Pattaya Trip Report. Day 7
Day 7 (Saturday).
This was a lazy day. I seem to be getting a cold, as I have a tiny bit of post nasal drip going on causing a bit of coughing and my bones / muscles are a little sore (well, I wonder why.). I went out for a legit massage and that helped. Still, I need some pain medicine for a returning headache. Other than lunch, I stay inside until late to work on these reports and rest. The Flipper does have a decent breakfast, and ants like it too. I had to walk past several tables to find one that not full of ants. Even the room had some bugs. Little quarter-inch things I see at night plus a few German cockroaches. I am not too squeamish, but never saw bugs at the Dynasty and, no, a few bugs won't make me not come back here. I don't like the lack of cabinetry with no drawers to put stuff away in. That is a bummer. The bathroom is nice, with a tub / shower combination, but no shower curtain or anyway to contain the water when showering. The whole room can get wet, and I knell down when showering. And it is noisy here at night. The AC drowns a lot of it out so if you are tired you will be able to sleep. I travel with a noise machine, and I am using it here to also help drown out the noise every further, but I think I could sleep ok even without it. But the room is bright and I can't sleep past 8 AM. I did bring some shades I got on the airplane. Just have to did them out. Despite this criticism, I would stay here again.
