Skokka Scammers, 1st experience
This is an experience from when I just started mongering in Kolkata, back in 2020 June.
I saw an ad on skokka for a MP cum flat where the deeds are done openly. I enquired the rate, 1500/ hour for 2 shots, was the answer. He also shared some pics of girls there, I liked a few of them, so thought of visiting them that day itself. Had a talk with the guy on call, he told me to arrive at the Shovabazar Metro Station.
Note:- I said I would pay them online since I didn't want to bring my card and I didn't get time to take out cash from the ATM.
Place: Shovabazar Metro Station.
After arriving at the Shovabazar Metro, I gave a call to the guy, he asked me about the color of my clothes, I told them the exact color of my T-shirt. After waiting for 15 mins, a fat guy in a shabby apparel comes to me and says come with me, I will take you to the center. We took a white cab from there, he paid the cab for me, which was very odd.
He took me to some residential place inside BK Pal, neighborhoods. After a long walk from the cab of around 5-6 minutes, we reach a residential building, just an ordinary building to be exact. The entrance of the building was at the corner end, while getting inside that lane to get to the entrance, I found another guy in a red shirt behind me. At this time, I had two men the white shirt one (shabby) and the red shirt one blocking my way out, so had no other option than to move forward.
I get inside a room, that has an attached kitchen, nobody is inside. The Red shirt guy closes the gate from inside. Now I am inside the room with the red and white shirt guy. As soon as the gate is closed, I get the biggest surprise of my life.
Three guys pop out from kitchen. All three of them are fat af and tall. I start sinking mentally.
Now from here, begins their regular torture scheme. They force me, hit me badly. One of them took out his camera and start saying, "he has come to Sg, to fuck girls", while showing my face and forcing me.
Then these assholes start their pravachan and say, that don't you have sisters and mother in your home, why have you come here.
After that, they take my phone, hit me badly and tell me to unlock it. They take my password too. As soon as I unlock my phone, they go to my contacts and then start acting as if they are taking a video of all my contacts and whatsapp. This is just their regular routine. Then they start blackmailing me to give the password of my bank account in the UPI app.
They take that also, as soon as they get that, they empty my bank account, they got hold of around 24 k to be exact. They told me we will take your phone as well, but after begging them, they just returned that to me.
They started blackmailing me, not to go to police or tell this to anyone else, otherwise they will do what they do best.
After 40 minutes of torture from the5 guys inside, finally, I was set free. They also took my silver chain, which I had on my neck.
After results:- Tried contacting the police, but didn't do an FIR, just a normal diary. Was of absolutely no use. Got a docket too, to block the scammer's bank account, but of no use. It has been 1 year now, I didn't even get a single penny back. The trauma in the P.S. Was a separate thing, they started blaming me for going there and not the scammers.
Conclusion:- Never trust skokka ads, 95% are fake, and will land you in an unwanted situation. If you get faced with a similar situation, don't panic, just do what the assholes say, they don't even make the video, they just act to make you compliant enough. Block their numbers, never try to contact them again. Best to just change it. As a precaution, never carry your phone or card to places you don't trust or new ones. These people don't stop at any amount, they will empty your bank account, so please only carry cash to a new place.
Maximum times the police is also involved or the scammers pay them some hafta, so why inflict yourself with additional pain, it is of no use.
If someone calls you to some other place and then takes you somewhere else, don't trust them.
SP Priya SP Ruma SP Shreya
I am not sure if we are discussing about the same SP, but I had exactly same experience with SP Shreya (earlier operating from Baguihati now in Kestopur).
She keeps sharing pics and putting on status and DP, only idea is to somehow get you her den. Irrespective of what you choose, when you reach you have totally different options to choose from. Pics shown are either highly photoshopped or quite old. Hygiene is something they don't know about, and the whole things goes so mechanical that you don't realize when it gets finished, hurri the service and rude and rough behaviors goes with there regular practice.
I agree, we all should collectively boycott these SP.

Very Sad and Discouraging
Very sad and discouraging to see that we get scammed 99% of the time and also tortured in few cases like this. I think something for self defense is very important. Unknown place should always go with few people. 1500 for 2 shots is dream too be good to be true in this so called city of joy now. You could also contact them as someone else through the same ad and go with few people the next time to recover the damages. I'm looking for suggestions from experienced mongers in this forum as to what do they do for self defense. Would be interesting to receive your feedback seniors and juniors.

Prevention is better than cure

In these situations, it is best to remain calm (very easy to say I know) and not to panic. Self defense and all will not work. Fighting multiple opponents, especially in their turf is odds stacked against you. We have been too conditioned by the shit we see in movies. Most people have never been in a real physical fight in their lives and will have absolutely no clue what to do. One good hit is all it requires to knock you out unlike the tennis matches we see in typical indian movies where hero and villains exchange punches one after the other. The prescribed method by many foreign police forces for civilians in cases where they are being extorted, for example someone holds you up at knife point and asks for your wallet is to hand over your wallet. The logic is that your wallet can be replaced but not your life. I recently watched a youtube video where a youtube vlogger goes to a nigerian slum and goes to a place to have a drink. He is very friendly and even buys drinks for the guys in there and chats with them. Later when he is about to leave, the situation changes. The guys start demanding a 'fee' for filming and talking with them. The youtuber is a white guy so he is out of his elements there. Obviously these guys think he is very rich and want to extort the maximum from him,. But this guy maintains his composure, doesn't get angry or anything. Tells them that he doesn't have a lot of money with him. He offers them a small amount and asks them to think about it while he calmly gets up and drinks his beer and acts cool. They finally agree to his offer and he leaves without any bad word or anything spoken between the two parties. The dude handled it pretty calmly I would say. His name is sabbatical and you can check him in youtube. The point is that if its just the wallet or something, its better to hand it over and be done with it. Who knows what these guys may be carrying, knives, guns. Etc? But if you are being kidnapped for ransom or some other reason then it is a whole different story. In those cases, according to USA police statistics, in most of cases where the victim is moved from the primary area (place where kidnapping happened) to a secondary area (kidnappers' place etc) , it doesn't end well for the victim. In these cases, some people recommend that you fight for your life. But I believe what mongers face will probably fall into the first category and not this one.
