I am opposite. I avoid girls that look wildly keen in an exaggerated way. I prefer a more natural non fake non actress personality. In soi6 normally the girls call you and invite you to the bar, if the girl just sit on the stool and seems busy with her smartpone (play, chat, look FB) sure I keep walking and don't stop to talk with her.

I am looking at standard sites like agoda / booking but not finding any great deals. My trip is in mid June and the rates I am getting are around 85-90 $ a day. Baraquda is the one I am zeroing in on at the moment but any insights would be greatly appreciated. My budget is around a $100 bucks a day.

Soi 6 or Walking Street?[/QUOTE]Your bank account will say Soi 6. Depending on what you like, and that is subjective, I would say better to try both out. You can start with sio 6 early and Walking opens as early as 7:30 in some (few gogos) but doesn't really start until 8:30-9:30.

On to the report: Ah, the rush of being back in Pattaya after an absence of about two months! Even as I begin my five days in Thailand I am already wistful knowing that it may be a year, or years, before I can figure out a way to scam my way back. The "Thailand again?" is raising eyebrows, damnit.

So I have checked in to the Baraquda, which owing to the usual Thai logic, has rewarded my repeat business with a crappier room and a minibar with fewer amenities. Nevertheless, the place suits a purpose. Its proximity to LK Metro was nice last night. Owing to my cluelessness, I had never been to that area for agogos and found the talent certainly matching the Walking Street ones. Prices, however, are roughly similar, so there is no distinct advantage. The names of the places escape at this morning hour, but I visited Touch and Champagne, the latter where I barfined a girl named Nid, early 20's, a reddish-haired spinner. By the light of day her face would rate a 6-7, but that unblemished little body rocked my world. I believe I was simply tired from the airport / flight by about 10. (Initial plan was to get a foot massage and sleep along Road 2, hit LK Metro and then to Walking Street to see whether the hot lingerie dancer was still at Skyfall. Cheers.[/QUOTE]I stayed at LK Renaissance. I used booking dot com to reserve my hotel. It was as I said 3,000 Baht which is about 82 USD, the same as you are getting on Agoada. In fact, this hotel also advertises on there. The room was huge, with 1 bedroom, kitchen, living room, study, and bathroom. 2 large screen tvs and very fancy decoration. I'm not sure what is wrong with what you are not finding but it's easy as far as I am concerned.

Headed to Pattaya on Saturday by taxi from Sukhumvit road. The price was 1,500 Baht plus the tolls. It took about 2 hours and the driver took me right to the door of my hotel.

I stayed at LK Renaissance just off of 2nd road on Soi Diana, 2 minutes from Soi LK Metro and Soi Bukow. The rate was 3,000 Baht booked from booking dot com. It was a large suite with a living room, kitchen, study, and bathroom. A lot of fancy decorations and 2 big screen tvs. Low season is great. Hotel is GF and they always ask for the lady's ID card.

As I stated, I wanted to check out LK Metro. Th bars there are as follows:

I visited a good number of them but can only remember some points about a few. Ninja Agogo clearly caters to Japanese customers but the talent is very bad with very few beautiful ladies. Big disappointment. The office Agogo also the same. Just a few ladies not even worth looking at. Clearly in my eyes, the one with the best talent was Bachelor club Agogo. All the ladies were all natural and young. I visited most of the rest but it all became a big blur after. Here's what happened. The first one I stayed at for a beer was Bachelor Club Agogo bar. The talent was excellent. Most ladies with all natural bodies. I spotted a 20 year cutie and asked the server to go and get her. Then it started again with this ladydrink question. Telling me I must buy her a drink and very rude behaviour. I'm asking myself, who in their right mind would invite a lady over and not buy her a drink? Ridiculous! Alas with all the Agogo drama recently, I decided to go next door to the big group of beer bars. To my surprise, there were many hot girls in every bar. We left the bar about 10:00 PM to drink at Insomnia a few doors door. A holidaying German couple joined us from the bar. They asked to come to my hotel but I'm really not into this so we declined. My lady was ok with fooling around in the bar but no further. We left together and went back to my hotel just the two of us.

My overall opinion of LK Metro is not good. I'm not sure if any of the bars there are extremely successful. All I know is the vibe is very dull with no atmosphere and very rude staff. Walking Street is much better and more customer friendly in my eyes. However, in my view, Pattaya is the place to hook with a chick LT and have a great time. You can have a great chance finding a diamond in the many smaller bars on Walking street or elsewhere to help you achieve this. So if I had 3 or 4 days to spend in Pattaya, I would spend each day searching for one LT encounter per day. Go for dinner, dancing and back to my hotel for 2-4 pops over the course of the evening amd next morning with a stunner.

On a side note, I did not have a chance to go to Soi 6 or do any of the massage shops as I was too busy with my chosen companion for that night. Overall a great one day trip.
