Dear brothers,
I used a few websites where we could get basic consultation for law related queries and some say that being with a female counterpart in a private place with mutual consent is fine.
Some say that it's crime and gave me bhashan. I am a practical person and heavily influenced from broken marriages around.
Why is there a difference of opinion when there is one IPC in place. And I saw Ravinder brother sharing about raids on Oyo as well.
If we look at YouTube video, they portray it as a crime. I won't get into ethics. But, people loot the nation and they get a clean chit.
The one act that involves a male and a girl from Tinder or SA or other dating site at Oyo or some other place is their individual matter. There is a lot of moral policing and instances where in they call parents and do counselling kind of stuff. Some even take pictures and put it in papers.
At times, I think that matters like these are in grey area intentionally so that the looters can loot the country, and LE, and governance can focus on these elements.
P.S. - POV differs, and I am sorry if it offends anyone. I have huge respect for LE, but not for the system that does not provide a clarity.
I am not trying to scare the shit out of any new ones. I only wanted to check with anyone who has experienced such LE heat, how they avoided traps, and information as such.
Also, if you have any idea about law, please share if we go to jail for being with a lady? What would happen if we ever get caught?
As I said, not going to pretend here. Asking this to try my luck with different avenues out there and trying to be aware of consequences if any, to avoid procrastinating.

All said and done, our society does not 'appreciate' or accept prostitution, well yes, that may be a big hypocrisy, but you have to weigh your options between a facing a social stigma, amongst your own family and others and fighting the cops. We are a society, where we do not protest a cop when he stops us and issues a challan for not having a helmet etc or not having proper vehicle papers. So, if you think you can fight the cops and face the other consequent issues, it is your choice and adventure.
In this country and in most other countries if you get into the eyes of the cops, they can ruin your career, personality, etc etc if they wish to. So the caution.
Coming to the video posted by a fellow member of a news report of raids on OYO, please note that the OYO establishment gave rooms even without taking the guests IDs. That is a crime and that points to prostitution, that, if they wish can turn the case into kidnap and illegal detention of girls in the hotel etc etc. The cops can play football with you and you will not know what hit you from which direction. So the caution.

It takes a lot of guts to confront the cops. I was asked at a resort near Chennai when I was with my GF. We said we are in a live in and were ready to give ID proofs. The girl was pretty strong and answered with a cool sense. They didn't pursue us. Its pretty easy to extract a few thousands from ordinary citizens.
