Believe it or not, the problem is NOT race -- it's language. I have lived here for something like 15 years and am as white as Casper the Friendly Ghost, but I can count on one hand the number of times that refusal has taken place outside of the "glass houses". Those are an unusual case and yes, the glass houses suffer from a racism problem. However, barber shops, outcall massage, room salons, turkish saunas, and all the other places are wide open to a decent Korean speaker. It is incredibly rare to be turned away from these places.
