Rio de Janeiro Reports

I left rio about a week ago but have been meaning to post as I was having too good of a time to sit down and write. I don't remember all the prices for the places so if you need that info ask a veteran I'm just a first time rookie.

4 x4 Termas.

Went back a few times here as many poster's have stated it's their favorite place and I can see why. I actually went here on my 3rd day here but it seems I went to the bar area on the first floor instead of the actual terma which is on the second floor and who's door is on the left side of the building. Big difference. Same set up as Monte Carlo or Solarium but is pretty cheap or in my opinion best value for money. It was 70 BRL (drinks are included with the price I believe I only ordered water and some soda so I didn't see much of bump in the total) for entrance and 230 BRL for 30 mins with a girl. No difference if you paid cash or card which is really handy as I hated having to carry cash around all the time. The amount of girls in the place seemed to always be +10 but I went around 6-9 pm which I've been told is the best time to go from other posters and seems to be true for all termas. The girls here are pretty decent and very nice. A good amount of decent to hot girls in this place. Had 3 girls in one night here a thick redhead branca, a tall skinny loira and a petite brunette so the variety of girls here is really good. With everything it came to +900 BRL which is pretty good since all the girls I was with were all good performers. Rooms are ok but kinda odd as the toilet is with the shower so if you need to do some business use the bathrooms on the 3rd floor beforehand. Came here my last day as well and again was a good time although I had to leave early to catch my flight back home. I can see why this place get's alot of recommendations.

Solarium Termas.

Went here once but really liked this place. It's out the way from other termas but worth the uber trip. I forget the pricing here but I think it was 90 BRL entrance and 260 BRL for 30/40 mins so just a bit more than 4 x4 but not by much. You can also order some sushi / appetizers so that makes it a bit different from other places. The girls here are really relaxed and two girls came up and chatted with me to explain how the terma worked. None of the girls were asking for a drink or any of that BS. There was a good amount of girls and I had a hard time choosing so the quality was also really good here. I ended up picking this blonde girl with big TA (enhanced. Sigh) she spoke decent english and what got me is that she slid my hand behind her dress and let me finger her in the club. She was a sex crazed nymph so that's all I needed to know! Took her right away. Great session and got her number. Turned out to be a good call as I could hit her up at night for 200 BRL with as many shots I wanted. I was staying at a AirBNB that did not allow girls in the place (I could have brought her up as the doorman didn't seem to care and others seem to bring their girls here but I didn't want to mess with that and possibly get a complaint and BS) she recommended a place called VANITY hotel in copacabana. It was 120 BRL for 3 hour rental and had mirrors all over the place so definitely a good place to check out even if you have a place. She did everything I asked and let me record it all which was the cherry on the top. Really nice and sweet girl. She asked if I would let her get a juice and snack from the minibar which was like $3 USD and when I said sure she was more than thrilled. Really humble girl which was very refreshing to see. I did want to go back to Solarium again but just never got the chance to. Don't remember much of the place but definitely one of the better places in rio.

Monte Carlo Terma.

Went here again after my first bad experience. Came around 6 pm as others have stated that's the best time come. There was only 6 girls and I think one other guy. Girls just approach you unlike the other termas where you have wave them over. Talked to one girl but wasn't really interested. Waited a few minutes and saw a redhead branca that I took. She looked american but didn't speak any english. Great session. The room again was small with no bathroom. It was decent tho compared to the others. MC has to be on my least favorite. Seems to not be as lively as the other termas and the girls seem to want you to buy them a drink and seem pretty bored. Shame as it's the closest one on copa.

Euro Spa Prive.

Found this place on the RIO google map that has all the places marked. It's inside a business complex which seems to be the same for all the PRIVES. It's not listed on the board of workplaces located in the complex but it is there. It has 2 fake flower plants outside it's door. 200 BRL for 1 hour with a girl and 350 for two girls. You get a drink included which is cool. The line up is ok at best. Nothing really outstanding but decent given the price. Came here twice as it opens early and I could get a quick one in the morning before the termas open. It's in barra so good if you're in the area. Room was decent and bigger than the little rooms in the termas. The only thing was the bathroom where you shower was super tight and small. Really hot water only. Honestly that was the worse. I'm not even a big guy so I could only imagine how much worse it would be for others. Both girls gave me a decent massage in the beginning and the performance was definitely worth the money. Would recommend but man that shower still bugs me so just beware of that.

BARRAS VIP.

Found 2 redheads on the site (one of them was called maria salles or something like that) they both were on the site so I asked the salles girl if she knew the other girl and she did. They both were in transamerica hotel in barra. Set it up for 800 BRL (400 each) for 1 hour. The salles girl was a pornstar and she did perform! They both were really great and again I could see why some guys like to stay at this hotel for the convenience. Its got a different name Mediterranean flats but its the place. I was actually thinking of staying here but it's a hit or miss with the quality of the room I've read. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it has mold and other weird stuff. I was on vacation so when I was in barra I got a nice luxury AirBNB that let girls in so I was happy with that. It was a quick 5 min UBER to the hotel so no issues. The escort sites always seem to all over the place in Brazil. Yes there seems to be regular girls that are on the site but the one's I was interested in were always not in town when I was or would appear after a few days. It's really tough to get the one you want unless you check everyday a couple of hours. 300 BRL to 400 BRL seemed to be the norm with UBER if you were in copa when you were in Barra or vice versa.

