-out and i had to take the bus instead. if money is a concern for you but time isn't, you can as well take the bus between nairobi and mombasa. the price for air ticket is (according to posts on this forum) between 8.000 and 14.000 ks (roundtrip). the price for bus is 700 ks (one way) and takes about 8 hours, mostly, but not always, on good roads. there are several different bus companies and they leave for each city several times per day.
the bus and bus trip is not bad at all as a part of your travel experience. bring some snacks and drink (don't drink beer, there is no toilet on the bus) and it is quit ok. the bus will stop once for eating.
a fotnote: when i paid for the bus ticket at the bus station the price was clearly 700 ks, but the cashier just refused to give back any change on my 1.000 ks bill. the lesson is to always have change enough to be able to pay the exact amount.
