I'm booked for a stay in Taipei next week. On past trips, I've done Yuki's, Caesars, and Tokyo Sauna.

Abc Boy. I've seen your posts about KTV's and this sounds like something to experience (although per you posts it is quite expensive). I'm bringing some extra cash, so I might give this a shot. I'm a Caucasian, however, and know just a few words of Mandarin. Is this a non-starter? Have any of you non-Chinese tried KTVs? I'm not looking to waste a wad of cash.

Also, I'm wondering if the changes coming down with legalization have had any effect upon Yuki's service. I've been happy in the past. Anyone have recent info? Crater

So are you looking to spend or not? Like I said if you want to go the KTV route you need to be ready to spend around $20K NTD.

I am kind of afraid of invitations now because I have a lot of "one post" wonders that PM me for KTV, but when I test them they all went silent. One even claimed to be an ABC like me but his Chinglish really gave him away. I think something's definitely fishy here...

Yesterday 7 pm passed through KeeLung city and took one quick cruise at "Railroad Streets". About 50% of the girls were under 30 years old.

Sorry to see you got no action. But if you are a waiguoren, then they probably avoid you like someone with H1N1. I have to just wander around 3 min before someone comes up to my on a scooter and gives me the "nudge nudge wink wink". I think the the LE crackdown on the area, they will not take a chance on someone who is obviously there for only one reason.

I think some houses are still open at TongAn East St.
There is another one, best quality girls (usually) but terrible rooms (always, even though they have changed several locations), in the alley (west side) of TaTung South Rd. This tricky-to-find alley is at the south of SanKaung elementary school. The north side of that school is a police precinct. If you go south (on TaTung South Rd) and then reach the road "along the river"/under construction, you have passed that trick alley.

I went to another KTV on Jing Zhou road between LinSen North Road and ZhongShan East Road. Only accessible if you know a friend or manager there. Can't just walk in.
I spent 2 hours and 5000NT and receive a strip dance in the first hour and a HJ in the second (this is the minimum charge). I drank whiskey, sang a few songs, danced, ate their snacks, had tea at the end, etc. All in all I tend to agree with Rag, that it is an expensive HJ, but it is fun to play with 18-20 year old cuties. a friend of mine recently returned from taipei, and he passed this along to me and i will try it out when i'm in taipei. he says that the mcd in ximending is becoming a center for young girls to make a quick buck. simply go there, order a soda, sit around and spot some girls that are also there alone, pretending to study or chatting in a group. make eye contact, smile, and they will come to you to negotiate, price varies but 3k is usually enough (desperate ones will settle for 2k). he got one for 2k and after the job is done he asked how much for second and the girl replied 1k, so he got another shot.