NOTES.

Didn't go to any of the Boates (Casablanca, perla negra, paris cafe, etc) heard they were a toss up depending on the day and time you go so I just sticked with termas. I didn't go to as many place I would have liked either as I was enjoying the amazing scenery rio had to offer. Great place just to take in the view and explore. I got a girls number in centaruas and she was supposed to take me on a tour of rio but she got tested and found out she got covid. I'm back home but she still zaps me so hopefully when I come back we can make up for lost time. Didn't get to do a pernoite sad to say so that's my goal for next time. Learning up on my portuguese and will try to hit up some worker girls in the mall next time as there was some nice looking chicks there. Would recommend checking the museum of tomorrow located in centro, awesome place with great views. Ipenema beach seems to be the safer beach. I walked the beach at night to the end and it was fairly calm. Copa I walked for a few yards and was already sketched out. Barra was safe but you have to uber everywhere and is only good if you are hitting up girls at transamerica or going to the prives nearby. Copa or ipanema seems to be where you want to be at least for new comers. Centro is definitely the most sketchy part of the city. Almost had my phone taken from me by a guy on a bike but I had strap on it to my hand so he didn't get it but that was the only thing that happened to me. Lots do in this city so I recommend you also check out the many great places all over rio.

If I got anything wrong or missed a few things let me know.

Staying 1 week in both cities although not as extensive as other here on the board has given me some insight that maybe other newcomers will find helpful.

(I came here beginning of Jan so C19 lockdown was in effect and most girls were on vacation / coming back from vacation; so that has to be noted while writing this).

It's hard to compare the two since they are both radically different but the scene is what we really are comparing here.

RIO.

Termas (Suana House / FKKs) / Boates (Clubs) / Prives ("Massages") Acompanhantes (Barras VIP, Private55, etc).

Never been to a Terma or FKK so interesting new experience. It's decent but I was expecting them to be a bit more luxurious. Monte Carlo, Solarium, Centaraus, 4 x4 all follow the same format of 2nd floor being the bar area where the girls hang out, 3rd is where rooms are. You change in the 1st usually with a locker to store your stuff. The Bar area is always small so once you enter all eyes are on you especially if you're the only guy there which happened to me a few times. I like to sit down, drink a bit and scan the room and see my options but that's hard to do when all the girls are ready to pounce on you to get you to go with them. You have to be a bit jaded and straightforward with them if you're not interested. I learned that most if not all termas don't let the girls have their phones with them when they are on the job so they really are bored sometimes because all they can do is sit and stand and wait til someone talks to them. Also from talking to some girls there outside the termas some girls only get one guy or 2 on their 8 hour shift so that's like 230 to 460 BRL so getting their number to do more stuff is the key as sometimes they don't get any guys at all some night so they like to get what they can get. Rooms are small and just ok so best to get their number to go to a better love hotel or your hotel / airbnb. Centaurus seems to have the best looking girls but all the girls I talked to wanted a drink but were generally friendly. Also they have a girl escort you upstairs so you have a guide to show you the ropes which is nice. It's the most expensive out of all the termas it's like 600 BRL for entrance, room and a girl for 40 mins and then 400?BRL for girls and room after that, something like that. They charge an extra 120 BRL if you use a card as well so best to bring cash. Got a girls number here and she was super friendly so good girls here. I personally liked Solarium /4 x4 the best for the price and quality of girls.

Didn't go to any Boates here but heard it's a mixed bag so you just have to try your luck.

Prives seems to be the cheapest out of all the options and seems to be ok. 200 BRL for an hour on average. Similar to Clinicas in SP but you can tell these don't get much traffic as the SP clinicas do.

You get a decent massage included.

Would check out for the cheap price and line up is ok.

Acompanhantes here is easy to find as most are in barra in the transamerica hotel. Good selection but the girls are constantly rotating (the ones I found more interesting) so it's hard to find your girl if you have someone in mind sometimes. There are some regular girls here of course but some girls appear for a few days and disappear so you have to be ready to strike when you get your chance. 300 to 600 BRL is the asking. If you're in barra and they are in copa (or vice versa) they will ask for UBER which I find understandable as it is a 35 min drive. If you stick to the trust worthy sites you should be fine I didn't get burn once using barras vip or private55.

SAO PAULO.

Clinicas ("massage"/ Incall escorts) / Boates (Nightclubs) / Online girls (Private55, MClass, etc).

