I only go to Russia about once a year now, so I can't say I follow the situation closely. I first went back in 1996 and was frequently accosted in my hotel lobby by amazing 20 year beauties offering all night for 100 dollars, even a girl behind one of the desks in the reception just came up and said 'Do you wan seks', right in front of other staff! And then the phone in the room would go off at 11 pm every night offering sex, girls in the street would come up and ask the time and then ask what you're doing later. Those were the days! Quite a shock coming from the US. I suppose I was young then too, not 60 like today! Since then I've been about 10 times and it's steadily got more expensive and the quality has eroded away somewhat. Nightlight in Moscow was the go-to for awhile but that got filled up with hardened pros. Still if you have the cash there're really beauties to be had still, but it's no longer shooting fish in the barrel as Cucumber says.

After finally reading TFF, I understood that its already a consensus here in the forum at least 2 things:

1-St. Petersburg is better in salons (and the prices compared to Moscow are a bit lower).

2-The Strip clubs are in Moscow (and the prices compared to St. Peter are a bit higher).

I wish I could recommend you some strip clubs in Petersburg, but unfortunately I am rather a saloni monger, so maybe another user can recommend you better than me.

But as a city (in general) I like more Petersburg, this beauty grey melancholy is just fine with me.

I am looking for an actual strip club, without sex. Maybe more like an American style club where you can watch the pole dancers while enjoying a few drinks and maybe get a lap dance or two. If anyone else could recommend a place or two, it would be great!

A big pity Karamelki chain closed. They were IMO the best lining up salon chain in town.

Do you know why are they dead? Has it something to do with the mussarov (cops)?

I've been to Peter. Nice beautiful city. Just the weather is not my cup of tea.

There is some action going on on Kazankaya 35 (enter the yard, go to the left, then I think 1st floor, or Russian Etagi 2) ring and wait. I don't know the name of this place but the girls were nice. 4 girls lined up. I tried Sasha, very sexy petite blondinka. Friendly (very important for me). 6 k. Extras cost extra, for ex. Kissing 2 k, maybe other girls have other prices thou (if you are not ugly like me maybe you can get cheaper. Just kidding).

Then I visited 2 of four locations of the modeli chain. What was interesting: the prices not only vary between the respective locations, but the logic of the price difference I didn't get: I tried first Gostnyy Dvor branch, the price was 3 k for 1 h. For the bareback BJ I paid 2 k extra. 3 girls available, I chose the blond Simona. The next day I went to the Ligovsky branch, the price was more expensive: 5 k. I didn't understand the logic because, quite frankly the interior of Gostnyy Dvor was bigger and more modern. And truth being said, the girls were better also. Again 3 girls available on that specific time, I took the Asian one for a change. She was great, no complaint, but I didn't get why they demand more than the their colleagues at Gostnyy.
