I was just pointing out that 90% of the chicas in Sosua come from other parts of the island, so it is very rare that they would travel all the way to Sousa just to party and not sell ass.

I am saying that I have yet to see a Haitian on PC give a second look to ANYONE who was not speaking German. I was looking at the action at Bar Central three nights ago and there were only two types of people there: Germans and Haitians. They seem to have a thing going on and I have no problem with that at all.

If they do, in fact, interact with non-German mongers then they hide it very well out on the street.

I myself have never pulled s Haitian chica from Bar Central (the closest I've ever been to that bar was when I passed in front of it). It's not to say that any Haitian chica I've taken doesn't spend time there, but I wouldn't have known since I did not meet them at Bar Central.

You should be able to find some Haitian chicas hanging around Rumba's and Merengue Bar. I've never seen them in Classicos much though.

As far as there being only Germans inside you are mistaken as there are a lot of Canadians, Dominicans, and other nationalities inside as well. The notion that the Haitians inside won't give a second look to a non German speaking person is ridiculous. I would be happy to accompany you inside and show you how much attention and immediate interaction I can get by just smiling at any one of the girls inside.

I am surprised that no one else on this board who was in Classicos on Friday night has mentioned her. She was not the normal hottie, she was head and shoulders above the other hotties in height and in looks. Why did so many other guys not go up to her? As a poster has said its probably a good thing that she ignored me. I tend to be somewhat idiotic around women like that. In the past I have spent tons of money on civilians who look like her and got nothing in return. I had 12,000 pesos in addition to US $ in my room safe, who knows reasonable service and a couple smiles from her and she may have ended up with it all. Anyway, I settled on a SDO babe, 5 ft 10 ins, great body, see-cups, amazing bootie, a little above average face. I didn't mean to imply that there was absolutely no one else in the bar but Germans and Haitians even though that is pretty much what I wrote. Words on a screen don't convey "tongue in cheek" conversation very well.

I know that there are all sorts there and at each other establishment. My point was that the vast majority of the interactions seemed to be between German speakers and Haitian chicas. Especially guys who looked to be in their 60's (older than me) and petite, young Haitian women.

I was actually at Bar Central during World Cup so I am not unfamiliar with the vibe. I don't think there would be any trouble if I talked to a Haitian girl. I just feel, from what I've seen and experienced, that getting that easy going back and forth that one gets with many of the Dominicanas would be more difficult with the Haitian chicas.

Frankly, they look preoccupied with fear most of the time so I don't think it is me, necessarily, since I understand their position in town is NOT good. If I were them I guess I'd stick to what I know and what is safe too (German guys at Bar Central).

If on my next trip I see a large number of Haitian ladies on the arms of guys I don't hear speaking German then I will take it all back.

My fear is that even after talking to the sour faced (but hot) chicas, buying them a few drinks and dancing with them for a while you will be dealing with an all business chica back at the room who is all "leche, papi rapido" and keeping an eye on the exit.

In my limited Sosua experience, the chicas who easily return your smile and clearly show other signs of interest have been the ones who don't do that infamous personality flip back in the room. They started out fun at Rumba or Classico and the fun continued at the hotel.

Look, I admit the problem may be me. I tend to just hang back when I'm out and I don't play the "look at me!! Party Guy" role I see dudes take on after a couple of drinks.

I speak only a little Spanish but I make sure my hygiene is top notch, my clothes clean and sharp and when I see a chica I like I smile and approach so I don't think I am spreading any negativity their way when I am on the prowl (at least I hope not).

So I can only surmise that SOME (not all) of the 8's, 9's and 10's DO have attitude and will reject most gringos unless they see a true payday (one pop, $100).

As I've said, I am still newbie-ish so I'd love to hear some input from you 5 and 10 year vets on the attitude of the chicas now vs. A couple of years ago in Sosua.

I see some of the most slovenly older guys with the top chicas and I figured it was because these guys pay top dollar for about 20 pumps then *BOOM* leche.