Clinicas are the best value I've seen so far. Miruna, Abbobora, Carinas, enjoy spa are all within walking distance so if you don't like one line up you can walk a few blocks and find another. 230 BRL is the average with 460 BRL for 2 girls. Line ups are usually good with a 8+ girls usually in rotation. Rooms are medium size and decent. Always best to get a girls whatsapp if you're interested. The girls here also have alot of passion which makes it all the more worth it.

Boates I've went to was scandallo and loved it! It definitely is one of / if not the top clubs in the world. It is very luxurious and is really like fantasy movie. 300 BRL to enter with 150 BRL of that going towards food or drink of your choice. Girls can range from 500 to 1000 BRL so it's really how good of a negotiator you are. Room is 230 BRL with a mega room being 260 (never saw that room but for 30 more I would check it out) if you take two girls you have to pay double for your room. Stupid I know. So you're looking at 1100 BRL if you do everything right. Pretty expensive compared to the clinicas where you can get a 3 some for 460 BRL. I will say though, the food and drinks are good and extensive and so are the girls. When you go up the elevator to the 2nd floor there are tons of girls there. There is usally 50+ girls on any given night. Asians girls, brancas, loiras, ruvias, spinners, tall, short, skinny, thick (very few black girls tho) so really it's just a nice diverse crowd. Girls don't approach you, you have to talk or wave them to you. So no one is pressuring you, you can just eat, drink and scan for the right girl. The girls also don't seem to ask for drinks which is cool. I didn't speak any portuguese but they all tried their best to keep the conversation going. You really get to get a sense of their personality which is a real big plus. I'm used to luxurious incall places in Montreal or Barcelona and I find this fantasy nightclub one step further which just enhances your experience. You feel like ryan gosling or george clooney picking up a hot chick who just wants to bang you. It is expensive compared to anything in Brazil but it definitely sells you a one of a kind experience you won't ever get anywhere else (unless you're super hot and rich, then carry on).

I would do the clinicas in the day time and after 10 pm which is when you would want to go to scandollo I go there. A good mix of fun.

Online girls I've found to be all over. They would appear and disappear on and off. It seems the rate was 400 to 600 BRL. I had some luck with MClass, private55 and SPLove. It's really just checking up everyday to see if the girl you want appears or not. Clinica girls usually settle for 300 BRL so honestly if you're looking for something consistent I would go that route. I would luck it out tho you can definitely find some great talent you just have to put the work in and you will be rewarded. Don't use photoacompanhantes they always do a bait and switch. You can still fuck the switch girl but it's never the same girl and it's just being lied to that makes it all scummy. Use the 3 sites I listed to not get scammed out of your time and money.

CONCLUSION.

I found that I liked the SP scene a bit better. The no commitment / entrance fee line ups at the clinicas mixed with the luxury fantasy land of scandollo (plus daytime-clinicas nighttime-scandollo) scenario really makes it a solid play. Plus SP has tons of Luxury high rise AirBNBs that are listed for $40 a night makes it a really top notch experience.

BUT.

There is almost nothing to do in SP (unless you guys can recommend some fun things to do) except eat and shop. Its a huge metropolis so you really have to look.

The girls here seem to be really business minded. Never got to meet a girl for fun or pernoite so was a bummer. I know it happens so I just may have to wish for better luck next time.

I found RIO to be a much better relaxation / vacation location with good girls. You can't beat the views and activities you can do here. Hiking, swimming, sailing, paragliding, etc. You can find a diverse bunch of girls here (not much spinners but black girls for sure than SP) and they are much friendlier and playful. You definitely can spend a whole day with a girl here and have a good time without having sex which says a lot about the city.

BUT.

Not a fan of the small spaces of the termas.

Not many luxury airbnbs in copa / Ipa (there are a ton in barra but that's a 35 min drive plus they are usually not by the beach).

I will come back again and most likely do another week in both cities because they both offer their unique pros which I like and don't want to miss out.

Just my 2 cents if I'm missing anything let me know.

From what I have read about Rio and the attitudes of the girls there, in Rio de Janeiro being a prostitute is no different than being a waitress or a check out girl in the United States. There isn't much of a stigma to it, which means that the girls are more normal, fun and relaxed about being paid for sex.

Is there truth to this or am I misunderstanding?

Like any other city, there is a class hierarchy. Perhaps, a conservative Carioca will be somewhat tolerant of a working girl simply because she is from a low rung on the ladder.

Cariocas (Rio natives) are known for being laidback and more carefree than Paulistas. I suppose you can generally say that about cities with beaches and great climates. My Brazilian friends from other places joke about the Cariocas not giving a damn and being all about having a good time. Of course, these are generalizations.

As far as Carioca working girls not being on the clock and more willing to just hang out, in my experience that would seem to be indicative of the Carioca spirit.

Although it is tolerated and a woman will not be persecuted, does not mean it does not carry a certain stigma. Nobody is around Brazil praising hookers. They are still talked about behind their backs and carry a negative connotation. There are no Brazilians hoping their kid grows up to be a hooker. People just understand that it is what it is.
