Basher 55 incrediably lucky finding 3 PRC's in a row that are willing to play at Greek and even more so to have a DP experience. Typically in AD PRC's won't entertain it at all with only the odd exception. Also, quite rare to find a girl who does 2 guys together let alone DP. Often happy 2 girls to one guy though...roll on my birthday Miss X has an idea! Haven't the heart to say been there before several times! :)

Just for the record anyone looking for Greek with a PRC over in 'lil ol AD it is very unlikely. Quick check with Miss X (my GF) and she has a curious interest with me, 'maybe', but 'you break my ass baby!'. None of her old WG friends admit to it!

Agree with MK, can be VERY hit and miss, but I have found some gems in there on occasion. Usually, at least with the PRC, a number of newly arrived ones looking to start the cash flow, and some experienced ones, bored in the afternoons, to augment their income.

It closes between 4pm to 6pm.

[b]decimated[/b] york? just goes to show the cyclical nature of le's attention, and i had heard from rogue5 that york was picking up again.[/list]so i'll submit that the cause of the cyclone rep001tering is the pressure applied by le, not by punters. given that an le stop can be [i]career[/i] [u]ending[/u], i don't find it surprising that [i]cyclonettes[/i] are moving elsewhere until the temperature cools.

besides its [i]known[/i] status (need to make a quota of wg detentions, no better place to find), i wonder if some of le's attention at cyclone is due to the earlier reports of africans soliciting business outside the club near closing time. might be close to 3am, few civilians around (though there are some legit entertainment complexes near cyclone), but any non-discreet action is sure to draw the ire of le. inside clubs, with security checks, no hidden cameras, only cellphone ones, but outside... the one thing dxb wants to avoid at all costs is bad publicity.

but cyclone is cylone. that businessman on an expense account, that contractor back from iraq... they won't bat an eye at the cyclone prices. cyclone is an institution; been so for a long time; there are reasons why. when cyclone closes, i'll know p4p is finished in dxb.

Hi Folks,

Just a report on a bit of PI action last night.

Arranged with Abse2 to meet at Jockeys for 10 pm then proceed to Rock City at the Highland - first visit for both of us I may add.

As a banker I had arranged to meet up with a couple of PI I already know, just in case the pickings were slim, with it being Sunday night etc.

For info Rock City bar is in Highland Hotel (formerly Arif Castle), in door towards carpeted stairs on right, up one floor to mezzanine level.

Arrived to find usual door policy in place - free for those who look like they are going to buy beer etc.

Inside, dark dank and dull, very loud (crap) PI band with some mega fit dancers to add a little eye candy. Warning take table as far back as possible or suffer instant deafness.

Beer prices 20 dhms bottle so not over the top.

Place fairly empty, 6 or 8 pool players at 2 tables, and around 6 mainly PI girls at another table, plus 4 or 5 punters including us.

Girls arrived as planned, but I had left arrangements loose, ie they show us the place and introduce us to some of their friends etc etc.

Pretty soon we are at table with 4 or 5 PI all happy and smiling as ever.

Bar filled slowly, with it being Sunday this was as expected, around equal number of (mainly local) punters and girls arriving as night went on.

At midnight a quick count showed 12 PI girls, 6 African and 4 CIS, along with equal number of punters all semi-interested.

Having been introduced to all the PI, we made our pick. Both Abse2 and I would have taken the babe called Nicole but we were informed by my guide that it was wrong week for her and she was only socialising so as not to be alone in the room back in Diera.

PI Mamasan was present, ushering girls around trying to drum up business from disinterested locals. Fortunately the 2 PI that I had agreed to meet were both freelance (balance paid) so mamasan had no say in their activities. She was, however a bit pissed that the girls may have been 'hogging' 2 potential customers of her non-freelance harem.

Throughout the evening the 2 PI we were with kept asking if we were going to take them, or did we want a different girl, they would be happy to step aside, such is the nature of the PI, they rarely argue over business, unlike other nationalities.
At around 2 am, we were suitably refreshed and frankly fed-up with the crap band, and with no better offerings to be had, decided it was time to depart - incidentally each of us with the girls we had originally met up with. I could have saved a fortune in booze prices and just called them round, but at least we had experienced a different venue.

Just then I noticed a new babe, semi blond PI, very young and obviously very new to the scene as her shyness showed. In my experience PI are naturally shy, but this girl was positively hiding. The mamasan pushed her out a couple of times, but there were no takers so she went and hid again.

Being the monger that i am, I waited for mamasan to go out to the ladies and was immediately across to her table, at the risk of upsetting the girl I was with. Fortunately she knows the rules and didnt dare complain.

New girl was a beauty, 21 yrs old, 3rd day in DXB and totally bewildered, not really into the swing of things as yet, but looked like she would be a good one to know. Problem was I already had a girl and had to get up for work at 6.30 am, therefore my calculations that the high price this girl would command via mamasan would be wasted on what would basically be ST for me.

With her fone number safely stored and a potential booking for later in the week when I could give her more of my time, therefore maximising the return, off I went back to my babe of the night.

Abse2 left shortly before me, laughing at the way I did things, but
'Hey it works for me'

I retired with my PI freebie, well it was ST after all!

Summing things up, the bar is crap, the PI are fairly mediocre IMHO, but there are, as i found out, the odd gems to be had.

I observed that apart from us and one other, virtually no business took place at all - the girls must be desperate.

Definitely worth a visit on a weekend to see how many more PI are available there.

I totally agree with you on the LE/CID issue as the main cause for the migration of the girls, but that problem has been a serious issue ongoing for more than a month now. Almost every Cyclone WG you speak to will give you the same answer - 'Too much Police/CID'

Along with the migration of the girls has come the lack of punter interest as well. Lets face it, any well heeled business man, GI on R&R from Iraq etc etc will still be willing to use the place on the grounds of its nature ie First Class, mostly attractive Girls.

That is until the knowledge of the current migration hits them in the face, either when they go there and notice the difference, hear the news through friends or media such as this, or get arrested outside in the company of a WG.

My question was, has Cyclone suffered the current deficit at its own hands?
All bars suffer from the actions of the LE/CID from time to time, but they seem to prevail and things return to normal, Cyclone will probably do the same.

What we all need is to realise that, particularly at the moment, it is not the only place to find the A Class WG's and promote the other bars accordingly, that way Cyclone may have to mould itself towards giving the punters a little back in order to attract the return of both girls and punters - I can but wish.

As for the death of Cyclone being synonymous with the death of the mongering scene in DXB, there is absolutely no chance of that ever.
If the place burned to the ground tomorrow, what would happen - nothing, except of course a total migration to pastures new.

We poor mongers, including you and I with the 500 Dhm ceilings can live in hope, but until then I for one will enjoy the scenery at more ordinary venues such as the Seaview, and maybe partake of the offerings on hand whilst prices are slumbering.

Fellas, i was last in dubai nov/dec. I went to cyclone most nights, i noticed it was not as busy to my previous visits. (any1 remember 2-3 years back)? If all the these lookers are starting to leave cyclone where the f..k are they now going.

I was at all the usualt places, so they def are not going to rattlesnake/ regal. I personally reckon premiere at the hyatt. But interesting to hear places like seaview are getting a mention becoz they're used to be fuck all ahppening in there.
Shame though about cyclone b'coz in my eyes there will never be a place like that again. and i mean seriuous cattle market.
Cant wait to get back. England is fucking freezing. C my few friends from this forum in a couple of weeks.

as for le action in dubai – is the government of dubai trying to evolve the city into a wholesome family tourist destination? one can only speculate.
